After geo-wife spoke to CO. We came and took a look sure enough all we found was the log sheet. We grab the sheet to deliver to the CO at today's event.

Thanks team casho (I think we just missed you by a matter of seconds!)

15-Jan-12
Just got to the comp! Found few days ago! Fun location Smile

13-Jan-12
Well not so sure you could reach this while not on the train. Perhaps a recently added barrier has changed things. Found easily enough by the kids. Interesting old train, pity it is not being as well maintained as it should be. Tftc

12-Jan-12
Cool cache. Found it in no time. Not what l expected. TFTC.

04-Jan-12
found it on second go. Got dirty

03-Jan-12
Found on my third visit. Spent half an hour looking high and low, finally spotted the cache. I can confirm that there is no reason to climb onto the train to grab it, both feet were on the ground. TFTC.

Found this one. Not sure the cache was in the right spot, had to climb on the train to get it. Put it back where we found it but might be worth checking.

Found at 4.05pm GAFF3. Even though there was absolutely no one around it took some time to get to the right level to find this nice sized container. So glad it was wasn't a pimple on the inside of nowhere!
Thanks Team Casho - we have finally done one of your caches!

03-Dec-11
Tricky little sucker, Done with Fitzy, Sol and McPhan who made the score. People at work and home still asking what is that cut in your head from.. I wonder.

Thanks TEAM CASHO for another of your caches.

4146 + 229 = 4375. The next find in Wollongong for "McFitzdeLune7" - McPhan, Myself, Sol de Lune and ZsaZsa7.

As usual I found this type of hide tricky (Trains, Tractors, Guns etc...) We all crawled around the place until McPhan spotted the cache and his long fingers came in useful once again ! Thanks TEAM CASHO !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

A good 10 minutes of searching before McPhan came up with the find. A tricky little one to see and then grab.

Thanks Team Casho.....a bit of fun

While my wife was shopping, geodaughter (tadpole7) and I snuck away to find a cache. Having DNF'd here over a year ago and being that this was the nearest I could find it was game on. After a short search and 1 bump on the head ( I needn't have looked there) I found the sneaky hide. Thanks team casho for this cache and hope all is well with you guys out west. Dropped king of geocoins Geocoin.

While mum was shopping me and geodad Toadmeister7 snuck out to do a cache. Searched the old train and a few minutes and a bump on Toadmeister's head made the find. TFTC! [B)]

Too easy. Lucky elyse was small enough to have a good look

25-Aug-11
Found by Mrs Rose after some pondering...(Thorn insisted on applying the hint too broadly). Rosebuds loved playing on the train and finding the "treasure". Log starting to disintegrate.

On the way back from the South Coast Winterswimming Championships in Woonoona. Depite the cool air temperature, overcast, a great day. Five swims for me: heat, final, and three relays. Made it to place 6 in my age group Wink. Altogether, Stanwell Park Sea Eels did great!

Thanks, Team Chacho! Suparki12 from Bulli High told me few months ago about this cache - not the details, so I had to search. Found it within half a minute - no dirt. Glad to take a brand new TB from Paegle Boy. Not sure, where I find the scouts, but will move it on. I can bring it to another great scouting country very soon!

I'm the one who found it! With my dad and brother.

08-Jun-11
After splitting up to different trains I was first concerned when finding an empty container on the ground. Sure enough the, 'I found it' call came from one of the younguns and to their pleasure I suggested we reveal the contents from inside the train. Cache in good order, magnet worked well.

20-Apr-11
Part of team Canary's caching run with Rainbow Spirit.

It is always good to knock off a DNF!

I think the front of the train is sinking!?!

TNLNSL. TFTC.

20-Apr-11
I found the cache laying on the ground under the train, with the contents spread about. When Team Canary showed up, we replaced the container with the aid of a magnet I had with me, hopefully close to where it was originally. Thanks TC, at last I can put those DNFs to bed.

09-Jan-11
Little martians had a good look here - but a co-ordinated effort is always tough with them. Will return.

04-Jan-11
This was our 2nd attempt at this one
Thanks for the hunt

07-Oct-10
I just couldn't get into the swing of this one today, a DNF to nowhere..

07-Aug-10
Another large structure from a bygone time that has countless hidey holes, well at least the hint reduced the search area. Where else would it be yep! Picked up coin and will assist it on its journey as it would not get too far on this particular mode of transport.Thanks.

26-Jun-10
Nope not today. We shall come back this way again!

13-Jun-10
Reperio at 0715. I have stopped by this one before, but through the odd muggle passing by, felt a bit uncomfortable searching so left it for another time....Well that time was today, and after a thorough search on hands and knees, crawling among broken glass and the likes, I'm finally glad to say I can cross this one off the list.

Nice to see these old trains still have some purpose.

Gratias.

662 - 4 for today. Found on 06/06/10 12:09 PM
No one around, after a search around found it in the second place I looked. TFTC TNSLLN

05-Jun-10
As we pulled up there were sighs from all of us - we've seen so many similar locations with caches (usually magnetic nano's) and had so many dnf's but today little miss H spotted the goods after only a few minutes! Very satisfying! Left a geocoin, which we're sure will be safe as we very much doubt this one will get muggled!
Cheers,
The Hancock Clan

22-May-10
Had passed this cache on the way home from an ses event down the road but by the time we stopped to look it was dark. Once GZ was narrowed down to one of a million possible options, the shadows from the essential torchlight made the find easy. Retrieval however was a different story and I had to rely on Ozvixen's longer arms. A team effort Wink

22-May-10
MizMaz was first to find today - though I maintain she had an advantage with the torch in our night time caching expedition. Great spot - TFTC Smile

a bigger cache than what we're used to for these, but still hard

28-Mar-10
Heh - apparently the others in our team are in need of 'remedial caching' for not finding it sooner Wink Cheers Gav [4997]

28-Mar-10
It took an extensive search but we got there in the end.
Should have been more obvious than it was. TFTC.

28-Mar-10
This was a fun cache! Tbone and Care Bear came with me to hunt for this one with the promise of "no leeches". They had a great time playing on the train! In amongst the games, I searched here and there for the cache. So many possibilities in such a small space. Lucky the kids were having such fun that they didn't complain on how long it took. But we got there in the end! Cache was found, log signed, coin dropped and cache back in its place.

Took a while to locate, but a bit of perserverance paid off, with Abel E making good on the cache. Nice train, shame there is no history or story abouts it's use at its location. TFTC Smile

20-Feb-10
Forgot to log the did-not-find last time with the Katey Bears. Found it this time though, it still wasn't easy, required a contorted shoulder. Left a Cole Classic 2010 medallion (not a travel bug).

2nd visit, found it, thank you.

17-Jan-10
What a great piece of old machinery to place a cache on a lot of possible hiding spots still took a good 20mins
of looking but found it in the end.A muggle family came up just as cache was being put back in pushed to far
and it fell on to tracks, now how to get it back without them knowing, quick thinking geowife says out loud maybe
the manufacturing date is underneath,no date but cache returned to its hiding spot safely...TFTC...CoolCool

Many options to hide a cache, but I got it in the end ...

I hate when the recent logs say "found easily"; nothing makes me worse at finding a cache than knowing other people had no trouble.

Needless to say more than 20 mins of looking and shoving my hand in every dark place we still couldn't find anything.

Seems to be some recycling of old cache locations, this spot should always have a cache. Easy find, less than 60 seconds, perfect co-ords. many thanks for a reason to visit again.

Nice place for a cache, except I have already found one in the same location?

14-Aug-09
Well we didn't spend as much time here as we did last time on the old one thanks.

Indeed this train is going nowhere! I was just about to climb the train anyway as I spotted a glimps of what could be the container and I was right!

As always don't know how I missed it the first time.
Probably because there are only about 10,000 places to look even with the clue, but this time the light was just right. (It was last time too, still couldn't see it though.)
I am sure I looked there last time but must have had the blinkers on.

Thanks Team Casho.

Things could not have worked out better for us today as we had arrived at the station early this morning to catch the train to Sydney.
As we had the extra time up our sleeve we decided to give this cache another go. After the last attempt we were not confident but gave it a go anyway....
What do you know, this time it was located.
We signed the log, replaced the cache and still had plenty of time to get to the platform in time to catch the train.
Thanks for the cache Team Casho. I very clever hide.

26-Jul-09
We looked and looked but didn't score a find. We will return another day when things arn't as wet.
Many thanks Team Casho.

20-Jul-09
It was starting to get dark while we were searching for this one and with lots of possible hiding spots i went back to the car for the headlamp. On resuming the search it was found inside 2 minutes.
Jumped aboard with the geodaughter, blew the whistle and off to the next one we went.

Just like the first time I looked for the previous cache on this loco again it has sent me loco.
The logs say it is obvious but short of taking the thing apart with an oxy lance I came up empty handed. Time to regather the troops and attack another time.

05-Jul-09
Found this one much more quickly than the last one hidden here! Mind you, I had help with Mini Roo actually spotting the cache, and Lucy retrieving and replacing it. Mini Roo loved playing, pretending she was driving the train. GZ was deserted today, a nice change from previous visits. Thanks for The cache TEAM CASHO

02-Jun-09
Chip, Ding and I made a quick and easy find on our way North for the evening. Although GZ appeared to be a couple of metres out it could easily have been the poor weather conditions effecting Gizmo's accuracy. At any rate the general hiding area was obvious.

I managed to find and retrieve the cache without touching the locomotive at all. A clue, or a misguided statement... you be the judge!

Thanks Team Casho, may your prolific entrance into the Wollongong Caching Arena continue unabated!

Cheers

As Hoojar said, we found this one at night. Well Hoojar found it. I just walked around trying to keep my uniform out of the mud and wet while swearing at my torch.
Great fun! Smile Seriously.

29-May-09
where is it can some give a big hint

27-May-09
Heading up to Sydney for the day I thought I'd use Bulli Pass, giving myself opportunity to swing by and grab this new cache.
I think this is the 3rd cache in my career that I've seen on here, lets hope it lasts longer than its predecessors. TNLN Thanks Team Casho

25-May-09
Well we tried to make this one a first to find just like "Full Steam Ahead". For those of you that do not know, that was the name of the original cache hidden here some time ago. Unfortunately we were 3rd to find. Not to worry, it appears that we were first to log. There must be some history somewhere about this engine ? SL TFTC TNLN

25-May-09
Though I was pretty quick to react to this one. We got to GZ and caught Krafty Charlie in the act. After a few minutes I came up with the goods and was sure a FTF was in the bag. Unfortunately the Goonieroos, quick as the wind, had already been and gone.
