Visiting the Casper area from Australia with albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure.

Staying nearby and headed down to try this one, but alas, it beat us.

Thanks anyway for showing us around the town......

Knowing this is rated fairly difficult, we searched diligently but came up empty. We enjoyed the location even if we were disappointed in not finding the cache.

October Road Trip 2013
I had five days off of work and decided to head west on a road trip to try and finish up some challenge caches that I have been working on. I left Minnesota to drive to western Nodak, up into Saskatchewan, looped through Montana, heading home through Sodak, and finished up in Minnesota again. It was a fun trip by myself. I ended up with 2751 new miles on the car and caching in 67 different counties and 70 different DeLorme pages. Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this a possibility, especially in the desolate areas of North and South Dakota.

Only one cache in town. Made the choice easy. I made my way down off of the interstate and parked the vehicle. I had to poke at the beacon for a while with my flashlight in order to locate the goods. Tough one.

TFTC This is a dam good cache! I am on a motorhome trip from CO looking for some new states, counties, and oldest caches. I had room to park at this one, but you don't know what trepidation it was to turn off of 85 on a dirt road and not really know where it was going (the Auto GPS quit yesterday). Since I cannot backup while towing the car, I always want to know what lies ahead of me. This one worked out very well. Even took me into the nice small town, and I found some cheaper gas and a very friendly and helpful clerk. Love small town America! This Smiley face gets a Favorite! Thanks for the fun.
