I have to archive as I can not get down to maintain the cache and it will free up a space for others in the area.

Almost didn't need the GPSr once the general cache area came into sight. As soon as we saw the surrounds we knew what to look for.

After retrieving the cache and trying to re-roll the log sheet, a car pulled up opposite and the driver called out "have you found it?". Apparently the driver lives locally and works for one part of a local caching team so he knows all about the sport and this particular spot. A couple of people standing on the footpath pretending to admire the view of the cloudy hills just said "cacher" to him. Smile

Found @1715 today. A memorable location for me as I spent about 10 days at this motel during the storm event that smashed Kingscliff and Mur'bah in Jan 2002. I am with SES and spent time up there helping out. 1500 jobs were generated by that one storm. Massive event. Great fun for SES but not for the residents. Thanks for bringing me back. Great hide as stated in plain sight!
I was 2nd to sign the obviously new log sheet. BUT the cache will not fully close and the log may end up getting damp!

Didn't look hard enough to claim a DNF. As I pulled up, a small yappy went off in a top room of the motel (huh?). This brought the owners to the window, and they had a good line in "glare". I had only a cursory look and didn't spot the cache. Thanks for the hunt, 1uzferunner.

Big GrinOur second weekend cashe hunting and loving the hunts. We confided in our cache hunting secret with a few of our like minded friends and they couldn't wait to join the search. 16 (6A & 10K) people on a quiet county surburban street trying to be discreet was hilareous. We loved this simple but very interesting cache, all worked in well together with a very great cache. Thanks for the thought!!

Approached by a muggle here wanting to know if we had good insulation in our house. Some government scheme to save power and hand out freebies. Said our insulation was good. Although more Australian than he was we currently live in a very eastern state! Nice camo. Thanks.

What a great cache and a great hide. I had no idea what the clues meant but figured them out after I found the cache. Signed last spot on one side of log, but still room on the other side of the paper. Arrived around 2:10pm and had time to do the other one in Murwillumbah and also your other one Environ Speed. TFTC's.

Found at 5:20pm. Was following GPSr to GZ and checking different spots along the way. Once the clue became clear it was an easy find. This is the smallest cache we have ever found and we struggled to put roll of paper back into the cache. We filled in the 2nd last spot on the roll so it will need to be replaced. TFTC
