Great little find! Luckily I had tools to get log out. Side of cache was broken but log and tube dry.
Thanks for a cute little cache.
Thanks for a cute little cache.
Found the hide today, but had dramas getting the log container out of its host (wedged down the bottom) so could not sign, so not claiming a find today without the co's approval
Approval from the co to claim the find, should of read the previous logs and taken some tools with me to pry the container out. If anyone is heading up that way you may need some long nosed pliers or to flat blade screwdrivers to prise the log out
Tftc blingg great walk great views

Found the cache but couldn't retrieve the container with the logbook. Great spot though.
Left work early today as I've done very little caching since the Busselton Event.
Arrived at the Copley Rd car park around 3:45pm so had about 90min to grab the 9 caches in the area.
Luckily all were fairly easy finds and after some jogging between caches managed to get back to the geomobile just on sunset at 5:25pm.
Great place to be on a warm winters afternoon, amazing views and no muggles in site apart from a few Kangaroos.
Luckily a quick find here after grabbing half a dozen other caches in the area. Found at around 4:50pm .. time to head back to the geomobile. TFTC.

Found it but of a hike for a fat unfit fella like me stopping for a rest before doing some more caching in the area. Tftc..

I was on a fungi feld trip today courtesy of AusTrackers, and of course had to include this one. Had a bit of drama with both my GPSr's at the previous cache, so was using my Smart Phone here. No prob's ... found the cache almost immediately and laughed out loud when I saw it.
Any cache that makes me laugh out loud when I'm in the bush alone is worth a fav ... so giving this one. Thanks for the hide Blingg.

This container had good potential but found it scattered on the ground. Signed the log and tried to put it back the way I thought it was intended. Good creation. TFTC.
Great place for a cache. Found easy enough, but the terrain is challenging. Great view.
Decided go for it - good fun follow kangaroo's trail... finally spotted it - like one... Signed the log. Thanks bling.
Out Night Caching in the area, took my Venturer group (1st Herne Hill) and incorporated Geocaching into our hiking activity. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we will be doing this more often. We took a round trip from Copley rd and went up Mt Mambup and down to the river and along to the footbridge where we camped. Next morning continued along part of the river to Copley rd.
This was our third cache of the night, found at 10.30pm. Great view of city at night!

Hadn't intended to go higher on this hill today but after the elation of finally finding 'Finding Fungi' we decided to go for the three remaining unfound caches. Made our way up the steep incline and made a quick find of the very appropriate container.
Mr & Mrs Felix out hunting GCA frogs a little further north today. Dropped back here to find a few caches aswell.
Bit of a decent hike in here, but all in all think we picked up 9 caches! Nice to cross these off before it get's way too hot to be in the area. Surprised to find such a cute cache in this area, a very nice reward before we made a very slippery/ slidey descent for 1 more cache before the car.
Took some nice photo's in the area too! Saw another couple hiking in the area, they left as we got to one of the caches, but they hadn't signed the log so we guess they werent' cachers?
Cache in good condition too. Forgot to mention tick count, 3 all on Mr Felix so far!

Just what I needed after doing Where's Waly - another hill. A wedge tail eagle kept me company - on the lookout for disturbed lizards or for much larger carrion if I expired en route. It was a cute hide with a nice view and a great day for a walk. Thanks blingg
TFTC, loved the play on the name. Did the 'goat track' on the way back rather than the way up but still wished I'd worn better shoes. Plenty of roos said 'hi' on the way down. TFTC a lovely place to visit.
So great! Thanks I loved it! Final for the day now for a pint at the Duckstein....

After finding "plenty of room" a KM of so back down the hill, I was delighted to find "not much room" , a great little hide. The dog and I paused here and took a breather before heading north for the next cache.
Many thanks.

Well, the weather was much warmer than anticipated so it quite a slog up the hill! All worth while though as it really is a beautiful area.
Hadn't realised how cryptic the cache description was until I found the cache itself - nice work. TNLN, thanks for the cache blingg

Gee I reckon we travelled some miles today, and enjoyed a 2km walk at dusk, due to this cache.
17 of 17 on our blingg quest today. TFTH's. We had a great day.

A fairly easy walk over from the cache Gone Walkabout, just had to take care around the rocks and grass trees.. Absolutley loved the cache container...Well done Blingg.
Off now to finish the multi cache No Dear!.this involved walking down toward my starting point at Copley Road, one part was a very very steep decline, and although it was hard on the old calves, i couldnt help but be thankful that i hadnt decided to do this one first on my list of caches, not sure how i would have gone climbing up this lung burster!
Today would have to rank as one of the best days caching i have experienced, a combination of great weather, cache placement and cache containers made for a very enjoyable day. I had decided to attack 7 of the caches up here today and managed to map out a good circuit to do so. The total walking distance for the caches was 7.3km starting and finishing at Copely Road.
The caches and the order i did them were..
Mish Mash Mush (GC1TB04) Granite Views (GA2100) Plenty of Room (GC1TAZ) No Dear 1st 2 waypoints (GCKP30) Mount Mambup (GC1TMC) Gone Walkabout (GC27M3J) Not Much Room (GC1VG0D)..then down to the GZ of No Dear.
One could easily make 8 finds by including the cache Rapid Walk (GCYWKN) before starting No Dear, this would add a few hundred metres. I had no reason to do this as i had already logged this one.
All up a really nice walk, and i think the least strenuous way of doing them, then again there are so many trails and ways to do these caches there could well be a better way. I have added a picture of the rough route i took plotted on Google Earth.

Had a pleasant walk down from the top of the hill on a circuit starting at the end of Copley Road to the river up to the top of the hill and then down to this cache. The hill climb was hard but going back to the start from this cache seemed harder.
Found the cache straight away without problems. Thanks for the cache.

My fourth find of the morning and despite being the wrong season for the cache an easy find. This was my final cache of four which I managed to do in the one hour I had to do them. TFTH.
Nice easy find, the walk in was 'Fun'. Saw lots of Kangaroo's, Rabbit's and Goats.
Loved the hide

I was scratching round under various rocks & leaves -- till partner pointed out the obvious cache ! Nice one
2nd find of the day.
Terrain not as bad as the rest of the morning (or maybe I was just used to it by then).
Had a great laugh at the cache. Blingg you're a bloody legend.

THanks!!

Completed this one after doing the other 3 nearby caches. A lovely area though very dry as one would expect. Cache found without any problem. Thanks blingg
This is our third on the hill today, and we hadn't plan to take this one so we didn't bring a pen......It took us a while to find it,but when we did we had a god laugh, the name of the cache is VERY talking.

Great hide! Love the cache well done again blingg. Hiked over to this one on the way back from Mount Mambup, and the terrain was not too bad. Quick find, and a chance to rest before trekking back towards the car. Great views from up here, this is a really nice area to go walking in. Hiked 7.6kms in total today, so definitely got my exercise.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Whilst doing an other of the Austrackers cache we couldnt pass up doing a blingg cache as well.
Hiked to the GZ and spotted the cahce rather quickly (compared to the last on), unfortunatly we took a wrong turn on the way out and it took a bit longer to get back to the car
Clever hide blingg as always

Phew what a great hike well short walk up hill and dale. Found cache easily enough once we got there and all is in good order. SL TFTH. Oh yeah take a pencil or pen as its a fair walk back if you forget.
2TF @13:30 + 1/2. This fabulous piece of bushland is beginning to feel like home away from home just lately and a great place to meet fellow geocachers, blinng one week and Austracker #1 the next. Thanx to blingg for setting the cache but a bigger thanx to Mrs AusTracker for making us aware of it before we got all the way home again.
FTF at about 13:30.
Mr AusTrackers had a lunch appointment so the pursuit of this cache was left to me. There were already a couple of cars parked at Copley road when I got there but I had been pretty quick out the door when the cache was published so I was hopeful that I had not been beaten. Not far up the track I met a couple coming down and they mentioned geocaching as I passed. I made a guess that they were iluvtrekking and I was proved correct. Lovely to meet them at last. I asked if they were returning from the FTF but luckily for me they were unaware of the newly published cache and were returning from getting 2TF from Mount Mambup. Mr iluvtrekking decided that he would tackle THAT hill again and he accompanied me to find the cache. It was a long walk up (I'm sure it was longer than when we placed Mount Mambup) but we came back via a shorter route but waayyy steeper. The weather was perfect, the views fabulous and in very pleasant company found the cache spot on co-ords. So thank you blingg you fun-guy for taking me up that lovely hill again from this fun-gal Mrs AusTrackers.
