So many muggles, such a nice spot.

15-Nov-14
Think this shouldbe archived to free up the area. Think it has been muggled once again.

28-Aug-14
Didn't look for long after seeing all of the dnf

04-Aug-14
Couldn't even attempt this one as it was muggle Central, however some kindly old local gave us a run down on a bit of local history which was very interesting. We were also able to watch close up, a beautiful sea eagle feeding in the water. No smiley face but we left with smiles!

22-Jul-14
Spent the day in Mandorah and Waiget Beach, had several set to find. I think the Muggles of Mandorah were against us...because...

we dogded the fisher muggles, but the ferry muggles waiting under cover were the issue. Once the ferry had gone we did some posing with the camera (all the time in search of the illusive cache) Geo hub searched - per the hint, but I think - as per the previous DNFs, it has gone to muggle heaven.

Up side was that we saw a fishermuggle catch the moistest hugest biggest mackerel I have ever seen.

Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin wanted to visit, as did Runcible's Grasshopper, a Slovak Geocoin 2012, doc marten, and a man and his dog, a moose and a mammoth who wants to see sheep

19-Apr-14
This one as alluded me a few times....but with the updated coords and hint, thought I was a shoe in today! In between the many fishers out today I looked in the likely spot and found....nothing.... Sad However, any excuse to come here for these great views. Just hope the nearby pub opens soon.

16-Mar-14
I think this one is no longer there.

05-Sep-13
Searched high and low with no luck. Thanks.

25-Jul-13
Thought we would leave camp early today & travel Route 34 picking up caches as we go.
With such a good hint this made for an easy find. There was no boat here so made it easy to search.

Thanks WanderingAust & DoodleBugOZ

16-Jul-13
tried hard, but I too noticed one of the waypoints was in the middle of the water.

16-Jul-13
Coordinates changed from:
S 12° 26.572 E 130° 46.091

Coordinates changed to:
S 12° 26.577 E 130° 46.093

Distance from original: 32.6 feet or 9.9 meters.
Small tweak.

16-Jul-13
I've deleted the waypoints, and changed the hint to a very specific description. If you can't find it now it has suffered cache creep or muggling.

07-Jul-13
The amazing jetty at Manorah is not exactly muggle central, but just a couple of muggles was all it took to make a search impossible Sad
With tonnes of personal belongings scattered around the shed it was impossible to search anywhere !!
The fishy types seem to have a permanent campsite set up !! [:o]

Great location and great views though [^]

27-Jun-13
Searched high and higher. waypoints of the hint seemed off so we assumed it was the corners of the jetty and paced it to the middle of the shelter, a couple of people were fishing but not paying us any attention. We looked for almost an hour and could not find it.

27-Jun-13
Our 1st DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 11:53:00 AM, but couldn't locate the cache.
The north WP appeared to be 20 metres away in the water, so we probably didn't pace it properly.

Cache-mint tin was still there but no logsheet so we added a piece of paper as new logsheet. Cache was well hidden. TFTC WanderingAus.

No luck with this one either, the place was crawling with fishermen and one helpful local who pointed out all the tourist attractions to us. Didn't have the heart to tell him I'd lived in Darwin for about 40 years. Anyway to cut a long story short we didn't have a chance to have a good look for this one.

12-Dec-12
Possibly my easiest find to date.... the cache came to me as I sat at the table of the 12/12/12 dinner. I signed and passed it on.

12-Dec-12
Found it on 12/12/12 at our mandorah pub event! TFTC!

12-Dec-12
Had time for a good look for this one (again!)... eventually found on the table with DBOz at the 12-12-12 - in Darwin meet!

12-Dec-12
found at dinner event on 12/ 12/12 on our o/s trip.

12-Dec-12
Cache back in place on jetty... Wonder how long this one will last Smile

12-Dec-12
A quick group sign on this one today. The tide was nice and high when we arrived with the top level of the ferry being level with the top of the jetty.

12-Nov-12
Appears to have been muggled so will take to 12/12/12 event at Mandorah Pub and put back in place as soon as I can find a muggle free window of opportunity!

26-Jul-12
My thanks to Doodle Bug Oz for delivering the new cache container to the end of the jetty.

It's all good to go again, new and improved. Apologies to those who sought and failed, please come back and try again.

19-Jun-12
Afraid like other cachers we came up empty handed. Hope you can check it out as it is a good place for a cache.

10-Sep-11
I feel this one has been muggled, I looked here on a couple of occassions, early this morning there was no one around, sohad a fairly decent look.

08-May-11
couldnt find this one again today, there was lots of fishing muggles around, but still nothing.

10-Feb-11
I searched every possible location that I could think of, but to no avail.

16-Jan-11
Took trackable to start her journey... Good Luck Smile

21-Nov-10
Took some trackables for a visit. Too many muggles to stay too long.

20-Sep-10
Used all the clues available to us to find this one. Then spent some time on the jetty watching another traveller doing some fishing. Thanks WanderingAus

18-Sep-10
Hard to find a time when no one around but after several attempts managed to get with the help of extra clues from gypsyjj.Had to use some imaginantion to get cache back in place after several fishermen drinkers decided to return to the site at that moment. They thought we were quite odd posing for photos there.Found with new geocacher jaingelstayer.

31-Aug-10
Hard to find a time when there are no fisher muggles or ferry goers... but an easy find once we had place to ourselves! TFTC Smile

12-May-10

09-May-10
Wasn't able to find this one Sad I wonder if it is still there?

22-Aug-09
The problem is that there always seems to be either a ferry due or just arrived and the people fishing.
Made several trips the last being after the ferry had just gone and the passengers had left the wharf.
TFTC.

Obviously Mandorah on a long weekend Sunday is not the place to go if you want to be alone. The place was packed with fishermen so I thought I had better not even look in case I gave the location away. I'll have to try on a weekday.

13-Jul-09
Found on a day of caching with Gibbo. Quite an easy find, except for the muggles. Not sure how long this one will last as it is quite exposed and I have a sneaky suspicion Gibbo might be back to replace it!!!
Thanks Wandering Aus for the cache and taking me back to Mandorah (with a 'H' I might add!!).

Today was meant to be a CFD (caching free day) so the housework could get done. Well..... WanderingAus put a swift stop to that by publishing not one, but two, new caches within driving distance (sort of) Razz. A lazy 250 Km round trip both caches were in hand and this was the second FTF of the day.
