As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Should have this up within the next week

09-Sep-11
Yes it it...

Countless interactions with electric screwdrivers with the torque wound right up have sheared the connections.

Offline till I can get a new replacement.

08-Sep-11
*CACHE is damaged* Found it on the ground but log and inner container were still there. SL put back where it belongs but not sure if it will stay there for long. TFTC

I'd had a go at this one some weeks ago thinking I was well prepared but I failed. I am certain I logged a note but I can't find any record of it. Maybe because I logged it from my phone and that only accepts blank logs? [:o)]

Anyway today I was back fully armed but still I couldn't make headway. One side was loose but the other wouldn't budge. After a minute or two I heard a voice behind me from over the fence "Did you find it?" - it was Mrs Geomatica who was in the park with the cache's namesake. I told her of the trouble I was having and she offered to get geomatica to come by but I managed to access the cache at last. Signed log and replaced. Also fixed up the loose bit. I think you really have to have almost exactly the right tools for the job here.

Thanks!

26-Aug-11
Been meaning to do this one for a while. I often drive hone this way. Well tonight after drinks was the perfect time. Had the right tool and CIH soon enough. Thanks Amy.

19-Aug-11
A great hide in a busy environment.. I found this with aniisawesome and akkatracker (who has already found this). I love these caches, you see it, take no notice, then realise then quickly get it! Looks believable, thankfully akkatracker told us the tool we needed so we had the cache in hand.

TFTC TNLN!

I love these caches. It would have to be 1 of my favourites, Needs a bit of a fix-up and I love the idea and the story. How did you get such a fitting place... Passed it then came back to retrieve and was like..???? TFTC TNLN

Spent a lot of time here but I admit I didn't have any tools with me since I'm from the US and only here a couple days. Left my tools at home. But I found a couple of places it might have been. TFTC Amy! Gave me a challenge.

3rd for the day.
One of the geokids noticed something 'sort of' out of place.
We did a quick check and then realised that it was the cache.
Followed the clue and retrieved the cache.
What a great cache.
Thanks

We love a sneaky hide. We too went into the park before realising our error. We located a tool in the car and soon had the cache in hand on Chippyroo's Sydney 24 Hour. TFTC.

11-Jun-11
Came back with the necessary tool and soon had the cache in hand. Well done!

TFTC.

10-Jun-11
I have had a good day so far with mixing work with caching so I thought this one can't be that hard so with that I parked just on GZ and got out with my immediate reaction to walk into the park I forgot my tools so as I went for them I look at my GPS and it was saying I was at GZ so with that I looked around and saw something I knew straight away was not supposed to be there, I got out my tool and CIH fast...well done this is very clever hide and If you are in my neck of the woods check out one of my caches Smile

Very clever hide, found we the help of Angelo.g.TFTC took coin to move on..

Cache Hunt 427; GAFF1; Weather, Night time; Helpers, None; Cache condition, Good; Find of the day, 1st; STATUS - Found; GPS at GZ - 2m.

I finally made it back after a DNF months ago. After reading the logs, and more finds, I had a better idea of what I was looking for. Pulled up to gz and walked over. Found camo and cache straight away this time. No tool needed. Was very unsecured. Took it back to my car and SL. Replaced and used tool this time to make sure it was back properly Wink

Great camo and hide Amy. Well done. I like it. TFTC

04-May-11
Very nicely done cache container. I went equipped with a few options and managed to access the cache and log it successfully. Thanks for the effort in this installation. TFTC, Biggles.

13-Apr-11
Read most of the logs before i left, just as well I did as i forgot to note the coords.. Ooops!! Still, enough had been said for the find to be easy and it was great to finally get to use my fake Swiss army knife!! I can only assume that this cache was set up at about 3 o'clock in the morning.... [|)]??!! Thanks for a great one, Amy & Dad Smile!!

13-Apr-11
All i can say is WOW! A lot of time must have gone into making this and if i was a premium member i would definitely give it a favourite point. After asking friend what tool i needed, i went in for the find straight away as there wasn't any muggles around. TFTC geomatica and amy and hope there are more of these caches.

11-Apr-11
had to come back to open this ..
Nice hide, was worried for a moment i had to fry myself on the electric substation.

went as the 3 lunch time hunters..

25-Mar-11
I found this one last night but didn't havethe right tool to open it. I do have one in thecar but my car was over 3000km away in Perth. Luckily it was late night shopping so I grabbed what I need from the local shopping centre and came back this morning. I soon had the cache in hand and signed the log.

We passed by to do a bit of reconnaisance the other day (without tools) and didnt see anything. So we came home to read the logs where just about everything is revealed - very tricky hide but easy if you read as much as we did.
As for whether someone will attempt something dangerous down the track as a result of the possibilities opened by caches of this type - I'd like to think not!
Love your work Geomatica

03-Mar-11
A clever cache that was made more difficult by my inaccurate phone GPS... why do none of these trees need a special tool? Tftc!

02-Mar-11
I really looked forward to searching for this cache, and hurried here from the Artarmon Trig (a GCA cache) to make the most of the remaining daylight. I don't usually get much of a chance to go geocaching around the Chatswood area.

I managed to park alongside the street right at GZ and, as I was closing the door of the GeoBuru2, clearly saw the cache's hiding place nearly right in front of me!

How could this happen? Well, I had just discovered Amy's Cache's twin brother out in the northwest of Sydney only 48 hours earlier. Even with my diminishing short-term memory I couldn't overlook this one . . .

So much for my search plans. I found that the small Leatherman tool in my pocket sufficed to do the job (though the whole construction was very 'loose' on my arrival) and after the logging formalities made sure everything was replaced nice and tight and ready for the next finder.

The hidden interior cache container & log were just fine. TNLNSL.

What a lot of work must have gone into this one! I was very impressed. Ordinarily it would have taken me ages to find it, but I really lucked out this time.

Full marks -- and many thanks -- to geomatica for a really creative effort.

Found with GeoKids 1&2. They thought this was a really bad idea at first, but then they realised it was all Ok, and were excited by the find. Thanks for the cache Amy.

Nice easy find. A lot of time must have been spent making this one.

962 - 12 for today. Found on 30/01/11 4:20 PM
Found the likely location after a brief search. As I was logging my find I was sprung by Amy herself, what a lovely girl. Thanks and well done on the work done on the camo. TNSLLN

What an amazing hide!! No fear after careful inspection! SL Thanks for a fantastic cache!

22-Jan-11
I suspected a certain hiding spot on my first visit but wasn't able to retrieve due to muggle traffic. This time, after verifying it was a fake by further inspection, the cache was in hand quite quickly. Still a little apprehensive about opening these things though. TFTC!

Comon really? I see a big green box, a power pole, a wire fence, 2 trees and a little green box on a pole...is it really around here? Spent 10 min in daylight hours looking around for it. At least it was good weather. Great hide...I'll be back.

20-Oct-10
There is no requirement to be within the confines of the park. The cache is accessible from the footpath.

13-Oct-10
Nicely hidden, luckily Sandy Feet had the required tools!

I remember finding the original cache and wondered whether I could find the revised version.
I parked next to the cache, did the business and took off home after work.
Thanks Amy for resurrecting this cache.

5th today on my trek in the Chatswood Lane Cove river area. All up I did 28kms on foot. As I got to gz for this one there was a group of muggles playing nearby. I said bugger and went to sit down. They saw me and left. I started my search and as soon as I did a car pulled up but the driver didnt get out. He parked right near the cache that I had spotted as soon as he pulled up. I said double bugger. I waited.
Soon another group of muggles came and started to play. I stood right in front of the cache waiting for everyone just to leave. Another car pulled up. I said geez is this rent a crowd or something. I just went for it. I got my special tool out and just grabbed the cache. Dont even think anybody even took any notice at all. Well done Amy on a top hide and now Im off to counselling for a bad case of muggleville TFTC

29-Jul-10
This was really hard, because although I knew roughly where it was, I always obey the GPS first, and it seemed to zero down on just about anywhere in the area. Experience then helped as I recognised a camouflaged cache, using a technique I have seen only twice before. Luckily I had checked my caching kit recently, and had what was needed. With increasing rain no-one was about so I could work unwatched. TNLN, thanks for a good hide.

A great cache to find when you are introducing the sport to a novice. Signed log. TFTC.

28-Jun-10
I attempted this cache last week, but didn't have the right tool. Now with right tool today, I was able to get cache and sign log. Met Amy and her mum playing in the playground. But special thanks to Amy's brother, for pointing out to me, where the cache was hidden. Thanks Geomatica for the cache. I see that you had a first find out at Prospect last week. Well done!
Cheers

Capellaman- Found today while coming past,on the way home, gps was not steady at first, went for a walk along the area, was about to give up and spotted the odd thing out.Thought i was in for a shocking experience, but everythink ok, maybe it looks to new? TFTC, SL.

17-May-10
After I arrived at GZ I realized that I had been here before. After checking the logs I discovered that it was Jun 26, 09. This time I had a hint on what type of TOTT that I would need to get to the log. I didn't have a hint as to what the cache looked like so I still had to do some searching. This time it didn't take too long and I was able to claim the smiley. Good hide Amy and TFTC.

11-May-10
Second find on a lunchtime caching run around Chatswood. Found the container reasonably quickly and had come prepared, hoever had to improvise as I didn't have the ideal sized tool. Enjoyed this imaginative hide. TNLN

11-May-10
Bummer here. I spotted the cache container from about 50' but as luck would have it, I left my tool bag back in California. Knowing I needed a tool, I brought a spoon and a corkscrew from my hotel room, but neither did the trick.....Perhaps I'll email the owner and beg for mercy after explaining where I believe the cache log is located...Too bad I wasn't there when Little Ravens showed up on the scene.....Thanks Geomatica for all your hides in the area....I enjoyed my hike today. Regards, tv

Ahhh finally my multi-purpose keyring pen knife tool set comes in handy. TFTC

03-May-10
A relatively easy find, once I was on the correct side of the road.
As usual, the trusty leatherman multi-tool was on my belt, so I had a good range of "tools" on hand to solve the cache.
I like hides that are in plain view, yet still hidden.
Tftc

01-May-10
Found at 4.45pm GAFF1. We were warned about the difficulty of this cache by Cachefinders 2, but on arrival we were able to walk straight upto the hide as it looked quite conspicuous - and the owner was there giving us "hot & cold" type assistance!
Nice hide and glad it is back in action. That little marcupial certainly isn't looking too well.
Thanks Geomatica - not sure why this wasn't logged at the time.

01-May-10
Our last cache before heading to the nearby event. We had the needed equipment in the car fortunately. A large rat was sat near to the cache and had no intention of moving. At one point we thought it was the cache until it's tail moved!
Cheers,
The Hancock Clan

The cache is being rebuilt and is due for installation in the next few days.

It is in the exact same location. I was even able to use the same screw holes!

24-Dec-09
New work commitments for the past few months and the year ahead and in conjunction with a few other issues has resulted in my commitment and enthusiasm to wane in maintaining this cache.

I am more than happy for someone else to adopt it if they choose. Contact me should anyone wish to take this cache further.

11-Dec-09
I have seen a few of these, but this was cleverly located. Wal had the correct implement, and I acted as blocker for the muggle party goers and muggle council worker. SL TNLN TFTH

10-Dec-09
On the way to work this morning and noticed out of the corner of my eye that the cache was not there. Stopped for a visual and sure enough, gone.

Wow... Really shocked and surprised... The guy across the road works for Energy Australia and he knew it existed, as he does the maintainence in the street.

Amy will be crushed... Will see about this and perhaps put it back a little later.

06-Dec-09
Actually it was a Mothers Group Kids Christmas Party.

I saw you Guys approach and knew you were looking for it. I was going to come over, but I could not drag myself away from the BBQ and acting as photographer.

Well done thought. I am glad you enjoyed Amy's Cache.

05-Dec-09
A baby muggle birthday part was just starting right near the Gz, but Rudi63 and myself, was able to locate and extract the cache, without being seen. What a wonderful hide. Luckily we had the necessary equipment. TFTH, SL, TNLN

01-Dec-09
After frustraiting GM with my first cache "...and World Peace" today I thought I'd give him the chance to repay the favour by going after a 4.0 of his. Unfortunately I have seen this hide type before and got it real quick... Big Grin. Love the extra effort and contemplated nicking the cache tube and reporting a muggling... but I thought he'd get sus when he spotted it in my next hide hahaha. Log is nearly full... TFTC GM!

25-Oct-09
Dodging the rain clouds we soon had this cache in sight.
Something about the hide was in the 'just not right' category, and satanas 666 quickly had the cache in hand, thanks to his 255 piece Swiss Army knife!
Thanks for the cache hunt Geomatica.

04-Oct-09
Hmmmmm, very tricky... TFTC

04-Oct-09
Sneaky hide. Found with O319. Too wet to play in the playground unfortunately. TFTC TLNL

19-Sep-09
Found at 0640. Luckily I came prepared for just about anything, and after spotting the cache, I went back to the car to grab a couple of things, and a moment later I signed the log.
If Amy hides things around the house like this then there could be hundreds of things hidden anywhere.
It makes for fun treasure hunt though.

Thanks.

I've been meaning to do this Cache for ages now and this morning presented the opportunity. I was there nice and early, probably about when Amy was tucking into her breakfast. The Geomobile made good cover while I did the caching duties. Nice one Amy on a well made hide, keep them coming

TFTCSL Cool

Quite liked this one- have seen these before but it just blended in really well in this location. Parked the car right next to the cache and used that as a bit of a cover. Good work! TFTC!

Am(y)azing, this one is superb!!
We actually in the end found it more by accident, because my boyfriend didn't give up and is so clever Razz !
Because our GPS was a bit of we first check in a few other places and luckily we didn't destroy anything else.
I haven't seen a sneakier one yet; it really needs mor of them.
I am sooo happy over this cache! Very Happy

Hehehe.... Dodgy!
Didn't SL. No muggles, luckly.
Very nice.
Pure luck I had my bike multitool, cause I didn't plan to be here today.

Amy needs to make more dodgy ones like that Razz

26-Aug-09
What a very clever hide! Stumped me at first, then I spotted the little clue that gave the game away - very subtle! No one was about so I quickly grabbed the log and signed it in the park before popping it back in place. Very creative and clever cache, TFTC Amy and Geomatica Smile

24-Aug-09
125 - I came equipped for the task and without a muggle in sight I quickly had the prize in hand! Nice little hide. TFTC

15-Aug-09
I had visited this cache once before, knew what to expect and had come properly equipped. What I didn't realise is that I wasn't going to need to make use of my preparations. I drove up and found three people at GZ - incredibly unlikely unless they were cachers. I ducked across the road and introduced myself to strike-a-light, blossom* and mother and was able to take advantage of their find.

15-Aug-09
Yep - beaten to the logging part again! I loved this cache, very clever idea geomatica. Oh, and that clever little Amy too Big Grin In the bright morning light it was pretty easy to see what we were doing and also that it was the place we were supposed to be doing it. So it was just a moment's work to retrieve the log book and sign. Second fellow cacher meeting for the day which was great too. Not a lot of room but we managed to leave a Firewise badge Smile

15-Aug-09
Nice park, the longest time taken was finding a scew driver. TFTC

09-Aug-09
Luckily I had Richary with me he is very versitlie in these situations.

09-Aug-09
I drive past this spot most afternoons on the way home from work, and today with SA_Parrothead along for the ride it was time to stop and grab it. Nobody in the park luckily or would have looked less conspicuous with the work car and safety vest. Nice quick find, signed and onwards. Thanks Geomatica.

08-Aug-09
Quick find, although I had already walked past it. Probably quick because the recent discussion makes it clear what sort of thing I was looking for. I was surprised to be able to retrieve it at 4:30pm on a Saturday with only one slight disturbance.

27-Jul-09
Mr Ozjeeper tried this one on his way home from work and was glad to have the cover or darkness to do what was necessary to retrieve and replace this cache. From the cache description, he knew what to expect and so he came prepared with thre necessary tools.

Amy, you need to get your Dad to tell you about fire (which can burn you) and hot water (which can scald you). But more importantly, you need to get him to tell you about electricity. That's because you can't see it, you cant smell it and you can't hear it. It just doesn't burn or scald you - it can give you a nasty injury or it can even kill you!

Hiding things is great, isn't it? Although when you get to our age they automatically hide themselves (or perhaps it's just that you can't remember where you put them!).

Hiding things in something that looks like something you shouldn't interfere with and then getting other people to take these things apart isn't really a great idea.

One day one of your geocaching friends might think they need to do this at another geocache hide, open something they shouldn't and (at best) receive a really nasty surprise or (at worst) find themselves not being able to geocache anymore.

Perhaps that's something you should have a think about before placing any more similar caches.

27-Jul-09
In order to address posted concerns, the cache has been altered to ward off any potential deliberations as to cache container.

If we all think about it, who has every seen any Energy Australia or other electricity utility putting components within easy access of the Public? To do so would be negligent.

This should clear up any misconceptions about the cache container being a live object.

24-Jul-09
Attempted this one at night and after looking around at some objects I was pretty sure I had found the right spot. But I didn't have the item of special significance in my car, so will have to come back another day to confirm my suspicions.

09-Jul-09
I spent way too long looking in the wrong spot as my coords had me a bit off. After elliminating all the possibles, I spotted a likely spot.
A clever hide that seems to be getting more popular. Thanks

04-Jul-09
soo, after my third visit I can finally log this one. first, I checked out the location and had a look around but could not decide to "engage" and fiddle around with the "options". then I came back to check out the alternatives after work but there were just too many muggles! then, at 5:30 am I came back today and had the peace to check it out carefully and was rewarded with the cache.
thanks a lot, beaki

Ohm my god, what a sneeky hide. Equiped with the right terminal equipment I conducted a succesful search to reveal the cache in its hiding spot. Well thought out, thanks Amy. TNLNSL, TFTC.

No luck with this one. Maybe next time. TFTH

13-Jun-09
Was also tumbled by Geomatica and met Amy. Was assured the cache was safe but alas my tool did not fit. So returned after dark. Well past Amy's bed time but suprisingly still many muggles about. Got the cache cracked. Thanks Geomatica.

09-Jun-09
I was on the way to Chatswood when I suddenly remembered that there was a cache hidden in the location. Pulled into the street only to find a Telstra tech working nearby. A quick scout around soon had the cache located and retrieved.
I must say that this is a very unusual but pleasantly rewarding cache.

Thanks Amy or should I say Geomatica.

Amy, you have done a wonderful job. You seem to very dexterous for someone of your age. Loved the cache, a lot of work has gone into creating this. Keep up the good work on creating high quality caches close to us.

I was here Friday morning, but realised that the tool I had was of the wrong size.
Very clever hide, even if you could see it almost immediately. Just a tad skeptical about this kind of hides - one day someone may unveil a wrong one by mistake, and be in for a real shock.

06-Jun-09
Ha! Took me ages to work up the courage to open this one. Obvious, but with enough detail to make me doubt that it could be true.
