Leaning a big lesson - printed this off before checking it was still there . Wasted huge amount of time on and very hot day - Hated being in this position !Scream
It's gone, so now is a good time to archive and make area available for another cache.
Searched every tree within about 20metres (including little shrubbery) for a good 30 minutes... Couldn't find it!
Searched for ages and ages in every place we could think it could possibly be in and were unsucessfull. Added to my watchlist.
Tried on a Friday afternoon (15-10-10), but WAY too many muggles around so i left with plans to re-visit at a later date. Tried again on night of 7th Nov not realising it had been archived! So this caching business is not just about stealth, it's about speed - clearly!
Some people can't see the wood for the trees - or maybe they can't see the trees for the wood!
First today - grey cool Christchurch Sunday morning. Out before many people rising today!! TFTC
We walked and we walked and the energy levels were definitely going down (I'd swam a km prior to walking). Guardians created images of statues but the GPS took us past the lot. However it was a nice walk and the guardians have loads of character and the hiding place was very clever.
TFTC - SL
Interesting location - a few running muggles and a kayaking one as well but able to get and replace no trouble.

A few odd looks from the gaggle of teenage girls nearby but a pretty easy find. TFTC
Just a quick one in the dark after visiting the princess in hospital...

Start of a late afternoon walk through Christchurch. Found quickly, was slightly exposed so looked to cover a little better.
Found as a part of Team McWindeluneX7 as we buzzed around the CBD in the evening, thanks Troodles.
4th find for the day and 4th NZ cache! Quick grab while doing a bit of night caching in Chch.
Thanks for the cache.

(205) Another nice easy cache in town.. Can get close to alot of others but far to many muggles around.. TFTC, SL.
Found it together with quantaplanckix on the last day of our two and a half month visit to New Zealand.
Wazza conned his Wench (Cheryl) and Wenchette (BBTD) into fueling their broomsticks and we all headed 'over the ditch' for a caching holiday.
While the Wench took a few photos of the Wenchette I quickly found the cache and signed the log.
Thanks Troodles.

I've been wondering whether you could drive a jetski up this river. It would be fun buzzing under all the bridges.
However you'd probably take out a few ducks who seem to enjoy drifting downstream.
I don't think the local constabulary would appreciate it either.
Nice spot to perambulate. Thanks.

Found early in the monring but still had to dodge many muggles all rushing off to work. Think I managed to sneak it out, sign the cache and put it back with only the seagulls watching me!! My first cache in the South Island - OK Mainland then!!! TFTC
I Found this cache with my sister, she has given me a list of every cache I have done with here that i have not logged, TFTC A special thanks to Gracie7 + Mum for the Log List
went caching with my two sisters, this was one of my first to find's, was the hardest Ive had yet
We had surveyors within 5 meters as muggles to contend with, so Mrs Eraserman pretended to retie her shoe laces whilst cache was retrived. No problem at all as cache was actually visible from 10 meters. Hide a bit better when replacing.

Another find for Mrs. Dachs. We spent more time waiting on muggles and giving directions to the punting than we did finding. TFTC.

Easy find. A few healthy muggles out and about. So we have to wait for a bit before we can put it back. TFTC.
Found it whilst on a day trip cruising on the Queen Victoria. Met fellow cachers, Mistcube. Had a chat and they gave us some advice about other caches in the area. Nice people.
Nice serene little spot even with the nearby end of day traffic scurrying past.
Quick easy find.

It was going to be a quick stop on the way to cricket this morning, but at gz there was someone still drinking from the night before. The youngest suggested we call back after cricket and this time it was a quick find, with no one about Found by the youngest. TNLN TFTC.
found on a huge day of caching with about 10 teen agers. they were getting an introdutuion to walking long distance and finding hidden treasures. once found they all had turns at signing the log book . there were a couple of kids from overseas. we were in Christchurch for the St John international youth festival, held in and around chch in cluding Hanmer springs
