Smurfyguy & I tried to find this one for best part of an hour. No luck, may have been muggled. Will try later. Thanks anyway.
I love these old steam engines, and I even managed to give Wal a lesson on how this old steamer worked....Wet hot fog is great TFTH...SL....TNLN
7:35pm Lots of middle aged women perambulating the paths around here this evening.
Nice easy find under the not so watchful eyes of a nearby group.
Interesting piece of gear. Don't make 'em like they used ta! I wonder why the front wheels are cambered out like that?
TNLN. Thanks for bringing me to another great spot.

Stop no.2 on the run with Sgt.Rios88. with eyes locked on the GZ and no muggles in sight this one was quickly bagged, while looking one way my hand brushed the cache and with keen predator like instincts i knew instantly it was the cache or something else that shouldn't be there... lucky for me it was the cache TN Left my bullet TFTC
left our trademark bullet in the cache sgt.salem with his eyes like a hawk found this one was quick in seeing it i missed it
This was fun, had to play in the park for awhile as there were muggles picnicing. I had alot of fun finding this one. lol TFTC
nicely placed,
a fascinating old piece of machinery (circa 1885!) - my son could not work out where the driver sat...

I took 2 attempts at this one. The first time I was there I couldn't shake a car of muggles watching me so I left and returned a few hours later to find the cache exactly where I thought it was. TNLN. TFTC!
Team Zetahoff found this one this morning. Plenty of Muggles around, but were able to get it back in place just fine. Congratulate us on our FIRST FIND!! Lot's of fun!
9:10am.
Saw from a distance (200m) the significance of the Cache name. Nice one.
My Scarpa boots were just high and watertight enough to walk across the weir - fun but 1 slip....
No one around but can imagine how hard it would be on a muggle weekend.

I actually told GeoDad and GeoBro that this would be a great place for a cache 2 weeks ago while they were looking for Weir Are We .... I am really clever at this!
I met my first Travel Bug here which Braelair is taking of to Queensland on his trip. Really good timing!

Another great hide by Rainbow Spirit. Had it quickly in hand today, just one gran-muggle pushing youngster on the swing to worry about! Logged and returned and moved onto the next site. 4 of 5 for today!

This was an easy first find it took s while but eventusly i found it. nice hide.
On our way to find Weir are We, walked right past this site ... youngest stated that the site would be a perfect spot for a GC, we all laughed and said it would be a bit too obvious ... who's wearing the egg on their face now!.
Going back for a real look in a few days!
Going back for a real look in a few days!
Found first look. This one only had obout 150 potential hiding places. No muglers about as it was only 8,30 am Did this one while Mrs Garnets was visiting cardioligist so I had a time limit. TFTC Rainbow Spirit

Did this one early in the morning to avoid any muggles, took a few minutes to locate this but once in hand it all made sense.

It's great that these antiques are put to good use after their work days are over. It would be nice if the parks people would give a bit of information about them though. TNLNSL Thank you for the interesting history, and for the cache Rainbow Spirit!
There were heaps of people around as I went looking for this one. School holidays I guess.
I just did the rail enthusiast thing and nobody took any notice of me.
I was having trouble finding it so made a quick phone a friend to RAGs.
While we were chatting I found it so I'll take full credit for the find.
Thanks for the cache,
I had considered putting one here myself.

With plenty of workers nearby I was thinking I'd have trouble here, but weren't even interested in my movements.
Thanks

Grabbed this one at 6.45am on the way through to work, took coin and left 3 scout badges.
I saw the location while at work the day before and thought what a great spot for a cache, checked the web and wasn't surprised to see there was one here.
Thanks for the cache Rainbow Spirit

Great park for the locals, with an interesting feature. Bushy2233 found it pretty quick, TFTC

Found @ 2230, Quick find after the Last All Steamed up Cache, Looked in the usual spots and come up with the win tftc, Left Canadian Coin
On an overnight caching trip through South Western Sydney. I have developed a habbit of walking up to these old machinces and putting my hand straight in and on the cache. They still give you the oh no not another one feeling. All quite in the park around 11pm.
JABs.

Next time I go on a caching trip with JABs and we come across one of these hides i'm not even going to get out of the car.
This is not the first one that he has walked straight up to and found in the first place he put his hand.

15.40... What a very clever trick to hide the cache!!! Took sevabo and me for a while to find it. Also there were lots of muggles doing their business at the picnic and played at playground. TFTH
Thanks to the camera again and found it for us. not easy but found it anyway. Thanks Rainbow Spirit for organising the hunt.
Gave this one a bit of a search today including finding a spot that matched the hint quite well. But couldn't come up with the cache. After about 10 minutes decided to return to the car and get the torch to see if that would help, but then a junior muggle decided to sit on the thing so had to give up. Interesting contraption though. Thanks.
As noted by Geomatica, this is not the ideal cache for a night visit owing to the local 'riff raff' making this their drinking 'hole'.
So sad really......

quick easy find, and it would want to be. this place is not the place to be at night. I don't know how many shadows I saw moving about in the distance, but it was enough for me to make a quick getaway.
Why do people have to come to places like this for a drink?

Found with great excitement . I was worried that this trip was going to be a washout after Geocaghing.com decided not to play the game over the weekend,
All was well an Monday but work meant that I had to wait until today to get out and about.
It is a shame to see the rain here and not at home where it is badly needed. Not all of Southeast QLD is wet. I might be buying water next week.
Still finding challenginging caches is always good [^][^]

NICE HIDE

I walked over the weir to get to this one - that was fun. Nice clever hide. TFTC.
After we waited out the muggles Chip made the find within seconds, left me feeling a little useless to be honest!
Cheers

When hoojar and I arrived, the cache location was crawling with pubescent emo teenages.
so we decided that we'd walk Ding up to the bridge and back and when we got back they had left.
I thought about the clue and we soon had the cache in hand.
Cheers.

This was a Rainbow spirit double for the day,and seem to following some vikings around, any way no need to get steamed up cache soon retrieved from its hiding hole and a little bit tricky to get it back in to its right spot.Had a great time climbing up on it...TFTC..
Woo Hoo! another ruffasgutts4x4 FTF, this one was most unexpected as I had little to no reason to leave the office today, Thanks to it's proximity to work and Lunchtime I managed to hot tail it down here in time for an FTF. Expected the FTF to be taken by the time I arrived but what do you know!
This is a good example of an old Steam engine, and I was pleasantly surprised by it's condition.
Thanks for bringing us here Rainbow Spirit

Found 14:00 – I knew I should have done this one first this morning. Reads like I was only beaten to the FTF honor by a few hours. Well it is a nice park to sit and have lunch. TNLN. Thanks.
