Despite enduring the clouds of mozzies for the better part of half an hour, I returned emptyhanded.
What a beautiful spot. Sadly we don't think this cache is here anymore. Went to ground zero and checked out the photo and looked between big rocks and past comments but to no avail.
May be worth checking.
Still, thankyou for placing it here - just stunning. ..

Rewind several caches ago. Here we are standing at the three-ways. Do we go to Wyndham or not? It is a bit of a detour. This turns into old mate simply must have a photo of some concrete crocodile so Wyndham we go.
I am so glad we made this choice because this lookout is the most spectacular lookout I have ever been to. It would have to be the highlight of the trip.
Here I am doing the whole tourist thing doing a panoramic photo. Old mate points out (if the lookout was a clock) at 11 o'clock have a look. LOL. Some-one has been doing sand art. I would post a picture but since this is a family friendly site I would suggest it would not be allowed.

Had a good long look and eventually looked at the spoiler photo and it was the exact spot I was looking. I think it may be missing.
While at Wyndham we picked this one up while in the area. Cache in good condition.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

This has to be one of the best views in the world. Having travelled thru the Kimberley it's great seeing the end of these significant river. Caped off with a great sunset. A favourite for me.
What a funny hint but found it anyways. I wish I could have spent more time here.
Thanks Bushies2

The last cache for us today in Wyndham as it already got dark. But we managed to see the sunset over an amazing landscape before heading to our campsite in the bushes. Greetings from Germany.

Excellent panoramic views, great location to compare the views to a map. Cache found quickly thanks
Stopped here for morning tea on our Kimberley guided tour. While everyone else was getting a cuppa I decided finding the cache was more important so I wandered off and found it quite easily. Had just introduced a caching newbie - EEMac - and she was tickled pink to make the find after I had already done the signing duties. Lovely spot and fantastic views. Photos taken and now to get that cuppa! Thanks for placing a cache up here, sorry for the late log, using a GPS and internet is a bit scarce.
Absolutely fabulous view from here. Only my second find and yet thousands of kilometres from home.
Far from grey made it with a stuffed alternator and no exhaust brake for the down trip. All ok with the cache. Tftc
J-COK has found their 10th geocache and dropped off their first geocoin, get in quick!!
[Teal]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

Very good views. Had a day trip from Kununurra. Fair bit of traffic so had to keep watch. Tftc
Nice easy find. Thank goodness there were no tour groups. This view is spectacular. TFTC
Spent the day wandering around Wyndam, chasing a few caches. Had lunch at the look out before catching this one. Thanks again Bushies2. TNLN
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runcible's Grasshopper, a Wild Turkey, a Koala Bear, and a Slovak Geocoin 2012.

Lovely sunset! Bit of a Kimberley fire has been through in the last few months....
Another quick find and log.walking thru the grass is hard so kinda used the spoil picture to help us out dis more walking then necessary but still found it.thanks.
What an amazing view, even though there was not much of a sunset because of the cloud coverage, it was still awesome.
We had the whole place to ourselves for about an hour then as soon as we went for the cache 2 cars of muggles rocked up. Luckily they were more interested in the sun trying to shine through the clouds.

My favourite place in Western Australia. Sunset is the perfect time to visit but as I had to get back to Kununurra I couldn't do it this time but if you get a chance just take a glass of wine and sit and enjoy the view and peace.
My favourite place and a cache to find what a great day.

Great place. Up here for sunset. Marred by a dog and its owner. What is it with dogs?.Anyway, nice cache
quite a drive up! great view a bit spoilt by smoke haze from fires in the area; still worth the look though. tftc
Drove up to the lookout at 1:30 AM after being kicked out of the grotto. Having just missed the Wyndham cup. The whole town was still awake!!!
Drove out to the mudflats early in the morning and this Geo was a nice spot to reminisce !!

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.

Well every towne has to have its own lookout where somebody can hide a geocache
And after walking, or driving up to endless lookouts over towns of all sizes and shapes, this lookout is different and sort of stands out from the run of the mill towne lookout [^]
I'm not sure why though !!
There is a special quality about a towne lookout that sets it apart, and elevates it into the rarefied air of the 'must visit'
The city of Adelaide has such a lookout on top of Mount Lofty some 18 kilometres to the east of towne.
There is a lookout behind Cairns at White Rock.
Oh how can I forget the view of Stanley in Tasmania from The NUt !!
And Wyndham's Five Rivers Lookout is right up there with in my favourite four Aussie lookouts now
They all share a common trait.
It is damn hard to get a good photo of the view
There is so much view that all detail is lost in the photo.
You may as well leave the camera in the car and just enjoy the scenery
TFTC and easy to find cache in one of my now favourite cache hiding places .... rocks !!
PS: In case, like many muggles are wondering.
What is the big pile of reddish brown muck they are loading onto the ship in the harbour ?
Not iron ore !!
Nickel for export to China !!

This would have to be right up there with the all time most fantastic lookouts! Thank you for bringing us here Bushies2!
Tftc. Great views. Very funny little town. Suggest Rusty Shed Cafe for a feed. Fivegooff
Our last cache of the day. Came up here to see this fantastic view at sunset, there was quiet a crowd here this evening. Cache was far enough away from the crowd not to be noticed.
A favourite point given for this great location.

“1CADFAY”, (1 cache a day for a year).
Kununurra WA - Wyndham
OMG, what a hectic full on day, it was an early start, and it needed to be, as we were doing a day trip to Wyndam. What? Where?
Anyway we were on the road by 8.15am, which was good but could have been better due to children dissappearing off with their friends when they were told clearly to get in the car, oh well better late than later.
We drove directly to Wyndham only stopping at the information bay at the entrance to town to look for a cache “Wyndham, GC1VFQ6”, a quick find for Jacki, then moved on into town to stop at “Big Crocamadile, GA1138” for a photo. Next it was straight up to the lookout at “Five Rivers Lookout, GC1VFTV”. A quick find for Charlie. WOW, what AMAZING views from up here! Could have stayed up here for hours, just looking, wish I had bought a set of binocs. Got a quick photo to log “Wyndham Views, GA1136” then went for a walk up the hill to find the trigg point, “Five Rivers Trigg, TP1475” and get a photo to log that.
It was now back down the hill to the town, we went and found “Warrin Park Monument, GA1304”, which was an interesting set of statues of indigenous family, a kangaroo, a dog, a lizard and a snake, all much larger than life. It was disappointing however to see that the area has not been maintained. Nearby we went to look for “Super Wyndham, GC3FAY4”, there was too many muggles coming and going to have a decent look for this one so after a while of looking suspicious we decided to leave it, a DNF on this one. Next was “Pioneer Cemetery – Wyndham, GC1VFR1”, this was a quick find for me while Jacki and the kids went looking around at the graves, not my favourite place, cemeteries.
Our next stop was to visit the local museum to find “Flight to Hell, GC1VVY6”, I would have probably left this one as I didn’t realize there was an entry fee for the museum and because I’m such a massive tight ^R$3, that I wouldn’t have paid if I had known, LOL. But I went in and started chatting with the very nice old chap inside and before I realized the kids had wandered in behind me and were busy ‘touching things’ as they have repeatedly been told not to, sigh. Anyway I then had to pay the nice old man, well we were here now so we had a look around and I made sure to try and bore the hell out of the kids with all the historic stuff as punishment. We ended up outside after a while looking at all the old machinery and despite my best efforts the kids were having a great time running around climbing all over the stuff while I searched for the cache. I applied my ‘cache-dar’ (radar for caches) and soon had a win, signed the log and we were on our way.

I'd like to ask the next geocachers who visits this cache to please look for my travel bug "Ass with ears" (TB48B4J), which is supposed to be in this cache. Please contact me if you see it and maybe you can even help it on its way back to Germany.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Today epitomized all we love about caching. We got the 4wd off the trailer so we could indulge in what we enjoy most, caching, 4wdriving, bird watching with a bit of history. 15 of 19 today we so enjoyed this lookout. There are not enough superlatives to describe the view. TFTC
One of the best vast views in the world! TFTC – needs maintenance / a better log book?
It’s time to leave you guys (travel Bug)! As you wished - a place where wilderness still prevail. Enjoy the views!
