TFTC Freddo your cache Mysterious Yorke that we found today. We are parked up in the local Showgrounds/Caravan Park for a few nights. After setting up and a bite to eat we ventured out to attempt the caches in town and nearby. The Seahorse will wait until tomorrow. A good few hours doing the things we love - exploring and caching. An easy solve on the fly.Find Count: 17821

Here we are, the 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN and myself) hit the beautiful Yorkes Peninsula again.
This time we are targeting the Sea Horse series of caches and is often the case with us, no doubt there will be a few other bonus caches along the way.
A typical day out for us now, going hard for caches but truckloads of trash-talk, banter and laughs
All caches located & stamped, and most importantly, maintenance performed where needed.

Another 3 Stooges (Cheezel1961, WayneAPN, weredunn4) road trip to Yorkes to target the SeaHorse letterbox series, and a few more along the way, plus bakeries raided, carbs consumed, and the usual plethora of tomfoolery that comes with road trips.

“Damn Freddo” didn’t find it but in our defence CherryRose and I thought we’d err on the side of caution on a 35deg day and not push the envelope with all the grass and undergrowth. We did poke around a bit and trampled down some of the undergrowth but the thought of snakes was just a bit too much. Maybe we can come back in colder weather.
If I’m not mistaken, this cache is my 200th freddo cache.
With mild temperatures this weekend, I decided it would be a good time to visit the Yorke Peninsula before heart of snake season. Thankfully no snakes sighted today.
Found without problems.
Thanks for the cache Damn Freddo.

Today, the weather was forecast to be dismal with thunderstorms and a rain drenching! Consequently, gridge98 and I retreated to the more dry vicinity of Upper Yorke Peninsula. Other than a few drizzles, we had good weather. We visited Paskeville, Kadina, Moonta, Balgowan, Point Pearce, Maitland, and Arthurton, with highlights of the mining relics, 4WD-ing along the west coast beach, and finally dinner and heading around Maitland. A long day out and about, arriving home just after midnight.
No concerns with the Jeep driving this track today, and the cache was found reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Damn [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today With the weather more promising on the yorke peninsula than in Adelaide, Davidwazza and I decided to head over and clean out as much as we could as well as doing quite a bit of beach 4wdriving.
In total 87 finds within 1 DNF for the day.

Had to go visit the Yorke so made sure to find a couple of caches along the way.
This was one of them
It was a mystery what I was doing on the Yorke.
I puzzled myself.
That's almost as crazy as googling yourself.
Hey Cache! Found ya.

Imagine a Michelin starred pastry chef with a cookie cutter, creating almost identical delicious treats. Could human beings be made in a similar fashion? Our uniqueness is recognised and appreciated. We are the result of a creative process that produces a myriad of tweaks, versions and inversions of a common, brilliant theme. Following the new moon in your sign, don't make the mistake of thinking that other people's rules apply to you. Big changes are due between now and the next full moon.
Yay for a puzzle I can solve. First find of a huge caching weekend on YP. TFTC Freddo.

Thrilled to finally get a smiley for this one - not the container type i was expecting, given the puzzle's instructions. Tftc Freddo
Owl was in the area for a history weekend and it could have become a song - on the second day of Yorke, geocaching gave to me... 26 lovely finds, 1 DNF, 6 needed multis, 2 unknowns, 1 bull ant bite, numerous scratches and a hole in the owlmobile! Owl has had this solution sitting in her GPS for over 5 years now, so it was nice to finally get it off her books. Of course, Murphy's Law being what it is, it took a long time to find and she nearly gave up, then had one last look and saw the thing staring her in the face!
Have had this solved for a looong time.
A quick find by a scurrying rat. Tftc

Another day on the Yorke with the Rat seeking more smilies in this part of our state. The weather was a tad cool and a sprinkle of H2O failed to dampen our spirits. Another puzzle that the Adders could solve (we like these), after a little search it was espied by the eagle eyed Rat in a spot that we had already searched. Another fun cache by the Great Frog. TFTC

Day 4
Last full day on the York. With the end in sight of the big trail we pushed on and managed to clear it off the map. This gave us some spare time to cache some more around other towns in this area
Found with sharkiefan
A Big week was planned to travel around South Australia, staying in Minlaton, Tarlee and Adelaide. We cache along a number of Trails, managed to grab a few off the beaten track, some well known caches and the odd one that
came up on the map as we were travelling around.
It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 104 and 76 (yep thats 1411 for the 8 days)

Today is day 4 of our 8 day caching trip to SA. Today's goal is to finish the Gone Fishn' series and then take a look around some of the towns. This was one of 318 caches found today.
This was a much more enjoyable day as the end of the trail was in sight.
It's a lovely area and we were happy to get to see more of it.
Apologies for the generic log, if there were any issues with the cache, it'll be mentioned at the start of my log.

It's surprising how easy it is to read something backwards, or is it just because as a teacher I had to decipher some dreadful handwriting over the years? At least this was even, spaced correctly, spelt correctly, tidy, just back to front! Good one Freddo.
On the way back from the southern Yorke Peninsula to Adelaide, we stopped to look for this cache. It took a few minutes of hunting before this cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Freddo.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we toured from Maitland to Ardrossand and the countryside nearby. Lovely weather with no rain, with temps of approx 14degrees all day.
Loved seeing the towns and the impressive historic signs and walk trails.
blimey a puzzle we could solve last night after a few drinks before heading out today.

What a fantastic couple of days! [^]
Sunday and Monday I enjoyed the company of RideTheGeoWalrus and Clare007 as we cached in an area that I have not cached in before.....therefore I enjoyed what is now a rare concept for me......not having to dodge previously found caches in order to find a cache to locus cache on
We found dust, mud, caches, views, trees and lots of laughs as we drove around and exhausted ourselves doing 115 smileys with 9 DNFs (although we went back later and got finds on several of these DNFs) and one event attended...with only us three there It's always good to CITO!
With CO's permissions, we also did quite a bit of cache maintenance as many logs were full or wet or both and several containers were broken or missing.
If any CO whose cache we visited really wants their old log back, then email me and I will try and work out which old log it is and return it to you.
Wow! A puzzle that even I could solve......that's a rarity!
At this time of year, I am not sure that Mysterious Yorke applies.... I think it is pretty Yorke!

The hardest decision was do we go left or right?
Not a hard decision to mae when there is more than one person cachng.

Pleased as punch we were to find this one as it made our 600th find. Gee the caching is good here in SA - it was only a few days ago we were celebrating our 500th at Wilpena. Though this was a puzzle D reckons he'd have preferred an Enigma challenge but hey, a puzzle's a puzzle. Don't know what's happened to all those TB's though - I think they've all walked, but a couple dropped in with us for a visit.
South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today we were traveling on the Yorke Peninsula, the original destination for this trip. We spent the whole day and went from Kadina to Pt Victoria. We went via as many of the towns as possible along the way. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day.
Thanks.

Had fun sorting this one before leaving home.....certainly learnt something, just not sure if I ever use it.
Grabbed with Albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

Found while being chaufered home through the back-streets of Yorke Peninsula by a 16 yo on his L-plates. It took four hours instead of three to get from Wool Bay to the Hills, but four hours driving experience and six caches makes everyone happy. Thanks Freddo!
A big Central YP day out with e.gregory1, EsromL and 3 CoC's. This was find #26 of 29
York is indeed quite mysterious as this was our 15 mystery for the day

This was our 8th of 17 finds today - and we found it at around 12:55.
(So this is our 4282nd total find.)
Found really quickly after slippin' an' slidin' around on some of the lesser dirt roads in the rain today.
Really sad to see that all the trackables are gone.
Took: Nothing
Left: Water Pistol
Thanks Freddo for the hunt today.

A slight diversion to pick up this one on my way to a meeting at Maitland today. Thanks Freddo for the cache.
8255 Mysterious Yorke is a mystery no more, an enjoyable fun puzzle and an amazing area to visit.
Many thanks for the cache Freddo

An enjoyable caching day around mid and west of Peninsula...searched a while before found the fruit container which was replaced by Liz and Bruce however the animals have eaten holes around the container and bit of logbook was eaten by a couple of snails so we replaced it with another cache and new logbook, shame about ammo and all trackables gone missing. Thanks Damn Freddo.
Sorry to say we think the original container has gone missing. We had a good look around and widened our search to no avail. We replaced with a fruit container at gz. Thanks Freddo
Same comment as bek-theraccoon.
Came back again the next day with crank1.
Thanks

We went for a trip to the Yorkes mostly to find this cache, but no success. Alex-thesquirrel and I looked for a good half hour and found a likely spot which matched the coords but no success. The whole roadside has been cut back by council, so we suspect the cache is no longer there.
Please verify whether cache is still in place
Thanks Freddo

YP Family Holiday Day 2 - Three Challenge Me team members and a muggle friend for this trip (CM2 - me; CM3 - niece, CM4 - daughter, M1).
Another one on my "to do" list - we LOVED this cache, great location, nice easy puzzle and fantastic to be able to discover so many TB's. We were all impressed with the cache container too. M1 got her second find, now she's hooked..
Thanks for the hunt.

Found by Mary & David at 0950. Thought this was TB Hotel, then realised ... ! Paddocks of broad beans and peas everywhere. met up with a lot of locals the other night, so now we know all about the local agricultural processes. Our thanks again to Damn Freddo.
It was great to find a big ammo box among other smaller ones. L shrek, took girl. TFTC
Found on an enjoyable sunny winters day with IRAC- and Jeremiah Bullfrog. I was once a teacher and teachers soon discover that they can read most things from what ever angle. Thanks
Solved reasonably quickly - what does that say about me

Like at least one other cacher I couldn't solve this one so drove around looking for likely places. I found one other cache not too far away and then I drove down here and and what do you know! Interesting collection of JPs and UNs. sknahT to odderF for the cache.
Sadly, it is!
I know there is some plain obvious method of solving it but for some reason I just can see it!
It will seam so clear when I see it but I just can't
Its so frustrating!!!!

I was rather suprised when I found this one!
Tried to solve the puzzle but couldn't
Noticed that Astro and Postiegirl a uploaded pics of the final location
Drove around and very quickly found where they were taken - suprised me when I found it so quickly
So Thanks to Astro and postiegirl for their great pics!
And thanks the Freddo for placing this cache next to a pipeline - it narrowed down the possibilities
So how do you slove this one?

The puzzle was well within our means and the hide was appreciated as it was an ammo can not a nano. Liked the collection of jeeps going nowhere too.
Why hasn't anyone stuck a nano on the pipe yet?
Thanks to Freddo.

Been sitting on this solution for a while - today was the day we went to see if we had it right.
Interesting collection of TB's here.
Thanks, Robmc.
