I poked around for quite a while,
But no slimey found,
So I could not smile
Could I have a clue,
As to where it is ?
Otherwise it's a cache in a needle stack !! [:o]
Nice spot to take a wander [^]

Well, we can turn this frowny face upside down after a second look around . It pays sometimes to have a fresher mind and it is never a hard chore to return to CBF, I love this place. Geo son and I were on the hunt for 100 finds today and this bought up number 99 . It was then off for a long hunt to find number 100 on another track.
TFTC Beauges. It was a quick find today with a clearer mind.

Geo son was "too tired" to go to school today, but, not too tired enough so that we could tackle some caches in the Crooked Brook Forest. It was a fun day dodging rain and then warming up in the sun.
Unfortunately, we weren't able to find the cache today But maybe that was just the hiking taking it's toll.
It's still a stunning place to whittle away some time though. TFTC.

After having lunch at the parking spot we had enough energy for a little walk and to grab a few caches. We might have to come back for the other 2 nearby caches but it was to warm today and we did not have any water with us. This slimey bugger was found easily and cache in good condition. TFTC Beauges.
I'm glad I didn't have to walk too far off the track for this one. Took a while to get here as I was taking so many photos of the wildflowers. Saw some Red tailed black cockatoos too my favourite bird. Managed to get this one as the grey clouds rolled in. TFTC
We drove down to the Ferguson Valley to visit Mrs richlink who was working at the Wedding Expo. After stopping for a spot of lunch at a local winery we headed off to the magnificent Crooked Forest. Thanks for your cache Beauges.

Cute. Nice hiding spot and beautiful winter day. This pic taken off the southern bridge.
This was the first find for the day of 5 caches. It proved to be the most difficult as the GPS would only get us with in 10 mtrs and was bouncing around. No1 son managed to make the find much to his delight. A few small items were swapped out but a very small cache didn't fit much in it. The dam was full and flowing lightly out the over flow. We enjoyed a BBQ morning tea at the picnic spot before going to find this one.
With lots of chores to get done around the house I decided to get this one out of the way first.
Can't have anything interupt the gardening (unfortunately)
Was an easy find on a lovely walk around the dam
I replaced logbook and brought the old one home as not too much room in container. I'm happy to post or deliver it to CO if they like.
Thanks for the cache and once again bringing us out to this lovely spot
Only one more to do out here

Just that it needs a new log as the current one is full and starting to fall apart from repeated folds and rolls! Cache container is a-okay though.
A nice quick find with a couple of mates whilst having a BBQ across the creek for my 25th b'day. TFTC
Gotta love school holidays - gives me a break from my "cherubs". Headed southwards today with urch in the driver's seat. My mission for today was to clear out the Bunbury/Ferguson Valley area a bit. Had been meaning to get to these ones for a while now, considering my best friend lives in Donnybrook. Enjoyed the walk among the wildflowers today. Quick find at gz. Thanks Beauges
We parked in the car park between these two caches on the western side of the road and walked to them both from there. A very nice walk amongst the wild flowers and we had the place to ourselves, despite there being a few cars in the car park.
Left the Travel GPS GC. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache Beauges.

Bypassed the campers at the car park and found without too much trouble. Forgot the camera but the water level was quite high.
Lovely way to spend Fathers Day with the family, did a lot of walking today!!! Enjoyed looking at the wild flowers TFTC
Day13/Cache24 for the "31 Days of Geocaching" challenge.
Came to check this area out whilst on a caching run to Donnybrook and Wellington Mill. Took the short trail today and grabbed this one. We will come back to walk the other trails and find the other caches on another day. TNLN, thanks beauges.

Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Nice and informative walking trail suitable for prams and probably wheelchairs too. Dam had water in it, but was getting low. Very hot out today. Love the cute cache guardian. TFTH.

Thanks for the hide. Great spot looks like council is doing a bit of work to fix the path around the car park. Arrived at lunch time in the heat of the day. looks like they have gone in smoko.
Fantastic spot! This was my first find on a beautiful morning. Had the forest to myself this morning to soak up some sun and check out the abundant wildlife. Highly recommend marking this as a spot to explore the West Aussie bush.Grabbed the Travel Gift Geocoin. Last cacher must have overlooked it )
1 st for the day nice stroll. logbook is wet. tnln t4tc

A nice walk with new geodog and family. Lovely area. TFTC Dropped off travel gift TB
Very easy find on the 'little loop' - a great one for the kids and first-timers. This would definitely be a good place to bring visitors for a walk and a barbie in the spring.
TFTC first time we have visited even though we are local. Will certainly go again lots of wildlife.
introduced some orienteering friends to geocaching with this cache (there must have been 50-60 muggles using the nearby picnic shelter and bbq )

Found on our fathers day caching expedition! Had a quick look first, but we were in view of some muggles at the BBQ, as we went off to find crooked walking and then returned when the coast was clear! Such a great spot for the kids. TFTC
Found it around 10am i think a loggod the book the wrong date i think i did the 14th
Found finally - it was all burnt out last time - scared my sister with the cache lol TFTC
Finally got around to this one, after finding it burnt out late last year. TFTC. Like the frog.
Had a bit of trouble finding this one due to Barbie (GPS) playing up but it was fairly simple in the end. Took a coin to drop in but it didn't fit so I went to the next cache and realized I had left the coin on the ground. Had to RUN back and get it so lost quite a bit of time. Never mind, helped with the fitness instead. TFTC
Tricky little frog took a little effort to find it! Nice spot to hop around in the bush. Hint, take the track around! Thanks for the trip!
Had the coords wrong for a start, copied them down wrongly. With the correct coords, spent ages digging through charcaol, then decided to give up. And there it was. Not much water in the dam, it must be a lovely spot in spring, I'll bring my other half up here to see the wildflowers. Thanks Beauges for introducing me to this beautiful bush. Took TB, LN.

Beauges, you will need to look at this one. I think they have had a controlled burn off in the area. Crooked Walking 1 and 3 are okay but the area all around where Number 2 is has been burnt out. We spent about half an hour sifting through the ashes and looking under every burnt log but with no luck at tracing the cache or the remnants of it. Give a buzz if you find it or repair it.
Returned today to have a crack at the new cache in the area - got a STF and to have another go at this one. Couldn't believe it when the battery died in the GPS about 20 mts from GZ. After the ''stinging remark'' by the owner I wasn't leaving empty handed this time and luck was with me as I soon had that little blighter in my hand - take that Beauges!
Tried this one first and couldn't find it anywhere......
Came back after the other two in the area and found it easy enough the second time

No - just human! Shouldn't have taught you how to use that GPS properly - ha ha!!!!
It's still where i left it and now i know how to use gps propley ,it said 1.71m away .
Are the once mighty richlink slipping at their finding skills

We couldn't locate it either and we looked in a 16 mt radius from where GPS was indicating.
Congratulations rjm1 - We were getting our beauty sleep for an early set off to the two new caches down Jarrahwood way - pleased to say we got the 2 FTF''s!
Surprise...FTF This was published when muggles were settling down for the night and thinking of their beds. It was such a lovely night that the temptation for a bit of night caching was too great to resist. We grabbed the trusty head torches, spare batteries, Geomutt and headed off into the hills. We were expecting a 4WD to be in the carpark but we had it to ourselves. The concrete path was easy to follow and when it appeared to be leading us away from the cache we chose a more direct route. We didn't see a dam but we did have to cross a very deep, steep creek bed...fortunately there wasn't any water in it!!! For future finders of this cache...stick to the path as it gets you within about 10m of the cache.
The location was well chosen with several 'obvious' spots for the cache. After checking a few of them we came up with the goods at 10.10pm. Great cache Beauges. Thank you for the placement of this cache...must come back in daylight and check this spot out.
