One of four physical caches logged today as a consequence of attending an event in the centre of Sedan itself. This was the last cache as I head towards the hills. If this is the original cache, its looking pretty good for 15 years. An unusual container too, almost a large I reckon. Thanks for this hide Nibs and Auzee.
After attending the event in Sedan we found this cache as we made our way back to Angaston, a quick find. TFTC
Today out and about on 166 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
We visit Swan Hill, Mildura, Renmark, Barossa Valley, Victor Harbour, Tailem Bend and the last night at Ballarat. Stopped for few caches on the way. We had a lot of fun travelling these roads and seeing the farms and wildlife along the way. We found a range of caches. Many thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches.
TFTC Nibs your cache SEDANtary that we found today. The geo-vehicle was picked up yesterday afternoon all good to go the mechanic assured us. This morning we relocated to join the other crazy Canberra bound cachers at a farm block just outside Sedan. Along with Wollaston we headed out for an afternoon of caching in the sun in a loop around Sedan. A successful day with 39 caches found.Find Count: 18777
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I moved camp to Sedan to capture some more targeted caches. HansandLinda & I tackled this one today. A favourite point left for the impressive container. Another great day for caching. TFTC Nibs
Headed down to the Towitta - Sedan area for a couple days caching. Day 1 doing the NVRATHM series and others in the area. All caches were in good condition unless mention in log. TFTCFound fairly quickly
This took a bit of brave bashing through the dry summer grass, but well worth it, the cutest cache weve seen today
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Was pulling out the container when a stumpy lizard and I both got a shock, both survived
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. Thanks for the nice big cache.
Quite peaceful little area to find a cache in. Not even the local farmers are about. TFTC Nibs and Auzee.
Owl and Eagle were in the Riverland for a partially-government-funded weekend. Eagle was determined to explore some of the towns they had missed on a prior ill-fated boat trip. Owl was equally determined to find as many caches as she could. Heading home after a successful trip for both of them Owl persuaded him to stop for just one more. The nearby fixer-upper is for sale, but they will pass.
Today we headed out on our as the others in our group had spectific caches to find, most of which we have already found and as we do not own a yak there was four that did not suit us.
Our plan for the day, well open the GPS and click on the nearest unfound cache and this is the pattern we followed throughout the day. We found all the caches we attempted, some were found much easier than others. We drove through and saw beautiful scenery, birds, magnificient trees, dusty roads and many many flies.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 17. The next phase of my journey is underway. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 7 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. This was my last day up North, and I spent it around Sedan tackling the caches in that region, before heading back to Adelaide stopping for some Labs along the way.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
Thanks for the cache Nibs

Main aim for today was to turn a recent frownie for Nibs and Auzee's "My Sister's Keeper" into a smilie. Decided to see how many other ones by Nibs I could find on the way and to fill out the day any Used 2B a Church within reach.
Was very happy to complete Nibs and Auzee's Towitta trilogy along with another five Nibs caches and seven Used 2Bs as well as rectifying one DNF.
First Nibs and Auzee for the day and found a very nice container I've never seen before but ended up seeing 2 more before the day was over.
Thanks to Nibs and Auzee for putting out this cache for me to find.
*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*

Today I headed up to Sedan and surrounds to get some numbers to help me reach my target of 13000 for the year. I also needed a multi for my calendar and there were plenty to choose from up here.
It was a great day for caching, blue skies and sunshine but not too hot, although I did get a sunburnt arm through the car window.
Lots of great caches and didn’t see any snakes which was great.
All up 48 finds for the day. Thanks to all the CO for their efforts really enjoyed my caching today.
I really liked this one TFTC

After packing up this morning, we headed off with ilook4geo to add some more caches to the tally for the day. This one was a nice quick and easy find and all was out back into place after the log had been initialed to represent both names.
There are so many disused and derelict old homes around the countryside. These building remains have a certain beauty to them and would be able to tell a lot of stories from times past. We found a very different type of container here that we have not found before. Many thanks go to Nibs and Auzee for placing this cache.

Out on a caching hunt today, along with goingplaces2, and we covered quite a bit of distance as well as finding a good number of caches. All the logs were good and we signed each one. There are a lot of interesting old places to visit around here. TFTC.

Easily spotted as we pulled up because a lot of the vegetation closer to the road has been slashed. After recording our visit we placed it so that is couldn't be observed easily. Thanks Nibs and Auzee
Another glorious autumn day waiting around for our camper to be fixed. Cruising around the back roads, seeing the sites and the history. Cache blindness definitely rely setting in lol, that is a great container. Tftc
Wandering around the countryside today as it's the last day with the rental car. Ended up out this way and as we have cleaned the car we are trying to avoid any dusty roads. This means a very big circle but that also gives us some interesting cache finds.
Checked out the for sale sign and all four corners. tftc

The dry stone walls in the area area spectacular. Nice little hide.
What a fabulous day out...so fabulous that we stamped 98% of the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" (the others we wrote our names).
We completed 3 OTD series, picked up the tribute series to the US iconic trails (ET Highway & Route 66) and stopped to find a number of other random caches including ones with high fav points or interesting D/Ts. Over 160 finds - it was worth the 5am start (to try and beat the heat).
Thanks so much for the cache Nibs! [^]

A decision about a day of caching with Goodlook was orgained in the not so distant past to clean up some caches around swan reach and murray bridge.
A successful with no DNF’s and 165 caches finds, completing 3 on this date (OTD) series and some of the fruit loop with a few trads along the way.
Majority if the log books were stamped with FABULOUS RAMDOMS and 5 or 6 we wrote our individual caching names in.

Phew. Mega windy today. Managed to still sneak peak at old ruin. Love the history. Tftc
Out on the 5 day geocaching in the Blanchetown region and today I ventured down to Sedan rambrai and the back to Swan Reach and back to base on the eastern side of the Murray. I found 24 in todays run including 2 PT's close to Sedan. Most caches found were in Good nick but some of the PT ones were cracked and broken and could do with some attention. There was nothing wrong with the container of this one. I think it will out last the rest of us. TFTC.
Off on our annual Anzac Day adventure and went to have a stop in Sedan to stretch the legs and let the group have a wee. However when we turned off we came upon an Anzac Day service and didn't want to stop and disturb the attendees so kept going to loop around. Here was as good a place as any for us to stop and there was a cache to boot. The geoson made a quick find and the geopup busied himself with the scattered bones. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Great views when travelling from Angaston. Good size cache container suitable for larger swaps. Tftc.
EZ find on the way home from the Riverland.

Found it with the help of some other searchers. It did look like a missile. Well hidden.
Out on a mission today, It's father's Day and I have the company of my daughter for the day. Last night it rained and we expected the worse so we packed the TRED's and a shovel.
Luckily we didn't get bogged, we had fun, met other Dad's out with their children Geocaching, nice to meet others enjoying what would normally be declared a miserable winter's day in Spring.
Sadly we missed a few ones that we intended to get but that means we will be back when it's a little dryer and warmer.
Thanks to all CO's for bringing us to new regions for the treasure hunt.

A great old ruin indeed. The pizza oven out the back was surely ahead of it's time. [:o)]
The cache took way too long to find. I was scouring around the shrub that the GPSr was pointing to, and getting nowhere. Mrs J got out of the car, and found the cache within twenty seconds. It wasn't where I was searching, but I'm still not sure how I missed *that* container! What are the origins of this container? I thought it a was a missile when I first saw it.
Thanks Nibs and Auzee.

Another cache filled day in the Barossa, in the good company of Suscoe. After working through the OTD and then BMT caches, it was a change to look for individual containers and hides. Another gem we would have missed, if it were not for playing the geo game.
Thought this cache was in the 'Large' category rather than 'Regular'
Our thanks to Nibs for placing this cache.

Suscoe headed out this morning for another adventure on our caching trip with Phetlern.
It was a cold and cloudy start to the day when we headed out and the clouds continued for most of the day until late afternoon when some sunshine finally broke through.
Our trip today took us to the south east of the Barossa Valley and out onto the plains country between the Adelaide hills and the Murray River.
We found a range of traditional, a few multi’s and some puzzles on a trail which included the OTD June series, the OTD September puzzles, the OTD March trail and the BMT trail which ended near to Cambrai. A few DNF’s were made along the DMT trail.
We arrived back into Nuriootpa late in the day after a terrific time gathering finds.
Thanks to Nibs for placing your cache, we enjoyed another terrific day of caching in South Australia.

I do apologise for the generic logs. Was supposed to painting the outside of our house today, but it started to rain (darn shame) so a caching day it is then. Headed out to finish the Signal series but got sidetracked and ended up in Mannum then home via Sedan. A nice day out this was the final of 69 caches found. TFTC
