Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
After a short detour off the highway on our way to hervey bay, we were disappointed with a DNF here. Looked for about 20 mins before conceding defeat. We probably should have read previous logs, as this one really needs checking. Thanks anyway mick & Kaz
found this one on a family picnic in this beautiful and interesting area. TNLN, TFTC.
I looked every where around the hint but could not find it. Very tall grass and hidden holes at the moment.
Looked all over what's described in the hint, and all under as far as that was possible. There were a couple of potentially good hiding spots, but no cache inside. Would have loved to have claimed a find on this one, as I'd been driving past too many times.
I will have to "Temporarily Disable" this cache till I can get to replace the burnt container.
Sorry about that.
Sorry about that.
SAD STORY to relate. Found the cache but didn't sigh the log. Why? you may ask. There's been a fire and the container is bubbled out of shape. I tried to remove the screw lid but not wanting to damage it so it couldn't be screwed on again I left it. In a nutshell the container is screwed !! Needs a new one. TNLNTFTC Please add my name to the log when the container is replaced. Ta
I definitely didn't know about this little hide away. Found at 0745hrs on my way south.

Found with Sandcrab Crew - great for new cachers as it was an easy find & had lots of goodies. Took peg, left batteries. Thanks.
This was our first Geocache, thanks to the help of the Smithzonians. Great to be able to use our GPS for something other than fishing.
Easy find and lots of fun with the kids.

Not a place i would recommend you go if you have recently dislocated your foot. A bit steep and uneven.
