Found on an afternoon drive that started a Uriarra. Cache his totally Sun destroyed and see not watertight. A hair the holding a bit of broken systema lid in place. Needs urgent maint.
Day three of my travels around Yass and Tumut chasing caches. Drove a few back roads collecting caches amongst the traffic (lots of people were up in the mountains over the long weekend). A good range of caches before heading home around lunch time. Drove through a little part of the summer bushfire country but f I had have headed through Tumbarumba would have been a different story.
Up the hill to the cemetery - a key focal point in this community. Took two looks at GZ and cache is definitely on its last legs.

We detoured off the highway on our drive to Canberra today to visit Brungle so that I could add Tumut (or Snowy Rivers as it now seems to be named) Shire to my tally of counties in which I've found a cache.
Having got the needed find, I then figured I might as well make the most of the detour and do the trifecta ... so off we went and found the other two Brungle caches. A straightforward find here once my GPS decided which side of the road I needed to go.
Thanks for the hide Team Denmar.

There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** A straight forward find in a lovely spot with nice views. Tftc Team Denmar!!!

Found with dty73, Aquilus1, Joolay and Mtrax on our Canberra invasion of Tumut and surrounds! Of course, we also had a lot of other Canberra cachers in town this weekend, and we all had a dinner on Saturday night at the pub! It was a great weekend, and I think a lot of us "cleaned out Tumut" - Please note - the cache needs maintenance - the lid is broken! Thanks for the cache TD.
Off I go with the Canberra geomob for a Tumut invasion for the weekend Caching, dinner at the pub, lots of laughs and more caching made for a fantastic weekend with a great bunch of people
Quick park and grab at this one. A few termites came out with it as well!

Quick find although GPS was out by 6m. Use your common sense to find this one. Container is brittle and will need replacement although is dry.
It was an early start to the day when I set out with Aquilus1 at 0600 on Sunday morning (04/01/2018) to cache Tumut with a side trip to Gundagai. In all we travelled 520kms and it took almost 16 hours to visit 70 plus caches with 65 finds. A long but very enjoyable day. Some of the highlights of the day included visiting Junction Bridge (a Truss Bridge built in the 1800s), Googarragandra River Suspension Bridge (Built in 2006 and Spanning 51..8 meters), Tumut River Grey-headed Flying Fox Colony, Tumut Rail Station and the Tumut River. We had a little time to also visit the Old Gundagai Jail built in 1859 and the Old Flower Mill built in the 1848. Aquilus1 took a photo of me at the Brungle Centenary Park using my poker to poke the cache out of its hiding spot. We had lunch at Gundagai McDonalds and snacks at Subway. This is a generic log due to the volume of all the caches that we found on the day. Thanks to Aquilus1 for a fantastic day of caching and thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of 31st January 2018 my average was only 20 words per log, which seems a long way to the 100 target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 2350 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today), the average log length is just over 50. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my gaol before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.

It was an early start to the day that saw Darksidedan and myself heading to Tumut for the day with a side trip of some Gundagai caches as well as we travelled through. I had been keen to head off for a caching trip and Tumut looked ideal and definitely didn't disappoint. The scenery as we traveled through the area was everything I had hoped it would be and the clear fast flowing rivers beautiful as they flowed through the middle of it all.
A long but very enjoyable day, so many highlights and although we covered a large area and many caches I'm pleased to know there are many more so a return trip sometime is definitely going to happen.
After my navigation mini series of fail we finally arrived after a more scenic trip about than I had planned! Good views from here, funny how most cemeteries have them. Containers ok but brittle and a bit broken and logs better than many in the area. Thanks for the cache Team Denmar.

Another spot with a lovely view, thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
On our way to the Alexandra Mega. This cache is in lovely countryside. It’s a beautiful day, getting warm though We have bypassed Gundagai so many times and only stopped here this time because there was free camping available (and caches). We've missed out on a Lot! It’s a beautiful place with loads of history, much more than just “The Dog on the Tuckerbox”. The lookouts we've visited whilst caching have given us glorious views. Well worth the visit. TFTC

Plans were put into place for a weekend down at Tumut with one party of the FurfacesLL ladies. We headed off Friday after work and came home Sunday afternoon. We had a great weekend wandering around Tumut and surrounds seeing lots of things. The rivers were all flowing nicely and they were very clear. If it was hotter, im sure we would have taken a dip
Another nice easy find today.

We thought it might be "there" as we drove up and it was. Nice countryside even looking so dry. TFTC
The local residents were very quiet and did not disturb our search. Nice views and we found the dedication of the cemetery to the Wiradjuri people interesting. TFTC
Found at 3:25 PM GAFF1.
A beautiful drive along this road from Gundagai - just a bit windy today.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR.

Leaving Tumut and heading back to Canberra. It was raining but we soldiered on in our wet weather gear. A quick find with Chocolistick03. Thanks TD
Another fairly quick stop for a bite to eat and a cache to find... The only view today was some cows 'hiding' in the fog. We were rewarded with some nice scenic views with less fog once we drove around the other side of the hill on the Brungle Creek Road though.
Thanks Team Denmar.
Thanks Team Denmar.
A bit chilly this morning, but as the sun was out, we decided on a drive to Adelong,
Tumut and Gundagai to pick up a few caches.
With lots of lovely scenery and a variety of cache hides, we had a good day out.
Most of the caches were found quickly, with only a few hides a little tricky.
Many thanks for placing this cache, TEAM DENMAR, for us and others to find.

Once again we find another country cemetery with a fantastic view. And after doing our signing duties we went for a short walk through it .

I have no idea what the cache name means, but I was thankful to get away from the caches scattered along the 'main road' (if that is what you want to call it ) !!
Oh thank you for the peaceful surrounds of a cemetery [^]
I could relax a bit and really enjoy this cache stroll
And I soon strolled far 'nuff to find me a cache

I dont know why a lot of cemeterys have a good view all are under ground and sadly deceased. Thanks Team Denmar FTC.
Found by Mary & David at 0845. Delighted to have one near a cemetery, which is always a favourite place for Mary with here interest in social history, graveyard architecture and symbolism. Quite different here. What a beautiful view across the land that these pioneers loved. This morning, the black cattle looked like arranged blocks of licorice. Found ok after a quick search. Our thanks to TEAM DENMAR.
After a big weekend of caching around Tumut, it was time to head back to Canberra and find just a few more
Thanks for this cache I'm glad to see this small little town has at least one! It deserves it. Found quickly and signed the log.

Quick find fortunately, as someone was mowing the lawn at the cemetery and kept turning to glance at me. I found a nearby dropped pen. I left it with the cache. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
Found on our Tumut trip. A short detour off the main road to this GZ, for a very quick find. A bit smelly around here, but a lovely view of Bungle. TNLNSL. TFTC TEAM DENMAR!
[:(!] Went for a weekend caching run, left Wagga about 5.30am and did a circuit through Adelong, Tumut and Gundagai arriving back at Wagga about 6.30pm the following day and breaking the journey by spending the night in Tumut, an early start for the second day, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Another found on our family sunday drive Took Pink Smiley face magnet and left pink star clip
Arrived around midnight on a cold and very foggy night. Strange sounds and spooky (LED) lights over the fence made it all a bit eerie. Was glad to make a quick find and get quickly back to the car.

Lovely resting place. Find number 12 on Mother's Day caching expedition with OmaToo. TFTC!
Do lorikeets count as muggles. They were out in force as we liberated this cache. Letting us know of their displeasure at us disturbing their rest.

One of many finds on a road trip returning from Tumut with Shadow! Nice quiet spot in a tiny country town...TFTC!
A tranquil place to rest with views over the valley. We explored the cemertry and were surprised at just how young so many of the "visitors" are, they seem to be dying at what should be the prime of their lives. Cache was easily found though nearly forgotten as we spent so much time exploring the grounds. Thanks Team Denmar for a worthwhile visit.
Travelling from Tumut-Gundaghai & on to Narrandera today finding caches along the way.

Another cache I have often noticed on the map, but never got out here. This was the final find of a weekend around Wagga with McPhan, Sol de Lune and Zsazsa7 - a couple of days of fun and foolishness. Thanks once more for the company guys, and thanks Team Denmar for the trip up through this nice little town.
Thanks Team Denmar for your caches, nabbed a few this weekend with those crazy cache psychos from Canberra, The McPhan, Winglen and the highly regarded SolDeLune. Who could want for better?
Lovely valley and cruise back to Gundagai from Tumut and a nice little stop over. Thanks for the cache.
