I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, ~Tango~, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs. The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance). If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on. When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided. If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia

I attempted to find on a trip to the west from South Australia.

I last visited and cached in this area around three years ago, but there have been plenty of new caches of interest to me since then, so I thought a return visit was in order.

After camping at the Porongorups last night, I made my way to Albany, hunting out a few target caches.

Unfortunately I was unable to find this cache.

Thanks anyway ~Tango~.

After a scoot around yesterday evening while all was quite, we had a look at the photos and checked out the old buildings along the Terrace.
Such Olde world charm.
After doing some number crunching, last night, we came up with some co-ords, though a little hesitant about the placement of gz, but we were happy to come up trumps with the cache in hand for a smiley here today.
A fav point for the history Smile)

Hi there ~Tango~.

We found your cache **"London to Edinburgh via Stirling"** at 12:03:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 23925).

We're staying in Albany for a few days, and today we decided to attempt a few caches around the Port and town area.. We found 5 caches & DNF'd 0.

Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thank you ~Tango~ for adding to our adventure.

Regards

Ian & Penny

Found while visiting Albany on my Christmas road trip.
I enjoyed the walk from London to Edinburgh, and back, and then back again, collecting all the clues.
I stopped and had a break to solve the final coordinates before I realised I hadn't collected YZ. It took me another full walk to London and back before I realised I had been literally right next to it where I'd stopped before!
I couldn't find the cache at the final coordinates on my first attempt. But after double checking and checking the hint I came back early the next morning when it was much quieter and soon found it this time.
Thanks for a great cache.

We did the hard work for this one using street view. It took forever. We would have done it by just walking the street while down here.
The cache coordinates were good and we found the cache easily.
Thanks for the interesting cache idea.

YES!
After wanting to get around to doing this cache since I upgraded to premium I finally set off this morning on a bike ride caching trip with this one on my list. This was the last find of the day and took a little while. After the penny dropped with the name (which took wayyy to long) we seemed to be racking up numbers rather quickly. Always love the suspense when you go to the cords you worked out praying there is a cache there. A massive sigh of relief when we saw the little cache hidden all snug.

Last time we were in Albany we ran out of time to do this one as intended, but since then we had used some modern technology to help us with our calculations Big Grin We got stuck on one but the location was narrowed down considerably! After having a pub lunch not far from here we decided to go take a look see & whattya know, we pulled up right next to the correct location (according to the hint). Jase was able to retrieve the logbook & add our names before continuing on to see what else we could find around here Wink

Suscoe was having an Albany day today.
The morning started out warm and muggy but by late afternoon some cloud rolled in and it looked misty across the hills and bay.
We had a delightful time wandering the streets and roads of the Albany area finding a range of caches and taking in the old town, the harbour redevelopment and the nearby countryside.
It is certainly a pretty town and we met a few friendly folks on our travels.
Thanks to tangowithcupcake for this really interesting look at the historical buildings.
We made the journey from London to Edinburgh via Stirling without too many hiccups.
Then we sat admiring the harbour while we did the sums.
Cache found promptly at GZ.
A favourite for all the right reasons.
What great old buildings.

I set about finding this cache a few days ago, but failed miserably due to the 'smart phone' being such a useless item for displaying pictures in daylight Red Face

So I headed back to camp and 'cheated' Razz

A certain online company who's name begins in G,
has wonderful photos and information available online to provide all the info about traveling from London to Edinburgh that you could ever need Big Grin

Today I was back on Stirling on the bike.
Me coords for this caches hiding spot had a confidence factor of 11 out of 10.
A previous finder's piccy satisfied me that me coords were the right ones Big Grin

So from the bike I headed to a spot that I had virtually visited already [:o]
And there in the first place I looked,
I found the cache Big Grin

TFTC and a bit of history to boot [^]
Easy find on a Sunday morning !!
But I can't help feeling that there is something fishy about this cache [:o]

Oh dear, have fallen behind on my logging, again. Found this one on my last Albany trip. Having gone up and down this street innumberable times, I thought it was about time to find this cache. Have to admit I found it using unorthadox means though. Thanks for the cache ~Tango~

Find 13 of 30 on a road trip from Denmark to Albany and surrounds.
Mrs. O., for a change, liked the look of this puzzle. She solved it as a desk-based exercise before our trip down. Our GZ didn't seem to add up when we arrived though, so we had to do some rapid re-calculations and came up with a better one which we had passed on foot earlier on today. At this second GZ a quick find was made.

Day one of our week in Albany and spent most of the day walking around the centre of town before a mid afternoon rest and then a leisurely drive around the harbour picking up a few caches and doing some recon for the next few days

We really enjoy this type of cache as it gets you to really look at the buildings and understand some of the history and architecture. This cache was no different and we had a great time traveling from London to Edinburgh with a stop in Glasgow on the way. We fell into a bit of a trap in Glasgow but worked that out and had some final co-ords for GZ which proved to be OK.

Thanks for the cache tangowithcupcake [^] - a favourite point for an enjoyable discovery of Albany (despite all the scaffolding Wink)

Cool!!! Love these clue search caches! Found it with Hally4

10-Sep-14
This was quite an entertaining cache. We located some facades easily and others presented more of a challenge. We walked the area three or four times before we managed to gain all the information we needed. We were even asked by one of the local workman if we needed any help as he was concerned we were lost! From there the calculations were made and we were on our way to GZ where we made a quick find thanks to the clue. Few muggles about so retrieval and return was quite simple.
Thanks for the effort and time that has gone into creating this cache, even down to the name. A very worthwhile activity that took us round the historical buildings in the area and encouraged us to examine it more closely. Our modern shopping complexes just don't seem to have the soul that this area does.

We had all day today to find a few more caches while staying in Albany for a few days.
Lots of clues for this one and once I had the info it was a hasty dash to GZ.
Hardly any muggles around and a good safe hide again.
Thanks for the cache again tangowithcupcake,

While in Albany visiting my daughter, son in law and the kids we found time to take this walk along the forshore and discover some of the old buildings in Albany. Really enjoyed this short and made the very quick find at the end. Checked out the PO cache at the same time. This morning it was topped of with coffee and cake opposite the WA University while enjoying at looking at some of the local art work.
Thanks for the cache tangowithcupcake and the event.

The first full day in Albany with BettyBoo3747. The weather was a bit indifferent, soaking and baking us at various times, but always warmish.
We went up and down many hills that we were very glad we weren't on the deadly treadlies!
We had actually solved this one at home, but walked up and down the street and checked out all the old facades anyway.
Interesting spot for GZ - we were glad it was a Sunday morning and so fairly quiet.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 5834. Robmc and I arrived in Albany late yesterday so today is our first full day trying to locate caches in strange weather. One moment rain, the next moment sunshine. I could be home in Melbourne for this weather.....

The first of your caches for me - I am sure there will be many more to come. This one was solved before we came over here but I love this old street (I have been here many years ago). A stroll past all the diggings and off to GZ we go. A nice quick find of a rather blatant hide. I like those!!

Thanks tangowithcupcake
