Too many mowing and council work mugglers about. Will return on another day I'm sure it's there but a lone female hunter poking around in such a place on a week day with nobody around turned too many heads. [:]]
This cache is in desperate need of some loving care. The log is ruined and the tin no longer has a lid. Signing is impossible.
Speedmistress triumphed. The log is extremely wet. Did not even attempt to take it out of the plastic bag. The container does not have a lid. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Raised water levels here have made the journey down below a bit harder to stay dry. I managed though as Fangsoki and gaz'n'kab watched on. Took a while to see the cache, which turned out to be right beside my head. Managed to retrieve using 2 sticks and some MacGyver skill. Cache has no lid, but was dry inside. I always seem to enjoy bridge caches. TFTC.
A nice quick find thanks to Captain Terror who volunteered to head down below

Found it this time! A bit dangerous since the floods. Wear rough soled shoes and take long-nosed pliers!
Log book was soaking wet. Replace horizontally. We found it vertical and took ages to extract it. Lid is missing.

Found the cache today, but couldn't get it out of its hole so couldn't sign the log. Will return with a magnet or tweezers or something.
made a search in all the likely spots but as with previous logger, no luck. Maybe not there??
Looked while visiting Toowoomba with josan08 for schoolgirls softball championships . Sheesh, 4th miss in a row for us.....Toowoomba caching is proving quite difficult!!!
Visiting Toowoomba (with Wessarah) for U17 softball championships, with some caching to see some of the local sights. A fine day to cache after yesterday afternoon's downpour. Met a local who showed flood level - WOW, scarey. Perhaps explains our misses today! TFTH
#70 ~ Keen eyed Krossbo found this one at night. Log was saturated!! Attempted to put some kind of mark on the log! [:p] TFTC!!
Wow we were amazed to see how well this one has survived!! Troubled waters were still flowing away but certainly not as high as it seems they have been recently. Cache was fine. A lovely spot. Thanks Tropical Lost
The general consensus from Lokipagan and I was that we would not be surprised that this one was gone - given GZ and the evidence of high water. Nevertheless, we went about the hunt. The nimble Miss Loki came up with the goods after a hunt. Log was a little damp - but still usable. TFTC Tropical Lost
2nd attempt after having to many muggles heading for GZ.Looked after the flooding , still there ,just slightly damp but ok . needed bush tweezers to extract cache . No 550. Have enjoyed caching in Toowoomba . TFTC
You weren't kidding about the tools, I tried keys, pencils and hooks but just couldn't quite grasp it! Nice hide.
Found after a short search by The Hound we have encountered this sort of hiding place before. In spite of our efforts over a period of time we could not dislodge the little blighter from his hiding hole. Tried bush tweezers also metal tweezers will have to carry a pair of pointy nosed pliers to cover these hiding places.TFTC
A very clever little hide. Took a while in the dark but took even longer to extract it. Had to improvise with some bush tweezers! TFTC.
Found with realtors on her first ever solo cache. Mozzies bad and a tight squeeze. Tftc.
Quick find with Bedmaker. Lovely park, saw only 1 muggle walking dogs but they didn't pay us any attention. TFTC
Up this way for the weekend with TassieGirl13 and this was next on our list.
Found it right where you'd expect.

Toowoomba 10.7. After much bridge practice on the bridge banter series in Canberra, this one was nice and straight forward. Thanks.

A pretty straight forward find after a short deliberation on where to look.
As previously mentioned the cache takes a little coaxing to remove it from its hide, the lid is off the conmtainer and the logbook is full.

In Toowoomba for the Queensland Primary Schools Hockey Titles.I managed a few hours this afternoon to nab a few local caches TFTC
Second time looking. Found it! Log book is full however and forgot ink to log visit as it was on a whim.
Found at 0901 with Marg. Marg had to read someprevious log to gleam some idea where to look. Was able to retrieve it without any tools and returned it so the next cacher should not need any either I hope. The cache is a bit bent and the lid is broken away from the hinge. It is still functional though. TFTC.
Feel like an idiot, twice I have tried to find this cache, and left without finding it, on my third attempt, and with my geopartner we found it in a completly different area than I had thought it to be.

This was a day for hard core caching. Third cache, and the third time I had gotten myself into a very odd situation making for a messy departure at the cache site. As this was my third and final attempt at trying to find this cache before logging a DNF I had decided to just go for it and just walked into the water without any reguard for getting wet and searched high and low until I turned iver the cache. I did not get complately soaked other than my feet, but I did find that cache in less than 2 min, and it turned out to be in a place that I had not even thought of for certain reasons.

Was at night and very dark, no torch.
Will go back at a later stage.

We could see GZ from the car and the GPS led us straight to the spot. After a bit of poking around we came up with the cache. TFTC
A neat place for a cache. Will soon need a new log book as the current one is nearly full.

Found by Mary & David at 1545. Took a while to pin it down. Luckily we have a good set of caching tools with us to make life easier. No problem with the extraction as a result. Our thanks to Tropical Lost.
Found after a while and had to use my leatherman to extract it from it home. Judging by the debris on the bridge, water could have been flowing over the bridge recently, however the cache is nice and dry.
Thanks Tropical Lost.
Thanks Tropical Lost.
Busy little park area. Found without too much trouble and didn't have too much difficulty extracting the cache from its hiding place. TFTC
Goodness me, this was HARD to get out of where it was hidden! If it were not for a pair of tweezers and some luck, I think it would be stuck there still. You could clearly see evidence of a torrent of water having moved through this area recently, with terrible erosion patterns and debris everywhere. TFTC ='.'=
Too many muggles on our first attempt on New Years Day so we came back today and the place was muggle free. After quite a search Mr DnA! found it while Mrs DnA! was on sentry duty. TFTC
We was going to blame all the muggles nearby as putting us off but it didn't stop mr woodrow.
Till next time.
Till next time.
Great spot even with muggles all round we were able to slip into the right area and look for the cache unobserved

Found in the company of a new cacher who spotted the cache straight away... this was my third (fourth?) visit to the location, but the first after receiving a hint when there were no neighbours outside watching me closely. Container is a rather tight fit. TFTC
Second find on a night of caching with our Venturer Scouts. One of the boys found it, a clever hide, and we thought we may have same trouble retrieving it. Easy to get out if you open lid and use that to gently slide it out.

2nd ever cache and 2nd find for the day. Thanks to my little off sider who seems to have picked up the art of cache finding quickly. Bit harder to find than I first thaught but we got there in the end. Thanks Heaps.
This one took some logical thinking to find it. When we eventually did it took more time getting it out! we cracked a pen but finally we got it out. TFTC very clever!
A nice quick find in a picturesque park while in Toowoomba for a birthday bash.

Well no matter how hard we looked we could not find this one. There were no dogs and no muggles about but despite having the place the place to ourselves and looking over, under, above and below we found nothing. Oh well. Thanks for taking us to the nice park. ...eatmorchikin & Stigglepot
Stopped in quickly this morning, before heading south on a work trip, was able to get to cache without getting wet, or being noticed by the dog walking muggles that were around in the distance. TFTC
I see what everyone means by muggle central.. Almost got licked to death by some of the very friendly canine muggles. Managed to do it without getting our feet wet. TFTC.
Awesome hiding place! Overlooked it once before conducting a more extensive search. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ at the same time as a young family who decided playing amongst the rocks was great fun. We sat nearby and waited until the youngster had had his fill and moved on to the playground. Glad there was no water as I'm sure I'd have gotten wet feet otherwise. TFTC
There was a playground quite close by, but the family in the park this morning preferred playing beside the bridge!!! Made finding this one tricky. So we bided our time til they left and went in search ourselves. Found after a bit of a search - nice one!
The family of muggles left the creek bank and headed for the playground just as were about to give up waiting for them to move. We thought the caching gods were smiling down at us until we attempted to find the cache. We couldn't find it anywhere! We were just starting to extend the search when a triumphant noise was heard from dizzyanne. She then made us find it but with the search area narrowed down it was spotted quickly. Great spot. TFTC
Found with Gib69 and Gunnie69.
After making a new friend, we were finally able to go in and find the cache... [^]

Found with Gunnie69 and Silversovereign, making the same new friend. First sneaky cache like this making me realise the last one I missed like this needs another visit. TFTC.
Lucy is a Bichon Friese... Silver Sovereign, GIB69 and I were introduced to Lucy at GZ, while we were patiently waiting to move in for the kill... (the cache that is, not the hound... [^])
Lucy's owner was in no hurry to move along and would have been quite content to chat with the caching trio, had we have entertained him. Although we were polite and made conversation, impatience was starting to get the better of us and I am sure there would have an onset of the trembles had we not have moved in soon...
Fortunately, it was not too long after meeting Lucy we had an opportunity to swoop and did so before and of Lucy's friends came along... With a little help from a suitable extraction tool, the cache was in hand. As we moved out and started heading back to the Gunnimobile, another two hounds approached GZ... Have they no respect for the sports lovers in the community...???
Cheers Tropical Lost.

Extracted cache without any trouble ,but by the dents and scratches on the container someone had a lot more difficulty.

OOHHH MY GOSH my FTF with Straddie Heaven. Did need the trusty tools that all cachers should carry. And plenty of time to out last muggle doggies. We went to start our caching day further south but thought why not and headed straight there and bingo! TFTC
Went out for the FTF but was pipped at the post.
Sneaky hide. Signed log, TFTC!

Yeah!! FTF whilst caching Toowoomba with Dannza. This one popped up as a just published while we were logging our finds from the previous day. Had plans for an early breaky but it was so cold we had trouble getting out of bed. It was 8.30am so we didn't think we had much of a chance but there it was. Lucky we had no trouble with the waters but had some TROUBLE retrieving the little rascal, but Dannza got out her trusty multi tool and after waiting out the early morning dog walkers extracted this cache and signed the log. Good start to Day 2 of our caching expedition of Toowoomba and surrounding areas. TFTC and the challenge.
Robbed of the FTF!
Went after this one 2 nights ago, on the night it was published, but couldn't find my good torch. After half an hour of searching by mobile-phone-light I gave up. Found my good torch this morning so set out after work tonight to find it, and after a short search cache was in hand, only to discover 2 other finders today. Oh well, them's the breaks. TFTC - certainly not a 1.5 difficulty at night
