Still had the details of this one so decided to swing by while collecting a few of the caches at this end of the park, and glad I did as I found a TB in there.
Interesting to note the last log date I found was 28 July 13, which makes me think maybe some cache pages have been removed? Unfortunately I didn't have my camera. Cache all in good order and by my counting this is my 100th tmann421 find. TFTC tmann421, #7252

After moving the cachemobile a little way north in central QEII Park Mrs BaldEd & I commenced to walk the Coastal Track towards Raumati. This cache was the first stop. Mrs BaldEd rested on the seat whilst I made a quick find in not one of my favourrite plants.
Carried on to here after doing "Her majesty's trig" in the hope the TB would still be in here - it wasn't.
A really enjoyable walk in a lovely area though.
Left a pet rock - a grey seal, & a TB. TFTC

Out and about caching on a fantastic spring Sunday. Great day.
Walking about the Queen's park was a pleasure, not exactly striding up the Mall, but could have been Hyde Park for all we cared.
Straightforward find, cache in order; log signed, cache re-hidden safely, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

This was a very nice day to be out caching in a location such as this. We found the cache after a short search.
Nearly missed this one - had to go back to find it.
Very quick find.

Quick find, while out on a geo-run.
No muggles in site, so grab, sign, run!

A straightforward find but had to "do my shoelaces up" while waiting for dog walking muggles to pass by. TFTC
A beautiful spot to stop & admire the view and a great place to leave Personal Geo-Dog Tag Geocoin - One of a Kind. TFTC
Quick find during a stroll through the reserve. The day was too hot for more, so we went back along the beach to our friend's house. Beware - in this are, you not only have to watch out for muggles, but also for flying drones

We were making our way South for Christmas and swung by here to pick up a few caches. Made our way to GZ only to discover a couple of ladies sitting close by which prevented us from searching. Made some small talk with them until they decided to move on. Luckily the muggles traffic was light today so we were able to seach without being noticed. It didn't take too long to find the hidden cache. TFTC.

Had not intended to go for this slightly out of the way cache, but while walking the track it appeared that the cache was not actually that far away. Spent a bit of time scouring the nearby flax bushes but it appears I should have looked in the second place just a little harder. TFTC

Find #1330. Found on a cycle ride from Waikanae to Mana, mostly following the Kapiti Coastal Cycle Route with deviations for caches, many of which I missed providing a good excuse to do this ride again. Beautiful sunny day again after earlier rain. Had decided to travel along the beach and the sand was quite obliging by not being too soft. Came upon the cache location, left the bike at the bottom of the hill and walked up the track to the seat. Was pleased to pick the right harakeke on my second attempt. Nice spot, always great views along this park. SL TFTC.
We had walked a fair distance around QE park by now and I was starting to slow down, so StreetWalker had found the cache by the time I caught up with him. Sat on the convenient seat to sign and enjoy the view.

11.10am. Walked a loop from raumati end to pick up four caches. Light rain falling to stop me overheating. Quick find to start off.
Thank you. David.

#3 today. Another great location - for a rest - while on our bike rides through QEII Park. Interestingly, my youngster noted one of the swaps we placed in a cache many miles from here. TFTC
Fantastic spot for a cache. A lovely little walk from the carpark to GZ for 5 little Aussie geo-kids on a beautiful day in NZ. TFTC.
In addition to finding the small screw-top container described, one of our geo-kids also found a small clip-lock container containing a log also by tmann 421 simply named #18. It was also within metres of the bench-seat and until logging our find for Raumati - Whareroa Track (Kapiti) by tmann421 this evening, I had assumed that we had accidentally stumbled across a separate geo-cache hidden by another member. Now I am guessing it must have been a previously lost container but, regardless, it made today's find twice as fun for the geo-kids!
Very windy walk so must be near Wellington.. Still a good number of walkers out on the track.
Nice easy find on a Sunday afternoon geocaching mission in Raumati with Simpsonsrgr8. TFTC Not sure why this cache container is in use here but however....cachelog is very damp and we did our best to dry out it out but will need some TLC
In the area today caching with TreMichLan, as indicated in hid log the cache is wet.
Nice walk in after dark by headlamp - saw a few dogs being walked with little lights around their necks. Quite cute Cheers Gav [9297]
1st of 8 found while out on a quick mtb tour of the park. When I was last out here the cache was missing so it was nice to complete the paperwork however the retreival took a bit longer than I would have preferred due to muggles sitting at the GZ. TFTC

Walked along the beach, nice day. Luckily read the hint and a couple of logs as it was not where the GPS wanted to be. Great coastline and magnificent park. TFTC
Had a bit of spare time on my hands today, so stopped by for my 3rd attempt on ths one - 1st time it was missing, 2nd time I just couldn't see it. This time it was right where I looked last time. Oh well, glad to have knocked it off this time!
I took some coords while there, which may help confirm the right spot for others.

Toss up here, do I go where the GPS is telling me or use the hint - humm? Used the hint which results in a quick find. (GPS was putting me 90deg off). I just looked and there it was..... TFTC
Oops, I didn't spot that the cache had shrunk so I was looking for something larger. I wasn't exactly sure where GZ was because the GPS pointed one way and hint seemed to suggest a different direction. When I stopped to check the description and saw it was a micro, I gave away the search shortly after. Life's too short to search for a micro in a flax bush. I might try again when I have more time or the hide changes again.

Will go and replace cache soon. Will look at a different hide as second time it has gone.
Came through on my bike today, but no luck with this one. GPS had me right on the hint object, but no way I could find anything in there.
Possum was looking in the wrong place when the cache was found by Bev (one of the Wednesday trampers from the Manawatu Tramping and Skiing Club). 24 of the group were out on their Christmas Cheer trip. Many of the group had not been to this park before. TNLN TFTC.
Decided to make a day of it - parked at Paekakariki end of QE Park and walked through to Raumati Beach and return doing geocaches on the way. Had to wait for a couple of muggles to move off from the bench before we could locate the cache. Lovely views along here. TFTC
Came here on a caching expedition during the few hours that the sun was shining. Good accurate coordinates and I went straight to the cache. Signed log, TFTC.
Enjoyed the walk with Horsediva. Took Kiwi Friend and left Hiker Smurf to enjoy the park.
last find for the day by the Jr PBH's during a school holiday caching afternoon in Kapiti. views are spectacular today. -GC DDrams + TB Kiwi. SL TFTC
Replaced cache, is ready to go again. Left a GC. Please be careful of muggles coming up the path.
Will disable for now and will check it out and replace cache in the next few days.
