will swing by for a look to check on status but probably gone for now, but will replace soon
Not only did we have the co-ordinates confirmed we now had the location confirmed - and we still did not find it !
We will try again when either the owner confirms it is still ther or someone else finds it . For a level 2 we have simply spent just too much time on this cache

I assume I was in the right place, but didn't find it - too concious of muggles nearby. Will try again.
Just looked up the Maori dictionary to find the meaning of the hint - this gives me a btter idea of hre to look.

Thanks for the confirmation about the location - but we failed to get this Ahh!
Solved this one ages ago and just realised we never visited the cache. Lovely day for a stroll in the sun and an easy find. Hope this cache stays safe as it is a popular area. TFTC
Wow, one busy spot at GZ, took ages to find a time to go hunting the cache. However, easily spotted not so easily reached without waiting for a lot more time between muggles. Got it in the end, perhaps having two long arms instead of 8 short ones helps? TNLN Thanks.
Some variations on the answers depending on the source but used the ones that gave the most likely looking spot and they proved correct.

Quick google search gave most answers and was fairly sure about the coordinates it gave me so I headed out and the GPS put me right where I thought it would be. TFTH TNLNSL
There were different answers depending on the source. After checking with Richbritty the cache is finally found. TFTC
This makes a change no whitebaiters, plus I think it might have been missing last time I were here, quick grab today.
Thanks Bitsprayer

Solved by YuGeo4, was a nice spot where the final location was, managed to retrieve the cache while muggles were looking the other way, amazing how a camera and a few questions about the location soon have the muggles at ease, return the cache back home and hide it a bit better so that it wouldn’t get muggled easily, COOL spot, TFTC TNLNSL (1142)

Replaced this muggled cache with small container. Both trackable items were obviously taken sorry!
I have received infromation from a local in the area that school kids have muggled this one...some of the contents (TB) have been located and I am waiting for their return so I can replace the cache. Sorry for the late notice on this one...watch this space. cheers richbritty
This was the only puzzle in the area that Annie managed to get solved prior to our trip, and unfortunately it appears it is still missing. Perhaps the owner can confirm that it is present, or perhaps it is quite happily in the right place, far away from where we were searching!!! ?????
hi just a wee note i heard that some kids at kaiapoi borough school had destroyed the geocache and one happend to be my neighbour so i got the travel bug off him and am holding it for now.cheers jared[(!]
I had a good scout around for this cache today but just could not locate it so I will just have to come back again at some stage. Cheers Bo
Would love to answer the request below, but not through this system as it may defeat the puzzle cache!!
Solved this over the past week or so after some correction by richbritty. Went out this afternoon to find the cache. Was signing the log, and on the phone to Gyargh, when 3 or 4 motorbikes went directly over the top of me. Most hilarious! Of course they'll never know Cheers Gav [3874]
The puzzle was straightforward, but had to wait for muggles admiring the river before we could retrieve the cache - stretch! TFTC
Was very busy here today and spots to get the cache out and replace where few and far between. Our under 2, Jacob, loved it when a flock of swans flew just over our heads.
2739. It was nearing the end of a long day geocaching and Stella was still excited by the whole adventure. She was calling out encouragement to Poppa as he disappeared from view then reappeared to point out where the cache could be found. We wrote the log and returned the cache but she grabbed Poppa's hand and took him off for a walk across the near-by structure.
Thanks

I learnt a few things about octopusses that I didn't know as I researched this cache. Found at 11am whilst on a pleasant winter's morning walk from home. Amazed to discover that I was FTF - 2 days after the cache was published! TNLN T4TC.
#745 (2/8 in and around Kaiapoi). Troodles solved the puzzle, and I found the cache. Hoping for another FTF, but found Bald Ed had beaten us to it by a couple of hours. TFTC.
Had a bit of trouble with one of the questions, but got there in the end. Was surprised that BaldEd had found this but not the Penblwydd Hapus Saith one as well.
TFTC.
