Found 7/5/24 @ 10:21AMApologies for the very late logging (I'm terrible at the logging side!)Another cache in the beautiful East Mac Ranges. We were lucky enough to be the only ones here to do this walk this morning. This whole area is just so beautiful. Love it all! Thanks redcenterdazza for the cache
N'Dhala Gorge II1.5/2.0 Small Traditional Cache Wow 77 finders and not 1 of them is a friend of mine and hasn't been found since May last year.Thank you for the cache redcenterdazza. Interesting drive to the cache. Beautiful rock formations along the way. We didn't expect to walk the gorge today but we did in 40C summer heat and Bug with his thongs! How Aussie can he get? Very interesting petroglyphs. With the harsh sun, violent wind and stormy rain, one wonders if they are really as old as they tell us! However, the carvings are more ridgy didge here than the drawings I saw at Carnavon Gorge QLD. This one is really worth a fav point.
We rode our bikes in from the main road. It wasn't to bad a couple of bad stretches. It was interesting looking at the petroglyphs and seeing the different images. The cache was a nice quick find. TFTC
Lovely walk, had fun spotting and going slow to get our ‘eye in’. TFTC
Cache in great condition, plenty of space in log, 2 swaps. No pen.

Beautiful at the gorge today, so green and water everywhere. Cache was high and dry. TFTC.
Spent the day today touring the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges with ilook4geo. We had a fun day exploring various tracks, gorges and other places of interest. Each found log was signed and returned to place. We love the scenery out here, as it is absolutely spectacularly rugged and so beautiful.
The tour also included part of the Binns Track which was an easy run.
Thank you to redenterdazza for placing this cache which was an easy find.

Spent the day with goingplaces2 and headed east out of Alice Springs. Love the geology and scenery. Happy to log this cache as a find with both names being added to the log. TFTC.
We decided to stay at Ross River and explore the East Macdonnell ranges a bit more. I found this cache on the way to see the petroglyphs at N’Dhala gorge.
A quick find at GZ after a lovely drive on the track. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

As far as stunning drives go, at this time of the day (Late), the Binns track down through here would have to rate very highly. Easy find here thanks.
We were worried the place would be full, but in the end we were the only ones camping at this wonderful place
It was a great night here, very quiet and still with a full moon lighting the place up
Cheers and thanks,

Staying out at Ross River in the East MacDonnell Ranges on this part of my great trip up the middle with a couple of muggle friends.
Just picking up random caches while I can without upsetting them to much.
Took one car out to this one and walked the trail through the gorge checking out the carvings.
Thanks redcenterdazza TFTC.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 9. Today was a long day getting to head North, starting with a loop around the East McDonald Ranges, including Trephina Gorge and Arltunga. I got to revisit the Plenty Highway via the current Binns track and after a quick stop at Gemtree back to the Highway till dusk.
I visited a bit of the southern Binns track to get a few extra caches this morning.
Thanks.

Found this cache yesterday 15/9. Have been staying at Ross River, so just a short drive in. Keep your eyes peeled as the petroglyphs are spread all over the area. TFTC.
WHOOPS! I'm logging about 100-200 or so caches like 3 months after the trip that we found them on! Completely forgot to log these but I did not forget the trip! Found this cache along with many others on an adventure around the red centre. Along this adventure we visited and explored many phenomenal and surreal places such as Woomera, Coober Pedy, Uluru and Mutitjulu, Kata Tjuta, Wattarka, Tnorala, Both East and West Macdonnell ranges, Arltunga, Ruby Gap, Palm Valley, Parts of the Finke road, Boggy Hole, Rainbow Valley, Old Ghan Route, Chambers Pillar, Oodnadatta track, Mount Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Painted Desert, Moon plane and I'm sure I've missed a few! Thank you so much for the cache. Found with Ferociousflea and -Beaker- along with our mint 79 series that accomplished alot in this two week time frame.

Travelled and cached with FerociousFlea and Astronaut99.
Great spot... shame the local bees decided to swamp on the Landcruiser while we were having lunch. We didn't stay long enough for a hive to be built!!

What a beautiful spot! We loved the drive up here in the last sunlight. Thank you for showing us. Greetings from the Netherlands.
What a treat! Despite a sign saying end of marked track, venture on for some amazing petroglyphs TFTC
Back in Alice Springs after a month in Darwin catching up on caches not collected on our last visit. Love the outback and the trekking around the Binns Track. This was a small detour but well woth it! An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We were only planning on stopping in Alice overnight to do a bit of a clean up and catch up with the washing but decided to make it two nights and do a little bit of sightseeing and relaxing at the same time. We chose to do the loop on Binns Track and back on The Ross River Highway and pick up a few caches out this way.
The cache itself was a nice easy find right where the GPSr said that it would be.
We had taken a bit longer than expected to get this far and nearly only did the cache and turned round to head off because of time restraints but we decided that we should go and have a look at what the camping would be like for future reference when we could spend a lot more time here. This worked out for the better as it looks like a great spot to camp, there was a camper that had a dead flat battery after the minus 1 degree night and neither he or any of the other campers had any jumper leads on them so at least we were able to do our good dead for the day and get him started.

Well I made it to the gate to the conservation park
Time to head on in and set up camp,
take a wander,
and explore this interesting place [^]
I'll go for a stroll in the morning
At 3pm in the arvo it is siesta time [^]
While waiting for 'fly-set',
which should occur earlier than usual tonight.
Due to the cool weather,
and sun disappearing behind the gorge walls well before sunset
TFTC, goodnight

One of several on a day spent around Trephina and other locations close to our base at beautiful Ross River Station. Thanks for the hide redcenterdazza.
Caching my way from Adelaide to Alice Springs via Uluru for the Red Centre Experience event. Today was day six and our last full day in Alice Springs. My travel companions AlphaDeltaIndigo, Moneydork, semik and I grabbed everything we could as we explored eastwards into the ranges. The day ended at Felix II's caravan and a glass of wine in hand...
This was find number 14 of 28 for the day for me. TFTC redcenterdazza!

Caching in the Alice Springs and Eastern MacDonnell ranges region for the long, long weekend all thanks to the Red Center Experience geocaching event in Alice 13-17th April 2017. My apologies for a generic log, but I'm notorious for not logging my caches. I am just trying to get up-to-date so someday I can celebrate milestones again. cheers and thanks to all for their efforts to make the hide findable and most in a location worthy of a visit without geocaching (but I'm glad I got a smiley too!)

We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!
Found at the end of a great day geocaching. We were lucky to have a spare container and pen to replace the stuffed ones in this geocache. TFTF
So glad we made the deviation to this Gorge, as there were many interesting rock formations and carvings to be seen .
TNLNSL.
No water crossings at all (so far) as we travelled in from the south.
Thanks for another one Redcenterdazza.

We picked up this cache before heading into the gorge proper and spent an hour or two walking and happy-snapping. Thanks for bringing us here. No swaps. Cheers.
Found on a day drive in the East Macs. A good couple of water crossings on the:trip out . Tftc
Found during our trip from Alice Springs to the east - with main goal N'Dala Gorge! When we finally got there..it was very close to sunset..we wrere littlebit afraid of darkness and the wsay back through sand and water, so we made a very quick trip through the gorge and did not reach its final spot..but it was impressive anyway...darkness coming - dead treaes and rocks..maybe littlebit depressive, but also nice.. thanks a lot!
Located by Lead 'n Lace on the eastern portion of our northern adventure. The drive in was amazing, four wet creek crossings, four dry creeks, lush green pastures then back to the very dry landscape. The cache was easily located, good job the recent fire didn't get the container. The extra distance and the walk to the see the petroglyphs would have been better had the fire not gone through as it left a barren vista.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Some fun small water crossings on the way in today. Arrived just before sunset and the gorge looked great in the evening sun. Thanks
Found as part of our 5 week trip from Adelaide to Lawn Hill and then onto the Territory.
Apologies for the late logs but Vodafone doesn't cover much of that part of the world.
We found 109 and had 10 dnfs, some more than once.
We camped here for the night and were the only ones here. Clear night and lots of stars before the full moon came out. Oddly this place is not in the Camps book.
Cache easily found.

This was our 8th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 14:30.
(So this is our 4531st total find.)
We thoroughly enjoyed the "interesting" drive to get to theis cache. We lost count of the river crossings needed to get here.
Took: Nothing

An interesting site with a fun track in, but an even better track out because I finally got to drive! Tftc
Found on the Anja & Setsujoku honeymoon tour!
After getting married on the 19th May it was time to head off for some rest and relaxation, or rather camping and lots of walking!
We were concerned about heading out here as the track reports showed that the water might still be a bit high, but after talking to the owners at Ross River they said that there were only 6 crossings and each was only a foot deep. We made our way out and got out there without any issues. A great drive out and well worth it. Enjoyed the walk through the gorge before giving A the keys to drive back out again.
Thanks to redcenterdazza for the cache and another chance to see the outback.

After tackling the slippery Binns Track, we thought this track would be okay but no, lots of water on the track but we kept going on just to hunt this cache Took a while before Mr Bushies2 found it. Thanks redcenterdazza.
Camped for the night in this lovely spot. Well worth a visit, especially for the aboriginal rock art. Took soccer ball key ring, left fuzzy ball key ring. TFTC
Beautiful spot in the gorge. Spent a couple of hours wandering up before dropping in to find this cache. TFTC.
The 4wd into this gorge was fabulous, very scenic especially late in the day when the sun was hitting on the red rocks. We did the cache and had a look around the area before heading back to Alice via the Binns Track to come out to the bitumen near Jessies gap. This drive proved to be very scenic and not too rough. TNLN. Thanks self
Great short walk. Getting warm though. Did the cache on the way out. While you're there add a rock to the cairn!
A quick find after a great drive in. A fascinating location. The trip out was just as much fun ,wish I had more time to explore.

Very easy find - Sweetpea didn't even need the GPS to find it! Easy entry from the east side, but from the west side (Ross River) the track is washed away at the moment at the last river crossing. I would caution people against driving in this way unless you are an extremely competent four wheel driver. Still it was an interesting drive to Ross river from N'Dall Gorge. Thanks for the Cache. An Enjoyable drive too. TNLN

Found while doing Binns Track. The best petroglyphs that we have seen and so many of them! This was a bronze for us. Yahoo. Left a klem bear and took nothing. Thanks for bringing us here.
This place is worth the visit, either early or late in the day. The sheer number of Petroglyphs makes this a lengthy visit, but most satisfyingly so.
