We had a couple of hours to fill in in Chatswood so thought wed start with these upstanding citizens. Turned out this cache was the only one we needed to fill in the time. We footered around Lyle for a while before we found the connection. Alyce was communicative and we set off in high spirits. We knew there were puzzles ahead, and when we got to Svetlana Russian? Serbian? What was this??!! The brows furrowed, and it took us a while to work out her message. Most discombobulating!! We PAFd several friends, none of whom could help, and a previous finder we knew vaguely and who gave us hints that set us on the right path although not quite to the gate. In desperation we contacted the CO. He sent us a couple of hints and asked if we needed more - we unashamedly confessed that we did. We started looking further into it all, when suddenly we were joined by a person - who turned out to be the CO. He gave us more than a little help and a lesson on the iPhone to boot, made sure we got it right, and sent us off to find the prize, with an extra little hint.A really good concept. At least three things to puzzle over, and such a sense of achievement at the end, even after the help we received. Cannot recommend this cache highly enough! Definitely deserves a fav. TFTC and all the help!
Had 2 goes at this but unfortunately ran out of time to find it. The CO very kindly sent some directions which showed I had strayed too far from the path. By daylight I found numerous tennis balls & disturbed a family of possums but it is a beautiful park & much less terrifying than at 10pm the previous night. It was a fun romp through the streets & some good puzzles (with only a teeny bit of help from a friend to speed up). Hopefully I can get back here to turn this into a smilie & a FP. Thanks for the adventure!
Visiting Sydney and happen to be staying in Chatswood for a week. Not an abundance of caches in the vicinity, so I was pleased by the opportunity to meet some citizens. Got round to L, L, A and S a couple of days ago, with no real trouble. Back at my accommodation and I managed to translate Svetlanas message. Today I was back and spent some very pleasant time trying to work out the information in those rectangles. Had the aha moment, checker confirmed the details on my first attempt. Having already walked around the area a bit I understood where I was headed, and found the cache quite quickly. Took a different route home, met some local avians and also another citizen named Bernie (aka GL 87702). A very enjoyable meander and nicely challenging puzzles. FP from me today. Cheers
TFTC! Nice find with ChickenEmpyre, figured out the clues pretty quickly but took a bit of time to find the cache at the coordinates
collected all the infowill be back next visit to find the final hopefully really enjoyed the walk and how the info was provided
I first attempted this several years ago when my son was playing soccer at the nearby high school. I abandoned the chase after he grew restless. Today I was back for the same reason, but he's an adult now, so I left him to warm up and came to collect the details. I couldn't work out what to do and decided to take another look - this time I found the other piece of the puzzle. Anyway I took the advice and used a pen and paper to help work it out. It took the first half of the game before the penny dropped with this fiendishly simply puzzle. Definitely couldn't have solved it without both parts. At half time I drove back to make the find and left a TB. Very clever and a lot of fun. A favourite. TFTC.
This was a very nice multi. We turned up at WP1, both with different ideas as to how this would work. We were both wrong. However, after a few minutes of discussion, we agreed on what to do next and made our way around the course collecting some useful data and some other data which wasn't needed at all. Things really started to fall together at the last WP. We excitedly copied out and photographed the puzzle. Then we got stuck. We pondered and googled and googled and pondered. It looked like a good puzzle. Except, except, ... we couldn't solve it. Whilst Dan went for a walk to investigate the area, Sue PAFed. Basically, we only needed one word to see what to do. A very neat puzzle. With a happy checker, we happily raced to GZ at our usual pensioner pace. Coords were very accurate. FP.We really enjoyed this cache. Thank you very much The 3 Investigators
After spending a million years trying find a Park, Stef and I took a lovely stroll through the streets of chatswood, avoiding the sodden jacaranda petals. We found dear Svetlana, ho provided us with a clue, a location and whole host of "ahh that's coool". Solved the next puzzle quickly, then off to GZ.And then it definitely didn't take us 50 minutes searching through drenched undergrowth, fallen debris, and dealing with trash-tier GPS locating. Top tier, would do again
FINALLY FOUND IT!! the puzzles were really fun and MrSiomiak and i solved all the puzzles fairly easily (our brains are good ay puzzles) BUT SPENT OVER 50 MINUTES LOOKING FOR THE PHYSICAL CACHE lmao somehow thats the part were bad at hahain our defence we were also trying to avoid rain showers and leaches the whole time
Refreshed Svetlana's messages, including the puzzle. The old message was hard to read so duplicated it in a spot easier to read now.

What a fantastic geocaching experience that was.
After a recent dental consultation in Chatswood, I decided to see if I could hunt down the Citizens. I did manage to complete much of this one but took the puzzle home to decipher. What a clever one that is.
Fast-forward to today. I was heading home from the city after completing some maintenance on a few caches. I needed to change trains to the Metro service when I suddenly remembered I needed to go and find this cache now that I had the green light from the checker. I also had my ebike with me so this would be a relatively quick find... and so it was!!!
This cache was awarded Geocache of the Month back in February, 2015 and it's easy to see why.
I award favourite points to caches that have given me that fantastic caching experience I mentioned earlier and this one didn't disappoint. I do like a good multi and this one flowed very well. I loved the puzzle that gave me the final coordinates.
Top work The 3 Investigators.

Out caching with MM and collecting caches in this area.Great multi, took a bit to get stared and then we were off. Pondered over the final returning home to figure it out and then a fresh start the next day.
We were looking for a multi to do and decided to wander over to Chatswood...
This was so much fun Took a moment to figure out what to look for, then we were off and running. The final step was quite inspired and we took pics as it was getting late and cold, and figured it out on the couch that night with wine
The next morning we headed back to GZ and made a quick find. Dropping off a **FAVE** as this was an adventure, and unique in construction.

Found all the citizens. I had a little trouble with Alyce as I was thrown by a vertical series of 6 numbers. These coordinates put me 1.6km away. Hmmmm, this is not right. I decided to PAF who put me on the right path. I then found Svetlana who gave up the location if her secret message.
I decided to take this home to decipher and once done, I'll return to claim my prize. Loving this one so far.

Oldmorty and I began this a few weeks ago.
No trouble finding Lyle, his twin brother Luke, Luke’s girlfriend Alyce or Alyce’s very best friend Svetlana. We found Svetlana’s message, translated it, went to where the message sent us and found the rectangles.
Being an overly clever puzzle which we found a little too difficult to do in the field, we took photos and decided to return another day to look for the cache.
We’re back, and after a very pleasant walk, found the cache.
This was a very enjoyable multi. Thanks to The 3 Investigators for putting this together.

15 April. Frazeydaze had some business in the area today and it was decided to make a start on this cache after completing the business. After parking in a nearby street we had a brief meet up with Lyle before heading off to visit Luke and his girlfriend Alyce, who by the way has a backside that's worth checking out. Alyce showed us where to find Svetlana, however, before visiting her we returned to the car as a walk down to her place and back looked a bit too painful for frazeydaze's dicky knee. Once at Svetlana's we gathered and deciphered the information for the next stage of the journey. At the next stop it started to rain so we headed home to do some solving and return another day.
19 May. Today we returned and made our way to gz and after a brief search it was CIH. Thanks for placing this fun multi cache.

After finding the first points years ago, today was finally the day to try to find GZ.
I needed to PAF before I was at the right spot and quickly spotted the container.

An enjoyable trek and fun puzzle. Took us a little while before something made some semblance of sanity. Once it did, we meandered down that road until we had some likely co-ords. Geochecker agreed and off we went! Thanks for the fun and the cache!
This was a lovely and unique cache that took me a few trips to unravel. Thanks for putting it together and maintaining so well

A most challenging cache! But I had a lot of fun finding it!
Great appreciation to the fine upstanding citizens of Chatwood for assisting me in locating this cache.
The final puzzle was a head scratcher as others said but once I understood how it worked, it was an easy find!
TFTC. I will be awarding a favourite for this one!

Enjoyed wandering around Chatswood and solving the puzzles. Nice cache hide in good condition. TFTC
A great way to spend the Sunday afternoon in Chatswood! Took us a bit longer than expected (I was too bashful to have a good look at Alyce’s good looking backside). The final puzzle was a head scratcher. We tried a few things but couldn’t seem to get anywhere. We messaged the CO, who was nice enough to come over and point out something we had missed.
The ‘aha’ moment came to us as he walked away leaving us to ponder the new revelation, and shortly after, we had the final coords and CIH!
Tftc - FP from me.

Solved the puzzle to get GZ co-ords over two visits to the area. Thanks to help from JimmyDave who gave me an idea how to solve the final puzzle and before long I had some likely co-ords. Today had the afternoon off work, so went to find the cache and after a good search of the area finally had the cache in hand. Happy too have found finally! FP from me from me as really enjoyed this search for clues and puzzle.
Super fun cache! Required a lot of brain power but was really rewarding at the end TFTC
Cache found! Safe and sound (albeit a little wet). Had lots of fun traipsing around Chatswood for this geocache. Highly recommended
Found it!!! After a lot of head scratching and a couple arguments, Geo dad and geoson were very happy to have CIH. Thanks the 3 investigators for the cache. TFTC
Final puzzle took longer than I'd have liked but trapped by rain I stayed on site and managed to resolve. Cache found in good order. TFTC.
Have looked at this one for a long time but never the time available enjoyed the way this was created and well deserved the cache of the month honours.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache The 3 Investigators

I really enjoyed this excellent urban multi. Collected the clues over 3 previous visits and deciphered the final clue. I was not able to make the find the last rime I was here in January, but this time literally stumbled across the cache. Thanks for an excellent adventure.

Great cache! Lots of fun exploring the backstreets and figuring out the clues. Last clue stumped us for a bit but momijitempura worked it out and we were shortly on our way to the cache. TFTC.
Worked out all the way points but could not solve the final puzzle, but with some help eventually solved the final co-ords which led to an easy find. TFTC
Once we had found the solution to the final clue and had the co-ords the actual cache was an easy find. Very clever the way it was done and well deserving of a favourite. TFTC
Very disappointing - after finding all of the citizens the final cryptic clue with the co-ords for the cache proved much too cryptic for our group!
Performed maintenance: Refreshed all written clues at/near Svetlana. Confirmed cache is in place.
So close I can taste it!
When I finally get my hands on this cache I will be awarding it a favorite point. What a lovely adventure thus far!
Citizens? Found
Language? Decoded
Field puzzle? Understood but faded so with my geosenses about me, off towards where I knew GZ would be.
PAF, they confirm I'm exactly where I should be.
But it's been over a year since it was found by them, and I assume the area looks a bit different. At least next time all the chats have been had, and my only task left is getting cache in hand
Pictured: sunset on my walk of shame to the station

Amazing cache only took us 2 days! did not get coordinates from Alyce so used brute force driving around to find Svetlana but in the end we found her and it was smooth sailing from there. TFTC Fav
Solved and found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). Today we found ourselves in Chatswood. Due to the foibles of the new metro and impatience of people we no longer had a reason for our visit. But as we would have had to transit here otherwise, we'd prepared to have another go at this one. A little sullenly we headed off to where we'd gotten last time. Luck was with us and we saw where we'd erred and were soon on the right track. At Svetlana C was able to find the foreign messages and we were both able to translate them. The checker was happy with our co-ords and we headed to GZ. Soon we had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and with much better spirits we headed back to Chatswood. It was interesting to pass Kenneth Slessor Park and read the quotes from Five Bells. I'm giving this a favourite, despite us previously falling for a red herring. We then enjoyed our afternoon visit in Chatswood. TFTC.
Out with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) , we were heading to town for a meet with a friend which ended up being cancelled due to delays on the west metro train (3rd time for us), so decided to get off at Chatswood and restart previous cache hunting to see where we went wrong before. Arrived Alyce and saw where we went wrong before. After getting right co-ords we headed off and found Svetlana, after finding the info we needed and translating (a bit of difficultly for the second lot of info due to phone cocking things up) we managed to get co-ords for the final GZ. Headed off and once at GZ, was a quick find. Log signed and returned, glad to change this one from to . TFTC
In the area with Trodectus after a ride on the Metro train. Walked to first site and then continued to follow pointers and arrived at Alyce, obtained what we thought was the info for the next stage, but didn't quite look right, proceeded to walk to co-ords and definitely had the wrong info after an arduous walk. To late to return to Alyce, so we headed for train station to head home, will have another attempt at a later date.
Came here with Coybear2000. We found the first few waypoints without any difficulty. Unfortunately we fell for a red herring and walked quite some way without coming up with the final waypoint. We'll need to return sometime to complete this.
Today I met AussiePam and we came by train and walked around Chatswood to complete this cache. I knew where to meet Svetlana, sometimes you know things, sometimes you don't, no friend help required to find her.
She gave us her message and we continued on.
What we did next, you've just gotta laugh. The more I think about it and the reaction of a guy and his children who walked through the park the more I laugh.
An hour later and a couple of PAFs later and Svetlana's challenge was finally completed and approved, then it was off to GZ. About 8m from the solution co-ords the prize was finally in our hands. It's in excellent condition for its age.
The hike back up to the station was nearly as challenging as the caching expedition!
I really liked Svetlana's challenge. Favourite point awarded.

I set out this afternoon in the company of Jackscruff to visit some Upstanding Citizens of Chatswood.
We did our homework and started off with a few solid ideas. In this way we managed to find Lyle, Luke and Alyce. So far so good. Then, with Alyce's help, we found Svetlana !!!! The scout motto: Be Prepared!! I brought my Russian dictionary with me, in case I ran into a word I didn't know. But all good!! Легко ! Svetlana means light - but is that a red herring????
Things then got surreal. And during the next phase of the operation, we had to brave the unbelieving stares of a group of primary school aged children who arrived out of nowhere. Isn't it school holidays???? They should be at the beach, surely !!!!
We now had the information, but not a clue what to do with it. With some general idea where we probably needed to look, we tried dirty caching. Zilch !! A bush turkey laughed at us.
Eventually we gave in and TAF'd around. This brought up some remarkable suggestions, and a clue or two. Back to the drawing board.....
This time we came up with actual co-ordinates - but all pretty unlikely. So we started again from scratch - very very carefully, finally arriving at something reasonable. The Geochecker went GREEN.
Back into the bush we went - and in short, the cache was soon in hand !!
What a hoot. Thank you The-3-Investigators for a fun afternoon.

Some time ago, while we were passing through Chatswood, we managed to find Lyle, Luke and Alyce, but Alyce did not give us what we needed. Today, we called in to visit Alyce again and she was still not forthcoming, but we managed without any help to find Svetlana, who did speak to us. Soon after we were looking at a couple of clues that magically provided the coordinates we had been seeking, so we walked off to GZ. Not long after, I spied a well camouflaged cache, very nicely hidden. Thanks to Lyle, Luke and Alyce, and of course Svetlana who was so helpful, and I really should thank The 3 Investigators as well, we had fun.
Originally attempted this a year or so ago but fell way short. Came back yesterday and met all the upstanding citizens but light was fading and i needed to study a puzzle. Last night after staring at it, light bulb moment and geochecker went green! Back this morning to finish the job. Great little mystery type multi. TFTC and FP.
I stood up for the challenge. I wandered around Chatswood and met the upstanding citizens. Eventually I found a cache also. TFTC The-3-Investigators

I headed to collect this long outstanding multi in Chatswood to keep the streak alive. I quickly made my way through the waypoints and got to Svetlana's challenge. Here I had to pause and ponder on the solution a little, even resorting to PAF, but could not get too far. And then suddenly it just clicked and I cracked the code. Geochecker was happy as well so I headed off to GZ to collect the prize. Cache was in hand quickly and I took a TB to bring it to a new place.

Found with a muggle friend who sometimes accompanies me on caching journeys. I was up visiting him from Melbourne and decided to grab a cache after watching the cricket at a bar. We confused ourselves at first but then we sorted ourselves and we were on the right path. We struggled a bit with a faded clue at the final hurdle but finally worked it out and headed to GZ. This was a great adventure which we really enjoyed. Thank you CO! Signed log and headed back to the pub for a cold beer with a new smiley on my map tftc!
Today we headed up to Chatswood to do some shopping, then grabbed a long running multi nearby, before stopping off at East Lindfield and Roseville on our way back home. This was the 1st of 3 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
After grabbing some bargains from the Chatswood shops we turned our attention to this Multi-Cache. I had completed most of it during numerous doctors visits at Chatswood over the last couple of years (usually 1 pole per visit), and we did the final puzzle a couple of weeks ago as we were passing by the area.
And so today was to be our visit to final GZ, parking the geomobile close-by and then following the track to GZ. Quickly spotted the hide and had CIH. Signed & stamped the logbook, swapped a couple of trinkets, then replaced as found.
Thanks The 3 Investigators for the long running cache adventure with some interesting puzzles along the way. You can have a Favourite point from us for all the fun.

Checked Alyce. She is still very chatty and remains happy to tell you where to find Svetlana.
Got there in the end... Must have missed something as there was no message at Alyce that we could see just a bunch of trinkets scattered around... Used geo sense and found Svetlana....figured out her message and were on our way... Nope nothing there. Decided to try another location and PAF before doing to to ensure we weren't going on a wild goose chase. Carried on and checked some spots. Yes, there it is.
Well we made our way round and met all the citizens but think things might be missing at WP's but after using geo sense PAF still searched for a bit and finally CIH.
We had started this long along so now it was time to finish it off. An interesting and well put together multi which had us touring around the place. A interesting twist towards the end and a nice setting for the final. As we neared GZ we spotted some camo and soon made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC A favourite point from us.
Thanks this was a great cache with some good puzzles. Took a second trip after finding the clue and having to do some decoding work. Cache was in good condition. TFTC
Some months ago, I had to take my mother to the dentist just down the road from Lyle. I took the opportunity to acquaint myself with him and he confirmed my theory on the theme of this multi. A couple of weeks ago, I had to attend the Australian Electoral Commission in Albert Street, and afterwards met up with the remaining upstanding citizens, encountering no problems at all, even understanding Svetlana’s gibberish. However, I had just spent three weeks on a cruise ship and my brain had been turned to mush so I ended-up taking some work home, confident that my mind would slowly recover and that the solution to Svetlana's Challenge would eventually occur to me.
And so it did.
This morning I took the train down to Chatsie and it wasn’t long before I had cache in hand.
I left a TB.
This was a great multi, definitely worthy of a favourite point. Thanks The-3-Investigators.

A very special day of caching with the geoFamily today. Started with an attempt to rectify my 3 closest DNFs, followed by a devilish cache for my 999th and then the big 1000 milestone.
With my first 4 goals completed, I needed to make a decision for this major milestone. Puzzle caches are by far my favourite cache type, but there were none that I'd solved that were close enough. The geoWife prefers multis and when I saw the number of favourite points for this cache and that it had a puzzle included, it was a no-brainer.
On reading the description, we had a particular adventure in mind, so it was no surprise that when we arrived at the published coordinates, we were scratching our heads. But we soon connected the dots and were heading downhill to look for the identical twin. It turns out we had the wrong "downhill" but with a clever bit of googling, we had the upstanding citizens sorted and were on the correct path.
We chatted with Svetlana and when we sat down to make sense of her gibberish, we had a bit of a giggle. No cover story was necessary when accessing the puzzle as there were no muggles in sight today - otherwise it could have been interesting. This gibberish was much less intelligible than her previous dialect. Tried a few ideas but they were fruitless. Then inspiration struck and the checker confirmed. Shortly after, we had CIH.
TFTC The-3-Investigators. This was an excellent choice for my milestone and deserves a fav.

Very clever. Puzzle had us puzzled. But there was a flash of understanding by crash
Came with JordsAu a few months ago we found the puzzle. Today decided to come back and find the cache. We noticed one of way pts has had an up grade since last time we were there. I like the puzzle. Thanks for the cache.

Last Sunday I was in the area and gathered a few traditionals between Chatswood and Castle Crag. To finish the day I thought I'd have a look at this multi.
Easily found waypoints 1 and 2, but then missed the obvious at waypoint 3, even though I'd correctly interpreted the cache description. Finally had that facepalm moment and moved onto Svetlana.
Had no trouble understanding her instruction, but there were muggles galore that made my next search longer than it need be.
Finally got the info there and decided - due to all the muggles - that I'd take it home to puzzle over, although I had an idea as to what I'd try first.
That night, I saw my initial thought was spot on, and had the coordinates for GZ.
My initial thought was to come back during the week to grab it, but then came the second *Mission GC* and I realised that I could get my souvenir with this one. Interestingly, the caches I grabbed for the 2 missions so far satisfied BOTH mission criteria.
Fast forward to today and after dropping Geoson #2 at the station so he could get to work I continued on to here for my find.
Made my way to GZ from my selected parking spot, and made a quick find.
Completed signing duties and replaced - Souvenir grabbed!
Rehid and made my way back to *The Hademobile*, then off to the Lauchlan Megamall.
Very nicely constructed, with a field puzzle I could have solved on site. Have a favourite.

Temporarily disabling due to council work that impacts part of the multi.
I visit Chatswood about once a month on business. When I came up last month, I found Svetlana, but didn't understand what she said. I cleared my head by picking up a couple of nearby trad caches, and suddenly realised I spoke her language after all. I followed her instructions, found the next clue, but light was going. I returned to the hotel, solved the last piece of puzzle, and swore to come back.
I made my way to GZ this afternoon and grabbed the cache without a muggle in sight. What a beautiful spot! Hard to believe it's in the middle of Chatswood. Nicely constructed multi - a favourite for me!

It was absolutely amazing finding this cache - I came over from melbourne back to syd and was meeting some great friends in westfield when we decided to do a bit of caching and this happened to be the closest. This is our first multi cache and I aboslutely loved the adventure! Just like it says the first clue is essential to solve the following - and it contains some nice puzzles! TFTC!
This was the first cache of the day - after reading the logs I thought we'd just grab the info then work out GZ later and return on another day.
We found Lyle, Luke, Alyce and Svetlana quite easily and translated her hand written clue quickly. When I attempted to do what it suggested I was unable to read the plate but decided to make a guess at GZ and took off on the lovely walk.
I must have been having a lucky day as I spotted the hide as i stopped to look at photos/read more logs as it was slightly uncovered.
This was a really fun multi in a nice area

This multi took about 3-4 go's.
Really didn't understand the first waypoint and even emailed the CO some years back, who gave me a hint but still didn't understood how to move past WP1.
Then after another go, it was simpler than what I was expecting.
Ran through the next few waypoints until the last one where photos were taken and too much to deal with trying to decipher the code.
Worked out the code at home in front of the computer and travelled back this morning for a wet walk to GZ.
With a torch in hand, made the find fairly easily, but didn't expect it to be hidden in this location, thanks 3investigators

A great multi that worked out rather easily in the long run. After puzzling over the last clue I was left with the wet short walk for an easy find.

Came here to find the cache yesterday , we did not realise what we were actually looking for , had a small bit of trouble with Shetlands code and ended up taking a photo and doing code at home , it was really hot when doing Shetlands challenge and only found because I was going under the object for shade , lots of fun, great cache , thanks
We DNF'd this cache quite a while ago and now I see why... Svetlana is not keen to give up her secrets in the dark. Today with a day of work I had better success and finally could knock this old DNF of the hit list! Great cache a lovely way to spend the morning.
Found it got a little late in the evening last time, but finished it with plenty to go this time round.
Got the coordinates with the geocrew a while ago whilst visiting vivid, came back during daylight for a quick find TFTC
Found with geoteam. Love the way the coordinates were given. Also revisited Svetlana; someone had made it clearer which is much better because we could barely make out what it said.

I started this one a while ago but I ran out of time so I had to 'post'pone. Today I started where I left off last time: at Alyce.
I didn't know which way to go so I took a guess and it didn't pay off. I walked a lot further than I needed to but that's cool, I am trying to get some exercise anyway
I eventually found Svetlana with a bit of luck. Translating the hint wasn't too tough but the next part of the puzzle had me scratching my head for a while. I sat down and had some lunch, thinking about what I needed to do. Then it hit me. I kind of facepalmed at how obvious it was, but it always seems like that in hindsight.
Strolled off to find the cache pretty easily. I really liked the multi/puzzle combo. Creative and fun. TFTC!
