Like previous posters, I was unsuccessful in my search although sure I was in the right spot. Beautiful gardens though.
Obvious cache hole is clearly empty, perhaps checking on it might prove useful!
Lovely area, enjoyed the trek through it all!

NOT Found with MtnLioness on our week-long sightseeing, touring and caching tour of Tasmania.
Found the required location perfectly, according to the clue, but CACHE IS CLEARLY GONE. Nice tranquil spot though.

Lovely peaceful place but couldn't find the cache. Searched under the bolts on both sides of the walkway end, tried the rocks cemented in under the bolts, tried in the leaves under the bolt on the other side. Searched all under the walkway and even around the bolts that went back two or three from the end. Even tried some bushes and surrounds just incase but to no avail. Left with our tails between our legs. [?]

Could not find. Looked everywhere the hint suggested. Perhaps it has been muggled?
Nice garden, the day we were there, it was also used for a wedding. But we were able to look for the cache, but unfortunately we couldn't find it.
Greetings from Holland.

such a lovely spot, such a sneaky hide.tftc. Left the little TB as this seems to be a popular spot.
A quick find on our visit to the gardens, very nice spot. Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan.
Our 4th find for the day in a beautiful spot. It would be at least 20 years since one beetle had been here and the other beetle had never been to this particular part of the gardens. Thanks. A great spot to plant a cache and a very pleasant spot especially after a failure prior to this one at 'It's Love Cache'
We found this one at 16:45 in this beautiful spot in these very pleasant gardens. With time fast running out, we did have to decrypt the hint after which we soon had the stash in hand.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks OldSaint.

Found it after some scrabbling around. Had to tell some muggles we were looking at the lizards in the area.
Thanks again old saint!
Truely a wonderful part of the Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. A quick find. TFTC
We wouldn't have easily found this cache without the precise clue. We sat on the bench and smiled at the passing parade of muggles till there was a short gap when we dashed to GZ. Had to wait another ten minutes for a chance to put it back as well.
Not so serene with impaitent geokids. Many Thanks OldSaint.

found this cache after football at TCA nice and easy find but had to keep away from muggles TFTC
Found easily today. Not to many muggles to bother us. Signed log. Thanks for the cache.
There wasn't much calm and serenity until I had my greesy mites on the cache container!
After it was found, signed, and returned, the calm and serenity returned to the area.
Had a nice stroll around this section of the gardens.
Thanks, Robmc.

Checked this cache out today after the previous log and all is well with Serenity. It was still there in its little serene possy!! Cheers OldSaint.
The site was very serine until we arrived and started hunting for said cache. Actually it wasn't that bad but we did leave it in a more serine state than when we were there... Cheers Gav [6089]
Had a really good look for this one but couldn't find it anywhere.
Signs of damage and activity near GZ could mean it has been removed?

A very serene spot early in the morning. I had to "dig" quite a lot to remove the natural camo but soon had it logged and replaced. TFTC
Great hide!
Real challenge due to muggles galore, need to time it perfectly!!!

A fantastic place to visit with geokids, great find sharing the passion with keen friends. Wtah the water with the little ones.
While we were surprised that a cache was permitted to be placed here, we are certainly not complaining. This is a fabulous spot that we've been to many times in the past and will come to again.

These are a few of my favourite things: a beautiful spot worth visiting, bush bashing-free, good coordinates and a helpful hint.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou and thankyou from team bearsleys.

Wandered the gardens with my grandson on this glorious day. He enjoyed the lone and friendly duck that lives in the pond. The cache took a little locating with several other people enjoying the garden and my needing to keep a close eye on someone who is not quite two. TFTC.
One of my favourite spots (we're trying to create something similar in our garden).
It took a little finding, and there were gardeners nearby, but I got it found and logged.

I must admit I haven't been to the Botanical Garden for years.
To drop in just to do a cache is just a bit wrong
Nice easy find and I will have to bring the family back or maybe see one of the shows in the gardens again.

Found 16:40. Surprisingly we had a break from the Sunday afternoon muggles and were undisturbed. Well named cache - thanks.
Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 1140. A beautiful, relaxing place. A few muggles about but, thankfully, they soon moved on and we had a clear run. Our thanks to Old Saint. Great to meet you that evening at the Event.
Continuing our tour of Hobart and surrounds with maccamob we really enjoyed our stroll through these magnificent gardens with the bonus of a couple of caches. We were amazed at the diversity of what this area had to offer and really enjoyed the area around gz. There were quite a few muggles around today but fortunately we had a big enough break to search and maccamob found the cache quickly, we signed the log and had it replaced before the next muggles were in view
Thanks OldSaint for the cache and great to cache up with you at the event

What a surprisingly serene place in the city! Nice hiding, too!
Found when cache was supposed to be unreachable - 6.45pm... Noone around!

This is an incredibly hard cache to find discretely on a beautiful Sunday. Found it in the end, on our first wedding anniversary.
What a beautiful little spot.
Had the place to myself, so an easy find.
The ducklings are growing up!

This one took longer to locate than expected. Teenagers running/walking up and down the boardwalk over and over didn't help... watched two ducklings who came to me as soon as I had sat down on the planks. Lovely spot. TFTC
Last find before heading back to the USA. Great place for a hide. Left friends path tag. TFTF
In a very serene place, altough very crowded with muggles we found this cache. Had to spend a few minutes on a bench, but that wasn't to bad with the great weather. TFTC
A quick find with a dying phone and no clues other than friends and fellow-cachers leaving the scene.
Lots of muggles on this beautiful sunny day and some day old ducklings in the lily pond.

So, here we are on a trip to Tassie all the way from the mainland, ACT...
Well, at least it was exciting for me, seeing as I hadn't ever been to Tassie...
SOOOO many caches, so little time!
This was the eighth cache of 27 finds (and 4 DNFs) for our 5 days here,
Found this cache at about 4.30pm, with Shadow! making the find.
The cache was found in good order.
Loved the area.
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint!
Took: nothing

Our eighth find of a recent trip to Tassie with Fore! & allrounder to run the Cadbury Half-marathon. Did this one after the run so a little tired but keen to keep the legs moving. A lovely setting and a well thought out GZ given the surroundings. Easy find TNLN TFTC Fun
Found @ 4:29pm with Shadow! and Fore!
A group of female muggles were rudely monopolising the area but we made our way to the right spot eventually. Shadow! made the find after the muggles left. What a lovely area and with an aptly named cache. I dropped off "allrounder's BYO Pencil" GC to start its journey, TFTC!!!

I deliberately left this one for a day when I would be in the gardens with family, and today was the day. Freddymjt, Isaacbee and I ducked away from the extended family gathering (going on very conveniently just above the Japanese Garden) and found the cache quickly.
I came into gardens late today to do a multi and this one dovetailed nicely into my plans too.
I had never visited the Japanese garden and took a few photos and acted like a toursit until the muggles left.
An easy find after that.
Thanks to Old Saint.

OK - so a warm (getting hot) spring day is not the best time to search for this one. But seach I did and with no result
Looked and looked but not a cache in sight. To make it harder there were muggles coming and going but was easy to pretend that you were just sitting and admiring the scene.
I will be back.

Had just spent 4 hours in at school on my day off, and as I was driving home I decided a quick detour to gain back a bit of serenity seemed a good idea. After a high and low search of my pockets, bag and car, found myself to be pen-less. So enjoyed a big stroll around and checked out what was flowering, called in to the shop and bought a pen. Then continued on and found the cache on the way back to the car. Thanks.
I decided to hire a bike and go caching, little did I know that you cant ride bikes in the Botanical Gardens (though I should have suspected).I walked my bike around and parked outside the gardens, it was a quike find, lovely place. TFTC
I arrived near GZ and noticed the lake had been drained and that the tadpoles had very little water to survive. Lots of little tales wriggling but they weren't going anywhere.
Anyways, after I identified GZ these 2 muggles followed me into the area so I had to wait until they left before I could continue my search.
Found quickly, logged and rehid.
Thanks for the cache.
PS closing times have changed - now 6:30pm till March

Was passing through and decided to have a look for this one. There was some bloke who clearly wanted to take some photos of the area and looked to be getting a little agitated by the presence there so I quit looking. After I got back to the car, drove to the closest car park and went back in, armed with the hint. The bloke with the camera was just leaving, so I grabbed it straight away - it was where I originally looked, I just didn't look hard enough. Thanks.
That was Snuva's origami!!! I was so impressed with her lateral thinking Unfortunately i'm nowhere near as talented, so I just signed my name. I love these gardens, I feel all my cares fall away whenever I set foot in here. Thanks for a very sneaky little cache OldSaint
A very easy find to finish the day. Thanks Old Saint. We actually got married not 10 metres from this walkway.
Close to a ftf. But not close enough. Very tranquil spot. Thanks for getting me here.
Part of our plan to relax and enjoy today's beautiful weather was to have lunch in and a stroll through this area. I'd planned to come last weekend, but the crowds attracted by the tulip festival put me off. I'm glad they did as I now had a cache to find! As only 1 person as signed the log, it's obvious I'm not the first to forget a pen! In liew of a log, I made and 'oragami flower' with my log page to prove the find. Although not very skillful, I thought it was at least appropriate to the area. Note to self: add pen to new camera bag!!
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
Found today with Callum, we lost our own pen and was not one inside, but I can say, as proof, without giving to much away, the log paper is very yellow.
This little one almost snuck under the radar....ALMOST. This spot certainly is always serene - and there are those seats for quiet contemplation, as well!
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint!
