Enjoyed this one today- got a bit confused cutting through the Coombs at one stage going back and forth but soon sorted that out. I think I had one digit off getting to WP3 and the final, as I wasn't spot on, but had no issues working out what I needed at WP3 and where I needed to search. All things considered this one didn't take too long! TFTC!
Found during the Ghost Tour as part of the Capital GeoBash. I joked on the night that I went on the tour just to find this one because it's been on my unfound list for ages! With lots of people, it was completed quickly. Sneaky hide indeed. Great night, TFTC!
It has been a big day getting up before 4am with Tweety2 to catch the plane adl-mel-cbr picked up by Mabelsa at 10 and straight to Canberra Park and EPIC to check-in to our respective accommodations. Then out for an afternoon of caching. Now it was time to part ways. Unfortunately Mabelsa was too young to attend the NFSAs ghost tour so we were dropped off and joined a group of ghost busters to find the nearby caches. The Coombs building is fascinating with some interesting architectural features. Many hands make light work & saw us finding the cache rather quickly. Signed the log as GB1. TFTC!
A lot of eyes made for a short search at this location. Now where was it exactly? Log signed as GB1 to save on space.

In Canberra with the shop at the Geobash Mega Event. Tonight we were heading out to do the The National Film and Sound Archives Ghost Tour. A great albeit slightly creepy experience! Great tour guides kept us entertained and informed. However before this there was a spot of caching to do. As there was a large group doing the tour, we signed the log as GB1 (Ghostbusters 1) to save space! TFTC
The Find number 13144 at 7:05:24PM on Thursday the 28 March 2024Fourth full day travelling around the nations capital and what another glorious day it was. Spent most of the day at the Geoscience Australia centre on an excellent tour of the facility before heading back to camp for a rest and then off to the NFSA Ghost Tour Out on the Ghost Tour now and being shown around a few nearby geocaches by the tour hosts, logged as GB1 (or GhostBusters 1) **Thanks for placing this cache Mercuryprawnhead**---Nominations for the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** are now open and will close on **17 April 2024**. A wander with the tour group, before our Ghost Tour of NFS for the Geobash Canberrra Event (my very first Mega!). Maybe not as stealthy a find as we had hoped with 20 of us Signed as GB1.Searching was enthusiastic by all, and someone knocked it unknowingly, StylishParasite spied it as it fell. GB1
Thanks for the cache Mercuryprawnhead.Tonight it was time for the National Film and Sound Archives Ghost Tour. An absolutely fantastic tour, don't know how I will go if I have to come back again ?? Great tour guides kept us entertained and informed. Before the tour we were taken on a wonderful walk around the area and this was one that we found as a group. As there was a large group doing the tour, we signed the log as GB1. Sneaky hide.(Ghostbusters 1)

I found this cache with scramping while in Canberra to attend the Capital GeoBash. We joined the group of ghostbusters on the National Film & Sound Archives Ghost Tour. The group got together at 6:30pm, but the tour wasn't starting until 8pm, so a walk around collecting caches were arranged. This was one of the caches we did as a group, signed as GB1 (Ghost Busters 1) to save space on the logbookTFTC Mercuryprawnhead
Day 3 of our big Capital Geobash trip and our day started off with the fabulous Parliament House Tour, followed by an afternoon exploring the National Museum, and finishing with the ghost tour of the NFSA. This bonus cache was found with the Ghostbusters tour group, and the log was signed as GB1. Took many eyes at GZ before the cache was found. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead.
Found as part of the team on the Ghost Tour.Tricky hide that must elude plenty. Many thanks for the find.
Found with the Geobash group before the Ghost tour at the NF&SA. Log signed as team. Good to finally find this one. Tftc
#3565 DeadThief and I completed the waypoint stages of this cache yesterday while in the area but were unable to move in on GZ due to too much nearby activity. Back this afternoon for a second shot and luck was on our side. DT claimed the find and added our names. Cheers Mercuryprawnhead.
Had managed over several months to pick up the required details, a little unsure at one WP, but set straight soon after, never looking back.
On the way home this evening swung by with MilesMorales2 and Czechboy14 in tow. They remained in the geomobile whist I commenced my search.
Took a little while but in the end found two caches, the old and the new(?). Signed the new and removed the old. Hopefully there will be less confusion for those to come. Coordinates were 12m out as well, but that was well behind a rather solid brick wall. LNSL TFTC

A great little multi, and, armed with a hint from a previous finder, a mercifully quick find before the campus fills up with more people as the new academic year begins. Thanks!
The last time I looked at this there was still some building work going on and I couldn't get close to GZ.
Today the weather was absolutely beautiful and so I walked over in my lunchbreak. As one of the WPs is a bit ambiguous - and was missing the plaque the last time I was here - I retraced my steps, but arrived at the same final coordinates.
It took me quite a while to find the cache, though that included waiting for students and staff to disappear around the corner whilst I was sitting in the sun, "reading" my sms/facebook/twitter....
The hint sent me off track a bit. I was just about to give up when I spotted something ...
TFTC and this rather nice walk around the artworks.

Redemption on a prior DNF, after our spirits were lifted by a recent found log. Can’t believe we didn’t see that last time, but we were clearly looking in all the wrong places.
Fortunately today the muggles were few and far between so we had plenty of opportunities to search uninterrupted. Eventually we got to the right spot and put our nickname in the log. We then also found the original hide, so effectively for a two-for-one!
It's a well curated journey around Coombs that does a great job of highlighting many pieces of art we have not given second thought before. We had no trouble obtaining the record information to go between each piece of art, and then move on to the final location (making sure to appreciate the sculpture at each waypoint as we went).
Thanks Mercuryprawnhead for the journey

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

We set our sights on this multi to try fill one of the remaining gaps in our D/T grid.

Despite the general lack of muggles around today, we didn't have any joy at our calculated GZ. We are fairly certain we were in the right place based on previous logs and the listing, but couldn't find anything resembling a cache (or matching previous photos).
Given how recently the cache has been found, it could still be there, but if so, we don't know where. Thanks Mercuryprawnhead for the journey regardless

An election raid on the nation's capital with purplepeopleater and bella at waggy. After collecting one of the team from the airport, we headed south to grab a variety of caches near Williamsdale. Then headed back to town for some more fun around the northern suburbs. Found this one in diminishing light.

Day 1 with PPE and Crash 2079 on our Election Raid weekend. Vote 1 Geocaching. Fortunately we manged to spend most of our time away from town and get out for the good caches, walking, tree climbing, sunshine and a bit of fishing. Lock downs and puzzle nights saw us with an increasing list of solved not found pile and with a few more published in the series it was time to solve the last of them and get collecting.
It was starting to get dark by now and there was always room for one more (well three I think it was) although the cold was starting to bite. GZ was tricky and could have been a needle in a haystack but some logical thinking narrowed it down. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Down to Canberra for a special election weekend caching expedition. Why not get close the action while completely ignoring it and enjoying your geocaching with mates. Teamed up with Bella@Waggy and Crash for a solid and successful days hunt.

Nice evening study break before the dark hits, interesting sculptures and a quick find at GZ, almost by accident! TFTC
Found with Nibletricecakes and Onieferret. We calculated some co-ordinates a while ago and something just wasn't right. After some recalculation we identified the correct co-ords and went to the correct gz. Thanks to the torchlight we found the original container. Great to have a smiley on this one. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead.
GLISS!, Nibletricecakes and I had previously done this multi but we were unable to find the cache. We decided to look at it again and once again we could not find it. After phoning a friend we found our coords were off, so we corrected our coords and we were on the way to finding the cache. A great hide!
Thank you
Thank you
Woo hoo!!! Out grabbing some ALs with GLISS! and onieferret after the obligatory Star Wars event. Hit the GZ that we had calculated previously (and tried to visit whilst the fences were still up) and things weren’t quite adding up. A bit of detective work and we soon discovered our coords had us well of course. A small amount of hunting at our new GZ and we soon had the original cache in hand! sneaky little thing. Glad I caught a glimmer of it in the torchlight. Glad to finally have this one avenged! Thanks for the cache.
Well that was an adventure, or more like a lesson in how to read instructions carefully. After having had a crack at this one over several summer visits from WA in the past we were finally successful today. Being locked out of our home state does appear to have advantages - more caching in Canberra! A super quick find in the end.
Hopped onto my bike and ORIGINALLY was just going to go caching in the ANU, doing a bit of a spring clean up (or a Christmas clean up as it is almost Christmas). Well after saying 'Just one more' several times I somehow found myself at Manuka Oval, how did that happen? I swear I was at the ANU like a few minutes ago. Hmmmmm... Oh well, at least I got quite a few! Like way more than I had intended . Arrived back home 6 hours later with legs that felt like jelly
TOTAL HAUL FOR TODAY: 22 CACHES SPREAD OVER 5 TYPES (yay a PB!)
THIS CACHE:
I had held off for doing this cache for a long time, mostly because of its D4 rating and because it seemed like it was missing. However, I was nearby it and started it. The instructions were a bit vague but soon had GZ. Hmmm... That was easy... Maybe the cache will be really hard? Well I guess it could be, a lot of hiding spots at GZ but a quick sweep revealed the cache. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead!

I was in the area with some time to kill so I decided to do a bit of caching. This one was at the top of my list. There are so many art installations on the campus. WPs were straight forward and the final only took a few minutes to spot. I’m glad I chose to try this one on a weekend as there were hardly any muggles. TFTH
I have had my eye on this cache for some time and have had the coordinates for what seems like ages. Today I drove in yet again to check the area out. Fences have been removed and the gardens have disappeared as the whole area has been remodelled.
I had attempted to contact the CO in case the cache was indeed missing. Without a reply, I have taken it upon myself to replace the cache in what I hope is a similar position.
If this is unacceptable to CO please let me know and I will retrieve it. Thanks for this interesting and informative multi cache Mercuryprawnhead. SL as SG.

Scaffolding has all been removed from GZ but i suspect also the cache. It looks like they also did some refurbishment on the sculptured facade.
After working this one out, we came to the conclusion the cache was located behind a construction fence. Next time I am in the area I will pop by and see if i can grab it
TFTC from the Kayakviking.
As with the last couple of "finders", the CO has emailed to say I can log this find.
I was down from Sydney and did another wander around the ANU after work (I am always amazed at how big this campus is and getting bigger with all the building work). The Coombs building is cool - particularly from the satellite view.
The construction does seem to have removed the final sculpture.
I shall monitor in background.
cheers

We are confident that GZ is now a construction site and the art work is no longer around. See photos in the log below.
We loved the art work this cache brought us to 'enjoy' so it would be a pity if it is no longer available. Many thx to the CO for bring us here a couple of times over the past week.
The CO has messaged to say that we have correctly identified GZ and that it is indeed a construction site and will need to be disabled. CO has also given us the permission log. We really appreciate this jester and will be back to locate the cache should the art piece ever be replaced. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead.

This evening we messaged the CO as we think that the artwork is now gone. If we have the correct GZ then the area is cordoned off and part of the building, garden and circular road is being rebuilt.

Oh my, this has been a nemesis cache for me for many a year. In fact, photos in Upoj show that I first visited WP1 almost 4 years ago! On top of that, I've checked GZ on several occasions since, including being armed with a healthy hint from a previous finder, but each time I've left without a smiley in the ledger!
Following lunch nearby today however, my colleagues took pity on me and decided that 'we would find it' even though the 'afternoon session' awaited. I was ready to give up at any stage but the others were keen and after about 10-15 minutes of searching, TheSquire finally gave that cry we all love to hear and at long last, I was signing the very full logsheet(!) at 13:50. What a saga but thankfully now it's over.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks (at long last [8)]) Mercuryprawnhead.
**PS:** As others have noted, the holding mechanism is gone and it's all about balance now.
**PPS:** As others have also noted, the logsheet is *mighty* full - a new one needed methinks.

I had left campus for the day but the thought of having gz all to myself in the night for a meticulous search brought me back.
It took 4 years (and another 10 minutes) but I made the find.
Thanks for the hide and 10 years of upkeep - replaced with care.

You would think that with half a dozen of us looking that this would have been found quickly. It wasn't. This took us all quite some time but pleased to say that we found it in the end. Thanks for the cache.
This one certainly took longer than it should have. There were quite a few of us here today and that should have made it easier. I am sure that we all looked at the cache at least once each but eventually the sneaky blighter was found. The log was quite small and extremely full and we didn't have a spare between us so all just signed with initials. Thanks for the sneaky hide.

Finally, the public holiday meant I was able to search for this cache! With 5 teams worth of eyes, we soon had it found and signed. Well maybe not that soon... Thanks so much for placing this cache Mercuryprawnhead
Today we headed for a few D/T’s we need a few more of on our Clear Waters weekend! We looked and we looked and after some discussion on thoughts on what we were looking for one of the crew turned up exactly that. We struggled to find a spot of the very short, very full log.
Thanks for placing Coombs Art so we could find it. Many thanks Mercuryprawnhead for the caching fun.

In Queanbeyan to attend the Mega. So great to get here early to spend time catching up with some many familiar faces. Always taking the time to grab a cache, when the opportunity allowed it.
This afternoon we were in Canberra picking up some what usually would be some difficult to get to hides. Being a public holiday, it meant we could almost park on top of lots of the GZ and search without too much trouble. Signed my logs as Happyman and had some fun and laughs along the way.
Thankfully with no-one about, it gave us the opportunity to have a good search. It didn't take long before Di Morgan, had the goods in hand.
Thanks Mercuryprawnhead for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

After lunch I travelled into the town centre to do some caching with Happy Feet
Being a public holiday the area was quiet desserted so we could search for the many tricky caches without a worry.
What a great piece of art work, took some time searching with our fingers when eventually we fely a shape we knew.
A FP given here.

Today was a day to collect multi's! So much of the map is now yellow, when I filter them out I see mainly pockets of blue and lots of orange.... ok, lets knuckle down and turn those frowns upside down.
I had done this multi before, but failed to sign a log.... but after reading some previous logs this time I had a bit more confidence I would find it, and after 10 minutes I did!

Finally I have managed to get back and resolve a dnf from earlier in the year!
My previous searching was done during work hours, and as such was hindered by muggles! This time, I made the attempt after business hours and had the place to myself. This allowed for a detailed, uninterrupted search that saw me come up with the goods (after a 15 minute search).
TFTC, Mercuryprawnhead!

A bit of construction covering up the WP1 area, wasn't able to get close enough to see the initial clue.
The magnet seems to be missing from the cache, so it is carefully balancing in place but could potentially fall into the dirt.
The logbook is also 100% full and will need replacing.
Thanks for the fun

I completed the waypoints for this multi a very long time ago now, I'm talking at least a year ago! I went through all the stages and got to GZ but was running out of time as I was with a friend, and there were also a few people hanging around near the final coords which would of proved difficult to try and locate a D4 star hide. Since then I saw a couple of "Found it" logs come through, but then the "latest" DNF log.
Has been a while since anyone attempted this, and without the DNF worrying me I set out, heading straight to GZ on a weekend where I found it to be fairly quiet
A systematic search was commenced, and I admit it did take about 15-20 minutes to find the darn thing, but I got there eventually! Wow what a cruel hide that is! Definitely deserves it's rating.
The only trouble is that the magnet has actually fallen out of the container, so it is balancing very carefully in position...... I wouldn't be surprised if it falls off into the dirt if it gets disrupted.
Thanks for the cache Mph! I have added a pic of the log, which is also chockers full, and the cache with the missing magnet.

I visited the various waypoints for this cache over a couple of days and finally made my calculations for gz. I searched at gz for around 20 minutes and while I did find a randomly placed magnet (assuming due to its location that this has nothing to do with the cache), I came away disappointed. It is a D4 cache though! Will try again - maybe at a different time when there aren't so many peoples around!
Well that was a bit tricky. Had me scratching my head at most points. But did enjoy it. Would love a sculpture like this at my house. Thanks for the cache.
Quick little stroll around the scultpures. The young man studying nearby might have wondered what was occurring as he saw us wandering around. Enjoyable cache and helps on our d/t grid. Tftc
Sorry for the late logging,
Out for a day of ANU exploring with Aquilus1. We decided to use the almost empty campus to our advantage and get some easy to grab mutlis out of the way. Using the car as our air conditioned office we moved our way around the campus doing maths... and in some cases redoing it. But we got it all right in the end.
Tricky little hide at the end but I spotted it from a different angle.

Spent the morning out for a few caches with DeltaResponseTeam and on a warmer day the idea of a few close to the air conditioned car had appeal! Decided on a few around ANU and it was indeed as quiet as we had thought. I wasn't so familar with the area but DRT knew his way around well and as a bonus was able to park at each location and then duck back into the cool of the car quickly for the math.
Must confess to messing up the math with this cache, at least I had DRT to steer me back on track, not that it was so tricky but I just messed it up today! Either way we worked through all the bits and then a short search had DRT spotting the tricky little cache. Thanks for the cache Mercuryprawnhead, signed AQ1.

We did well, working out each waypoint to finally find GZ. Luckily a quick find here while no one was around. Schools out for summer! Tftc!!!
Dty73 was on her game today. We wandered the streets of the ANU gathering clues, our math skills expanding with the heat. How she picked this one up is amazing. I have given it a favourite for the hide. What a devious mind. Kutgw
Its a stunning bit of art, I had a few tenants coming and going while I was checking it out and feeling for the nano... I was a little worried about them but none of them batted an eyelid in my direction, so I carried on looking....but I couldnt find the little blighter.
Damn... I think I will have to come back another day and have another ferret around

Found it! I frequently have to go to this building, so over the course of a week I visited one waypoint each time I was around. However, GZ was far too busy to actually search during these hours, so I had to visit on the weekend to make the find. Sunday turned out to be my lucky day, when after a brief search, I walked two metres from where I was and put my hand right on the container. The excitement I felt at such luck was only rivalled by my disappointment at forgetting a pen. A few days later, I returned, and can now officially log it. Tftc.
GZ just has so much going on!
Back after a 2 year-old DNF and hoping to finalise this with my few days in town.

I came here for a public lecture, but I was in a weird stressed, confused mood that afternoon/evening and ended up parking in the wrong place and ended up parked closer to another Multi in the area ... not that I had decided if I was doing either of them until after the talk - when I was still in a not too good mood, and decided I needed some "Geocaching therapy" so instead of finding a quick drive by daily somewhere (which was actually getting a bit hard now I was nearing the difficult end of a year long streak) I decided that seeing I was here, I may as well have a go at this multi ... then I did the other one as well, seeing I was parked over that way - lol (I felt a little bit better afterwards
TFTC - nice bit of excercise here and there and here and there ... lol
Quite an interesting artwork at GZ, that I am not sure I had ever really noticed before ... I quite like it ...

Thanks for this nice inside into Canberra's art and sculpture scene.
The way points are an easy walking distance apart and one will get to know this area of ANU pretty well
There is a lot of muggle traffic at the final, and even without, is really hard to find, but the hints help finding it.

Spent the morning around ANU doing a few traditional and multis. Great morning finding all attempted, a nice pleasant walk with hardly anyone around making it easy to search.
Took awhile to find and did a circle of the building as my GPS at one stage said it was on the other side however as there was no sculpture on the other side returned and searched till found. TFTC.

Got our little caching team together for a brief Sunday night adventure after dinner. This one had us going for a while - first, wandering in circles after entering the wrong co-ordinates for WP3 three times, then the tricky search at GZ in the dark with cold fingers. Perseverance paid off in the end, though!

Fox in Jox was having trouble finding the final for this one, so AngelG27 offered to help. I hadn't attempted this one yet. So while I gathered the information they searched for the cache. By the time I caught up they had found it, sparing me the tricky search. TFTC.

I was keen to get this cache tonight. Geohound and I wandered around the Waypoints, getting bitten by mozzies and observing possums. On arrival at GZ, there was construction fencing around it and indications of plenty of building activity, with signs up saying that the bikes at GZ needed to be moved. I snuck in and had a look, but did not come up with the goods. I checked the hints and logs and felt around in likely spaces. I hope nothing's happened to the cache, but I'll be back to try again. We were driving though the ANU, so decided to give this one another go. I felt around and...voila...found by touch! And surprisingly quickly too , after not finding it last time. A tiny nano and log. Because our pen was playing up, we only signed G&D. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead, and the offer of help, which in the end wasn't needed.
Another ANU cache done and dusted! Bobl27 and I collected the WP information over a couple of days, in between collecting other caches. I had the GZ in my iPhone ready to go for a few weeks, but since my caching streak has "officially" ended (366 days was the goal) I have been trying to be less pedantic about the daily.
Have totally failed, and now on day 373 of my streak - aghhh! I think I need some therapy
So today Bobl27 and I headed to GZ, not expecting to find the container (and me being okay about that) but it was the first place I put my hand! And so my streak continues....
Thanks Mercuryprawnhead for the fun cache and introducing me to some great art in this area of the ANU! Fav from me.

Found with AngelG27 and the geohound. Angel worked out the waypoints - and made the super quick find this afternoon. Happy that we did not have to hang around long on the rain and cold . Thanks Mercuryprawnhead
Found at 1:54:00 PM with Batgirl
Finally got around to finding this one. Helps to have a previous finder with you. Thank MPH

I'm finally catching up on logging my finds from earlier in the year. I hope I've got all the dates right, but I've definitely found all of these caches and kept my streak going as long as I'm logging it.
Went for a wander while I was in the area. I'd looked previously, but hadn't found the cache. Had another go this evening and eventually got it.

Sorry for the very delayed maintenance on this cache! It's obviously been WAY too long since I did any caching!
Logbook has been replaced with a new small log, which I will replace again soon.
If anyone has been trouble finding it, it is still where it was originally hidden - feel free to message me if you need help.
Thanks for your patience and thanks to all who logged their find.

The fourth find of the day while collecting a few around the ANU area. Having collected the required info at Asia Pacific day this year, all I had to do was collect the cache. I had tried it last time with a few friends but we didn't find the cache. Today, I had a fairly good idea of where it was going to be hidden but I thought it would take a while. Luckily, there weren't many people around GZ! And even more luckily, I found the cache almost straight away! The logbook was very full but I signed close to where ZQX had signed as there was a tiny bit of space there. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC Mercuryprawnhead!
Sadly DNFs for us. We spent ages here, but no luck. Our GPSs were bouncing around.
I am clearing up the caches around ANU as part of my 'get out into the winter sun' walks. The ANU is a great place to work and I have enjoyed a couple of guided sculpture walks over the years. There are so many hidden spots at ANU and I hadn't seen all of these works. I had visited the piece at gz though and it is probably one of my favourites. Joolay and I collected the waypoints over a few lunchtimes. My gps was bouncing all over the place today and had me wandering in and out of the courtyards. I haven't been in Coombs for years either so it was nice to visit today and see nothing has really changed. I then relied on Google Maps to pinpoint gz and after a short search had the CIH. Joolay was surprised how small a Nano is (and she works for Nanotechnology haha). No room on the log book though so I took a photo and have emailed it to the CO. A nice puzzle with a tricky end - gets a FP from me. Thanks for the cache MPH - nice one
Out cleaning up a few ANU multis. We were doing a loop collecting clues along the way and happened to finish this one first although we started it last [:o)]. Clues were collected easily. Final not so much. Even on a Saturday there was a bit of foot traffic around and given the area, I imagine we looked somewhat suspicious. Just admiring the art of course... GPS was very bouncy but with a systematic search, luckily the cache appeared relatively quickly. Certainly easy to miss! Thanks Mercuryprawnhead
{46} Found with Miskit on a busy Valentine's Day. At GZ we searched for a while and finally came up with the nugget. Having read the logs, which indicated how hard this is to find, I came armed with a hint from previous finder as to the location of the cache, but it didn't help a lot because there must have been some cache creep.
No issues collecting the required info from the art.
As we strolled through the campus back to the geomobile we noticed other bits of art. Nice campus this.
Tks Mercuryprawnhead!
Log is full but I found some white space above other signatures/dates and managed to scrawl my name and the date. Managed to do this without writing over any other logs.

I visited the stages on Tuesday and Thursday and now I just got the cache. Thanks for short interesting walk around this building

#2209 - 17:40; Finally! After several unsuccessful attempts, managed to make the find on this one this evening. A second PAF paid dividends, but I've also put a bid in on eBay for the boots Elton John wore in the movie Tommy so I'm better suited to the first hint . I might have even put my hand on the cache previously, but it turned out to be a little higher up than I'd anticipated from the hint. Anyway, it's now on the found list and all is good. Managed to squeeze my name onto just about the last empty piece of the log. TFTC and the challenge Mercuryprawnhead
3248. This one did turn out to a bit of a challenge. The art was discovered without any dramas and then the fun started. The iPhone and the GPSr weren't cooperating and I found myself going backwards and forwards, frisking the structure that I believed was hiding the container. After a good 10-15 minutes, I decided to paf and although this narrowed the search area a little, my frisking continued. After a another good 10 minutes, it was nice and quiet here at this time so didn't want to let this one beat me, I eventually spotted the sneaky little critter. Oh the relief!!!
Thanks to the CO for the fun and the cache.
