Logs
There were a few floggers out there this afternoon. Glad I was on the geocycle with my helmet on.
Heading back to ACT after a 3 week trip deep into SA as far as the flinders ranges. What a cache location, I was able to sneak into the golfers territory without a hassle and the hint certainly made for a quick find. Tftc
Having a lovely day driving from Wodonga to Sydney. thought I would stop and grab a few caches on the way to break the trip up as Im driving on my own.TFTC
Walked to this one at night whilst camping near by, really cool idea, great spot, fav from us, cheers cobber.
On a roadtrip to pick up a new car! Lovely place to spend the night! Thanks for the cache!
Tyftc! A day spent celebrating the birthday of Jessticulate by nabbing some caches
Quick park and grab - really interesting location! Spotted quickly after checking the hint.Tftc F5!
A memorable tragic and heroic story too. Fine day for a stroll. Stopping for a coffee break and ONE cache as I'm on flying visit to our mighty CAPITOL. TFTC and the lure to visit.
Hello The Farmers 5 thank you for the cacheWOW what a great little cottage.A quick find.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Wednesday, 01 May 2024 at 0739**TFTC**
Took pup for a walk for our last night in Gundagai and what a treat to see there was a geo right at our back door. Loved reading the history of the area though very sad to read about the flooding.TFTC
Departed Canberra today after a week-long stay for the Capital Geobash. Found on the way back home to Melbourne (via a stopover in Beechworth tonight). Very cute location. Our Lady Cacher and Mini Cooper especially enjoyed visiting. Fave point awarded for bringing us to this spot.TFTC
We were in Canberra for the Mega, finding, meeting and greeting, celebrating and dining with like minded people. On the trip back to Vic and we made a few more finds. What a sad storyI've been a bit slack but today spending an overcast day of the JLWE catching up with some logging.TFTC SL TB's visited ??
A quick find after dinner at the local pub. Heading home from a great weekend in Canberra for the Capital Geobash Mega Event.TFTC
We heard about a Mega in Canberra a year ago. Having never been to the big capital, we booked our accommodation and the planning began.Which caches shall we do? Wow they really love their mystery caches in ACT! Ok, we need to get our thinking caps on and solve some of these puzzles pronto. We have made the trek from Adelaide to be here and appreciate the efforts of all those involved to make the Capital Geobash happen. Very sad history here but a beautiful old building and bridge.
First time that I have called into the Gundegai township, I usually stop alongside the highway. Well worth the detour. Another stop on my way home from the mega was this cache and lab. Love the history. Cache found, log signed and returned as found.
I found this cache. Please excuse generic log, I need to catch up on my backlog of caches to make sure the Canberra mega event is my milestone. I will edit this log when I am back in geelong Victoria
What a cute container the cache was in. A quick stop off in the way to the Canberra Mega and Im glad I did. Love it TFTC
With Featherwaite we're on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Narrandera and Day 2 we arrived in Canberra.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
On our way to the geo Bach Canberra we stopped for the night at Gundagai and what a great spot to stay, we did this cache bright and early with only a few golfers around and the sun shining we found the cache nice and quickly a favourite for us, and thanks for placing it
Found with Team Waldron on our way to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Thanks for the cache The Farmers 5!
What a sad story. Just as sad as the golfers who were trying to play the hole behind the memorial. One hit the cairn and was so embarrassed it took two attempts to hit the ball onto the fairway. I did feel sorry for them. Other than waiting for them to play through, it was a quick find. Favourite point from us.
Thankyou for the cache so much history and information. We also did the AdLab while here.TFTC
Day #1 Geobashing It was time to head north to our capital for the first ever Canberra Mega. OzHockeyChick and I jumped in the car and set off for our first stop of the trip Yass. We of course stopped along the way to collect targeted caches as we went.A sad story here. I was expecting a tough hide here, but the cache was found quickly, A big thanks goes to The Farmers 5 for taking the time to add Rose Inn to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Outnabout for some solo caching after travelling from The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide, Im just picking off the odd cache on my last travel day heading for Canberras Capital Geobash. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC The Farmers 5
Another cache from Farmers 5, thanks for giving us some great cache and a tourist sight of this beautiful town
Catching up on sole older draft logs i haven't published just yet.Cool little location and after abit of searching around the cache was found log signed rolled back up and returned to its original location. All looked to be in good working condition at the find i found this one.
What a great history lesson of Gundagai these caches from farmers5 have provided. Many thanks
After a day of kayaking on the Murrumbidgee River, I went for an evening walk from the caravan park at which we were staying and took the opportunity to search for the geocaches on the Murrumbidgee floodplain that explored the history of Gundagai. I found four of the five on my list - the wasp guardians launched an assault when I approached the fifth cache and I retreated massaging my wounds. This cache was a straightforward find, being in a place obvious to geocachers and on the coordinates. Thank you The Farmers 5 for installing and maintaining this cache, and for providing the fascinating history lesson.
A quick find on a hot day. I liked learning the history of this site. TFTC!
Found on the way back from a long weekend caching in Albury - Wodonga with a group of friends. In the car with barb2e and finally able to stop here. TFTC
Drove from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to Gundagai. Stopped for a sleep at the nearby lovely caravan park. We got up early to do this cache. Spotted grounds keepers checking out the course with their Ute and dogs. It's such a lovely location. Thanks for bringing us here
Homeward bound after filling in the last blank spots on my NSW counties map yesterday. Naturally enough, I'm doing a few caches and ALs along the way, sometimes even in the same place. A nice memorial and a nice hide here ... thanks Farmers5.
Great break in our drive from Bendigo to Batemans Bay today. Thanks again The Farmers 5. What an amazing structure
If it wasnt for the generous hint, Id still be there. Nice for the smiley but so sad the story here, nice hide
A quick one night stopover in town, breaking up the drive from Melbourne to Sydney. It was very early in the morning when I ventured out for this one. The soft, foggy light was gorgeous and the cows were welcoming. A cute cache that took a little effort to get in hand. TFTC
Found it!

OCW Irondale on the way to the Rutherglen Mega event today. We focused on caches in Blaney, Carcoar and Gundagai (where we also stayed the night). All around a great day with some solved puzzles in the map that got found and we ended up picking up 60 cents worth of return and earn cans, found a fifty cent coin, a really decent reusable drink bottle, a ring, and some fresh figs from a tree near Coolac.
This one was great. We spotted it right away but thats 20 years of caching wisdom paying off right there. Have a FP TFTC

What a sad story here. I had to wait for some golfers to move along before retrieving the cache. Thanks for the geofun.

After completing the AL we realised there was another find here. What a wonderful idea for a cache tftc
Very busy day today, weather was beautiful, everyone was enjoying themselves, great atmosphere
This was a fun cache! I definitely drive past this on my way into town without realising it was there... But this time round the monument was clear as day smack bang in the middle of the green haha!
Like previous finders I swept away the cobwebs with my pen and gingerly found the cache, thankfully it was guardian free.
Thanks for the interesting history and fun cache! A FP from me

Day 19 of our Whittlesea Road Trip and today our journey takes us from Rutherglen to Gundagai and stopping for a cache or two along the way. Many thanks to the COs for placingand maintaining their caches for us to look for.
Out and about caching as we travel from Rutherglen to Gundagai. Stopped by, to find this cache. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
After completing AL WP, I realised this was right here. Back to the house for a quick find. TFTC
Quick find at cute GZ, before leaving Gundagai on our pilgrimage to Mega at Whittlesea. TFTC
It would be easy to miss this lovely monument with the sad history. A super hide that would have had a dunking in the recent floods but all good with it today. TFTC The Farmers 5.
