I'd only a few minutes to walk to this cache before I'd to head back to a bus stop to get back to the Wellington train, so I was pleased to make a quick find with no interuptions from muggles on a Sunday evening.
An easy find after a good walk from the beach
Great art work of the tui many thanks

We walked onto this cache after finding Koala Haven as it was quite close by. Just as well as there wasn't much parking nearby - we found out that Saturday morning is market day in Paraparaumu and it seems very popular.
Nice artwork - thanks for drawing my attention to it. After initially searching in the wrong place, we soon had the cache in hand.
TFTC.

truly interesting art here! we were getting a bit pecking by then so had to so had to stop for food - a guess what? there was a cache! [^] tftc!!!
Found it!! Another easy find while on the trail while on a quick weekend holiday to Wellington and surrounds.
We went to the obvious spot, and took a quick look, but since there were some people around further along, looked up the hint, and we were pretty much nearby to the right spot. But we then made a quick find... as I was opening the cache though, and earwig then jumped up on me off the cache!! Eww!! Hahaha.

2pm. A great resting place to stop and eat the pizza from Hell. While eating, found the cache with no trouble. TFTC
We both looked around the whole area for quite a while but had no luck. Thanks anyway for bringing us to a very interesting area. Rodney & Iris.
Found on 2nd search here. Trees not helping GPS. Cache a little damp so dried off. Great Sculpture. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC.
Paraparaumu Beach certainly seems to be an Arti sort of place. Lots of nice artworks around here. We have driven by and admired the Tui before. Thanks for an extra incentive to stop and look from a different angle.

Found this on a quick trip around a few Paraparaumu caches.
Like the sculpture - TFTC.

A good cache; helpful hint. We liked the sculpture and the special paint effects - thanks for drawing our attention to that too. TFTC
A bit of trial and error, came up with it eventually...the sculpture is definately worth a look.
A short holiday with my wife to this wonderful land NZ over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to catch with my mate Dunko who has been moved over here for work. We plan to do the crossing many times, enjoyed doing the cache. Thanks for the cache, made our mark..
Slink1 and co came over from Australia to do some sightseeing and to cache. A trip up the coast was in order. Slink1 reckons he'll be back for more. Thanks for the cache made our mark..
The Tui is amazing. Thanks for bringing us to this spot. Best seat in the place in my opinion. TFTC. 21 for the day.
Find #678. The seventh so far for the day out of a grand total of 36, as we started to journey back towards SH1 to head north to Otaki. We parked on the northern side of the road (as we were traveling east), started the seven minute timer, and believing it to be on the island itself, we proceeded to have a brief 10 second search before taking time to stop and actually LOOK at the GPS which pointed us to the more appropriate location of the garden and seats!
A rapid find, with both of us searching. We did enjoy this location quite a bit, the gardens were well maintained and the central artwork has that neat metallic paint which appears to be slightly different colors at different locations. Got back to the car with just over four minutes left (rolling average of 3:40 per cache). SL TFTC.

A quick find unbeknownst to the passing muggles. An interesting sculpture but due to the weather I didn't stop to admire it. TFTC
8.40am. Drove through here a number of times over the weekend and noticed so many different colours on the tui. Remarkable.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Like some previous finders, I was very impressed with this particular piece of artwork. I unexpectedly had no muggle trouble to contend with today. TFTFC.
Took a wee wile but Mr 5 was not going to give up. His perseverence was rewarded. TFTC
What a hot day! Sunburn after looking for Caches around this area. Good hide. Thanks.
We had been here once before with no success - not sure how we missed it as no problems today. TFTC
Relatively quick and easy find while up the coast dropping the young one off for a birthday party. Relaxed back and filled in the log while a young muggle family picked flowers from the street side flowerbeds. TFTC
Was in the area for a meeting and to compensate for the fact that I can't get to the event tomorrow, did some caching before the meeting.
Only a small number of muggles being first thing in the morning before the shopper muggles got too active.
Had to try several alternatives, GPS initially told me the GZ was in the carpark but after searching most of the other places GPS settled down and told me it was in the only one of the alternatives I hadn't tried and was about to do so anyway!
Visit by UK micro geocoin.

Replaced muggled cache for smaller container in a slightly different place, but co-ordinates are still ok
Will check it out - away from area for a few days but over next weekend will sort it out.
Such a beautiful day to be out and about. Found the cache well hidden and camouflaged. I hadn't noticed the sculpture before even though I have been that way many times. The pencil needs sharpening!
Strangely a long traffic queue to get back on to the motorway, but still a beautiful day for a little detour - TFTC
quick find by the Jr PBH's during a school holiday caching afternoon in Kapiti. TNLN SL TFTC
We have just remembered to log it on. It took us 2 tried to find it. We had to pretend to be sitting and acting casual.
It was funny.
It was funny.
[225] Out 'n about in 'pram and needed a place to give the pins a rest - Lo and behold, Tmann421 pointed me in the right direction and gave me an interesting piece of culture to take in as well T4TC!
I really wonder if this has been 'removed' ?????? perhaps my GZ was reading different, but my GZ certainly fitted all the clues etc.

Concidering the empty beer cans around the cache
I am surprised it hadn't been muggled.
