Konnte schnell gefunden werden und war ein netter Zwischenstopp vielen Dank:)All the best to you and warm greetings from Germany
Gosh it has been a while since I found a Wanaus cache! Found before too long but no hats around
Easy find but no hats!. Have left my hat to bring Honor to the cache name and maybe restart the geohat generation
Found original lid, then found the replacement container, stamped log and replaced. We all must keep the WanAus caches going. We found them all around Australia. Thanks to WanAus for the series.
TFTC,Our last chance to Cache before heading away. Thanks to all for the variety we have experienced during our stay. Visited trackables.Found the lid at GZ, read previous log and moved our search to a steel fabrication where we found the replacement.Always good to do a WanAus Cache.
Ocw the Bebes as we spend the day visiting Waiget Beach and stop for caches on the way. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Heading to Mandorah today, caching along the way.Goodness this one blended in well, I missed it on first loop. Tftc
Headed over to Darwin for a break with tmann421.Really enjoying the weather and the challenges of the hides.Logs signed tm/ww NZNice quick find here, but no hats in siteThanks for the cache owners for their efforts
Nice find with woolwood9 today. Day 3 of our 9 days in and around Darwin. SL *tm/ww NZ* *Thanks for the reason to visit the area!* Good quick stop for the cache - container fits the hide well!
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache we could see no hats but found the trailer and the cache, signed the log and was back on the road, thanks for placing it
Onderweg van Alice Springs naar Darwin met omweg langs Litchfield NP en Cox Peninsula deze cache gelogd. TFTC.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return. Today, we are riding Route34 looking for scenery, history, and geocaches. Thanks wanAus, all good here. The container is in place.
In Darwin with iluvtrekking for a revisit after eleven years. Beautiful weather and a great day to be out caching. Headed to the Cox Peninsula to do the Route 34 series and others along the way. Container is there. Thanks WanAus
Couldn't find it. But there was a lid laying around which looked like it might belong to the container.
Very hard to find we were in a rush to get home though and we could not find the stuff that it says and shows on the photo
On my way to Perth via Darwin with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Another burn off surviving cache. Great.
Another burn off surviving cache. Great.
Found at 12:19:00 PM(t) GAFF1.
Managed to pull off on the sloping embankment with the caravan and then went looking for the hat city - but all that could be found was some rusted out burnt metal box and it was immediately thought that the cache had gone with the "cleansing" process.
Went across the other side of the rusty box and noticed a burnt out mint tin and inside the was a new log sheet! Well done ilook4geo
Thanks WanderingAus.

We decided to stay at Wagait Beach last night with ilook4geo and continued the caching this morning as we headed off again. We found all the caches we looked for this time.
The hats have gone and the cache was almost gone too as the area had been recently burnt. The container was burnt, but being metal it is still usable. The log inside was just ashes so we have put a new log in for signing. Thank you to WanderingAus for placing this cache.

The caching hunt went on today with goignplaces2 as we headed towards Darwin. It was an interesting time with some easy finds and some finds that took quite a bit of walking to get to GZ. All logs were signed and returned to place. TFTC.
10m out by coords but in the obvious spot but a fair distance from any hats. Just 2 tattered strands of hat left and a dead thong decaying in the environment. TFTC
So, found GZ but old plastic screw top container was disintegrated and termite nest destroyed from fallen tree. Was about to place a new cache container and log, when I decided to check the rusty trailer. What's this? Found an old magnetic eclipse container with new log! Added a zip seal bag, signed and replaced. TFTC

Unfortunately, there are now only remnants of Hat City’s former glory. Reconstruction has begun however, with a collection of new hats on the Hat Tree out the front. The cache is in rough shape, and a fallen tree has mangled its hiding place a little bit, but it is still mostly intact and worth the hunt. TFTC WanderingAus. This cache has cemented Hat City it’s place in the history books when it would’ve otherwise been lost by now. It looked like quite the gem back in its hay day.
Hats off to this cache, scared the crap out of me when I took the logbook out & saw a living in the logbook. Found with Billie70. TFTC
We found this Cache in our first australian holliday. Thank you for the Cache and greatings from germany, YaTaDi.
Power lines had us wandering around in circles for a while and then we spotted it. Container is broken. TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, added four hats to the Hat Tree.
Found on our drive out to Dundee Beach for a look around. Lots of ants at the cache.
Another easy find on our way back from Dundee beach . 2nd cache for today...TFTC ...
On our year travels and spending 6 weeks in Darwin
Today we are heading to

The geohubby has gone south for the grandbaby's first birthday, leaving me to my own devices. The perfect opportunity to attack the cache's along the Cox Peninsula Rd. Sadly this is no longer hat city - one burnt sunvisor and a sad pair of sneakers is all that's left but the cache is in good order. Thank you WanderingAus.
Today we really excelled ourselves in distance travelled, lol! Moved from Batchelor to Tumbling Waters as we continue our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. After setting up camp, we headed out to grab caches both towards the east that we didn't do on the way in as we tow rather a large van, and to the west so that tomorrow is a feasible day for us as we don't get big numbers in a day.
Find #10 for the day, and a really quick find following all your directions. Stamped log and replaced as requested. TFTC

After a few days at Dundee with a non caching friend having way too much fun we decided to take the long way back to Darwin thought Litchfield and see what we could find.
We're not sure if it was because we were feeling so bad or the result of a fire but we didn't see any hats here today which was a shame because we enjoy these little collections that seem to pop up for no reason at all but there was a cache to be found here today so it was well worth the stop.
Thanks WanderingAus for the cache.

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash. Staying overnight at Tumbling waters so a day out exploring the Cox Peninsula today.

#7107 - 14:02; Day 21 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We had now reached Darwin, our most northerly port, after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. Today we planned to do some more caching in and around Darwin before heading out for a run to the Cox Peninsula to Wagait. A much better day today with 59 finds and only half as many DNFs, 5. All caches we located were in good order, including this one as we headed out along the Cox Peninsula Road. TFTC WanderingAus
Alice trip 2017. Day 19. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I had a second day around Darwin, but we also went out to wagait beach along the Route 34 series, we even went though a fire.
Thanks.

13564. Next find of Day 11 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. In Darwin.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.
TNLN - TFTC !!

Day 2 of our (fitzy_1965, LuckyL10n, albida33 and myself) stay in Darwin. It was a mixed bag of a day with about 42 finds, but also about 30 DNF or DNA because of the DNF's, but or course you get that somedays.
The ones we found were a mixture of micro's and small and a lot were in interesting places. Caching in the NT is different to the southern states, so a day of 40 odd is a good return....especially with a bit of sightseeing thrown in as well.
Thanks for all the caches owners and the fun in grabbing them.

Quick drive by. Out for a caching road trip with Wpack01 for the day not too much rain for this time of year TFTC WanderingAus
Was on a caching road trip with MGROCKS for the day TFTC Wandering Aus good place to hide a cache
Found a cache near the location in a eclipse tin. I'm guessing the fire has made void original hints
d here on our way home to Darwin after caching the Cox Peninsula. Pity the tree and hat city are no more, but I guess with the burns that happen around Darwin, the landscape would constantly change. TFTC WanAus. We always enjoy finding your caches on our travels.
Today we had a big day of caching along the Cox Peninsula Road into Mandorah and beyond.
Nice quick find.

Found it!!! Out and about with my GF Kym's Adventure we planned to do A big cache run today and headed out to do the Cox Peninsula Road collection including the Mandorah region. We could have had them all done but car troubles made us come up short!
Number 25 for our cache run today no hats or city here at the moment probably due to burn offs TFTC

Today's mission is to cache the Cox Peninsular Road. BF DeFCoN_6 & I departed @ 6:20am to make a day of it, we are now at cache # 26 and 5:41pm. We started at Mandorah and are caching back towards Darwin. It's not a competition (who am I kidding - YES it is!). Found by me.took nothing left tan elastic bracelet
Today we explored Cox Peninsula and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Sadly the Hat City has been incinerated in the last bushfire. The cache barely survived and when we picked it up it disintegrated. So we have replaced it with a 1kg plastic fruit container.
