Sounds like a previous cacher left the lid open. Could the next person perhaps wiz the wet log on the car heater to dry it?
Blackflies in the morning give you the right start for the day . We also found a bit of cacher philosophy in the box. TFTC
On our long journey along this Scottish highway we broke up the trip with a few drive-bys, but simple random caches got a bit tiresome fairly quickly, especially with all the stop-starting.... and we still had quite a long way to go so only picked up a couple. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Australia and the Netherlands.
