Today for our tour of Italy we did a day trip up to Florence. Arrival nice and early saw us join a tour that took in some beautiful sites. After leaving the tour and while deciding to go for some lunch we happened to come past this spot. Not sure how I managed to steer the path in that direction

The cache itself was a bit of a surprise. It was so clear and obvious where it was hidden that I am surprised it was there. It would not last in Australia. The log was signed and cache replaced as a rally went past at the end of the street.

2/05/2015 12:20 Find #2706 . After ascending and descending the Duomo a cache was in order before lunch and this was perfectly located

The general area around GZ had a mild infestation of muggles but they caused no problem to me quickly locating and logging the cache

Gemeinsam mit LSOEVE, dotschal und woaskoan das verlängerte WE dazu genutzt, um die Toskana zu erkunden - zumindest einen kleinen Teil davon

Der heutige Tag führte uns ins nach Florenz - wir konnten die schöne Stadt besichtigen und nebenbei natürlich auch noch ein wenig cachen! Vielen Dank an die Owner fürs Verstecken und Warten der Dosen.

Today we looked around Florence some more – what a Beautiful city ! I have been here many times but this is the first time since starting caching. Today we grabbed a couple more quick caches before leaving to drive back to Nice and fly to London. This one was close to the hotel and was an interesting story.

This is my very first ever cache and to think I had to come all the way to Firenze from Sydney to learn about this pastime. I tried to get lunch at the cafe mentioned in the description but it was so busy I could hardly even get in the door. That must mean that it is good. Maybe I will give it a try some other day.

I am not a Muggle any more!

So many people around here today so walked passed done my shoelace up grabbed it then walked around the block and replaced it on the way past. TFTC
