Unfortunately I think that someone knows exactly where I have hidden this cache as everytime I replace it it disappears immediately. Such a shame.
When we move back down to Geraldton after Christmas we will try something completely different, maybe a few months without a cache will cool the mugglers off.
thanks to all who have attempted our cache, we hope you all enjoyed it.

Dissapointed not to find it during our one day stay at Geralton as we searched "high and low". Given the rating we assume it has dissapeared again. Enjoyed the strucutre anyway.
Well we thought we would find it this time but no go. Searched the hull time and again. Too old to climb on top so if it's up there god bless its little magnets.

Checked and replaced container as magnet was getting weak - log replaced.

DNF today, and we spent 20 minutes looking over every square inch of the yellow submarine. After reading the log files cant help but feeling that its has been muggled !

Had a look but too many Muggles to have a really good go. Notice that a few logs said they couldn't find it . Hope it is still there.
Searched high and low to no avail. Finally found two very small round magnets. Assume cache has gone the way of the yellow sub TFTH.
So heading back to Perth from Monkey Mia. Stopped overnight last night in Geraldton. Set off this morning for a couple of local finds before starting south again.
Aaagh! No luck for us at this one.
Is this the start of the rot for us.

Found quickly with EsromL this morning. Logbook is full, but we did manage to squeeze our marks into a space with another. Magnet is also failing, so the nano is not firmly attached and likely to fall off. TFTC
Found it on a nice day in my holidays
(I hope the date is right, i'm not sure)

Found at 3.20pm GAFF2. Wonder if it would have worked now with advancement in the technology of batteries?
Had a chuckle when we read that it had been painted yellow after the Beatles song and after it had been decommissioned.
We are also not clear as to the name of the animals - are they Lobster or Crayfish? Crayfish we understand have large pincers, lobsters don't and that is what is caught around here.
Thanks Ian & Sue.

We had no luck in finding this one yesterday but after reading through past logs last night, we discovered it was a Nano (we had been looking for a small container!).
Armed with our new knowledge, we rocked up today and found the Nano within 30 seconds! We enjoyed reading about the sub-marine and we couldn't stop singing the song! Thanks heaps.....

Found on a visit to Geraldton to attend the opening of the museum exhibition celebrating mining and heroes of the midwest. found with geograndson Jayce35. Great site. TFTC
Didn't expect it to be so small. Magnetic container brilliant. Thanks for a clever hide.
This is an interesting project to visit. Easy find suitable for young Geocachers! TFTC
Team TignMeg first timers with us found this one with us hows that for luck it was a good find will load a photo of our day there {no we dont show ya where it is find it ya self lol}
thanks Ian & Sue
thanks Ian & Sue
We found this a very interesting location but we certainly wouldn't have wanted to be one of the two man crew. We had to admire the caches namesake whilst waiting for two muggles to depart before starting our search. After they left we were very lucky as we found the cache in the second place we looked.
Thanks Ian & Sue- Team Pathfinder for another nice hide in an interesting location

We were very glad to find it after 2 DNF's when we last visited last year. Mr Bushies2 spotted it straight away. Thanks for the cache.
had a team look for this one and no luck at all. good bit of history and a real nice spot.
I don't have a lot of luck with nanos but this one was soon located. It is in a great position that is easy to get without looking too suspicious.

Perfect! This one is great. A lovely nano, which took us quite some time. On a Saturday everyone was out here in the park so we had to be careful.

Over in Geraldton visiting my sister. This was our 2nd ever WA find. This cache took us took long as we were looking for a micro cache but in fact it was a NANO [:(!] and then found it was full [v]. But we loved the location & watched a huge ship coming into the wharf [^] TFTC
Opening day for the Yacht Club so decided to make this my find in order to be part of the record attempt on 10/10/10. TFTC
Sang the song. It was a quiet day for muggles and the carnival provided a shield so found this NANO quickly.
Log is full and we only found a very small space to log our visit.

Hello, Thanks for this realy small cache. My wife found it after a 15 minute search.
Thanks from Funkerlein

After looking three times we asked MCFonz for some help, we received their email at 10 o'clock at night and just had to go straight back for another look. We have never seen a cache so small.
Thanks MCFonze for your help and thanks to Team Pathfinder for the cache.

I remember getting all excited seeing this when I used to come to Gero all the time as a young fella visiting cousins many moons ago when it was parked up near the Maritime museum. Was equally happy to see a cache had been placed on it and decided to throw this in as one of three I was allowed to do while in town over night and on our way home from our trek north.
I was searching every nook and cranny I could find expecting a similar sized cache to the GC1NB6x Wheres the Opera House cache. Was on hands a knees and the Missus approached with the biggest cheesy grin "Ive found it". Yeah right was my response and she held it up in front of me.
Anyway

Searched high and low but didn't find...will have to have another crack at it before we go.
This was our second attempt and we are happy to say that we succeeded this time. Nice hiding spot and the only logical place really. We signed the log. Great cache. Thanks Ian and Sue.

Yep - it's a nano alright - and definitely there. SL Thanks (finally) to Ian and Sue for the cache.
We had great trouble finding this log, and didn't, sad to say. Wonderful spot and enjoyed the unusual swing while we were there. I know it said a small cache, but how small is/was it?
Late to log this find. It was a special one as it was our 100th find and also on my wife's birthday which we spent in Geraldton. Enjoyed a great brunch at DOME & kids played at the waterpark, then found a cache. Cheers guys
This is a special one for me, having grown up in Gero and forever having a fondness for the tub.
The Geokids now share that same fondness!

Perth 10.10. I was so convinced it would not be there I must not have looked hard enough. Thanks.

while the kids played by climbing we took a very intense interest in this piece of machinery and won. Yeah another found. TFTH
Tend to agree with previous post. However I'm here with Haggis, so I'll get him to confirm later that i'm not blind
After the four of us climbed all over the submarine, we still didnt manage to find it. We did get some strange looks from muggies though. Suspect that it may have been taken.

'We all live in a .... ' I Like it - an easy find - especially when using the GPS like a camera with all the muggles around. TFTC

Cool place. Just after arriving, 3 other cachers from Perth came along. So, 14 eyes looked for this beast and of course one of us found it. But please note: it's no longer "small" - it shrinked to "Micro".
Thks for the nice cache and greetings from Switzerland: Chris, Jo, Michi and Nastja

THe kids loved climbing all over and playing on the giant swing. We were stumped for a while. A great cache!

Our little girl loved this one! Found it on the second lap around. Our 7th of 9 caches for today. TFTC and bringing us to this cool little sub.
Visited Geraldton for just one day on the HAL's cruise ship the ms Volendam. Boy was it HOT. My husband found this cache and we could not believe how tiny it was --- a real micro mini --- smartly done. Coordinates were spot on.
Dipped our traveling TB Joby here and then off to find a cool brew. Thanks.

The cache had been replaced before the two DNF's - the cache is still present.
Paid a quick visit whilst passing through Geraldton (on the Pacific Sun). No luck - as we half expected. Although, on re-reading the log, maybe we should have looked harder as the 17/1 replacement may have been after the DNFs, not before. (It would be nice if the logs could be in time order also.) Thanks for showing us this fascinating device, though.
We have replaced this cache again - seems everytime we put it back it goes missing the next day! Ekkkk... This time it is smaller and will need a sharper eye plus a sharp pencil. Please be very careful when replacing it. Thanks and happy hunting.
Ahhh another DNF for today. Had a good look at the sub but we couldnt see it. Unfortunately we didnt get a 2nd chance to try again after we met Ian & Sue as time was limited and more caches needed to be done. This just means another excuse for another rod trip North caching, though probably on a much cooler day......See attached picture of the tempreture on the way up....phew it was hot.
Not only couldn't we find it on our 930km Sunday drive; I ended up stuck with the song in my head the rest of the day!
Thanks for bringing us here, even if we couldn't look to closely due to high muggle ratio...
Thanks for bringing us here, even if we couldn't look to closely due to high muggle ratio...
We checked this one again this morning ...yes it has been muggled...we noticed that the previous cachers have been there since our last DNF log because the magnets have been moved. Thanks.
Yeah same here, found four little magnets - that's all. Oh well never mind, hope next time we can find it. Thanks for bringing us to see the cute little tub.
Finding the object was easy enough, finding the cache not so much. Still fun and thanks
was the same problem, we had: only found three magnets. all the way from germany without success
Has this cache been muggled? I found a few small magnets in a likely hiding spot but no container.
A lovely little spot but a shame we could not find the cache only the object it supposedly is on, was still fun trying to find it. Has it been checked recently to be sure its still there as it seems to be a great spot for the youngsters to have a climb, anyway thanks for the hunt.We win some loose some but its the fun of participation that counts. Regards from Grey Nomadz
