On a 3 day geocaching weekend with the fiancée & the geo-dog in the caravan, day 1 we made 18 finds. The RSL at Bendigo served up a fantastic feed and after a warm nights sleep we were keen to make a good day of it. Today we tallied 26, with 2 DNF'S. This one, if still here, is impossible to find now with 12 inches of mulch dumped everywhere. Can the CO please resurrect it.
Couldn't find it this time. A whole lot of fresh mulch has just been laid, I don't know if that impacted it
Found it!
Missed it first time we checked, but found a few minutes after!
Log a bit wet. TFTC

Found but could not fill in the book. It is completely wet and impossible to get out of container. Needs attention asap! #211! TFTC
A walk through the park to grab some caches, soon found once in the right place thanks
Got off the talking tram to nab this cache between drop off and return back to the city. Took a bit longer to find because I was looking for something smaller and sneakier. Almost missed the tram and had to run for it, lol. Nice cache. Fabulous tennis court facilities and looks like they will be even better when the construction works are done. Tftc.
Found by edmil & maddie at 12:20pm on 12-11-2016. Just going through the geocaching app that is abiut to be retired and found a few ligs i have't uploaded. Remember finding this after having breakfast nearby and then having a giid walk. Nifty little cache thanks for the hide.
Team Autumn out today on the hunt for caches while in town. Had to stop the search briefly for a fake discussion about the quality of the sticks the geokids were carrying while a muggle jogged past. Friday night is a good night to search as the workers are gone. TFTC.
In Bendigo for a funeral. And a quick couple off caches.
Quick hunt and 1 muggle.

I really appreciate how caching takes me to places that I would not otherwise see. A pleasant walk from the city centre to GZ along the street, then return via the shared party and park made this one special. There was a muggle on an EWP (Elevated Work Platform) removing tennis court fencing, so a bit of timing was required to do the retrieval and return while he was focused on this task, but I was able to duck behind a nearby tree for log signing duties. TFTC ZarZeeky.
Just grabbing some caches on the way back home from the Wedderburn event today. Last one for the day. Easy find as no-one was playing tennis due to court upgrades. TFTC
Quick easy find before we drive back to Melbourne. We attended the meet in Wedderburn today and had a great time.

Out & about it Bendigo today and decided to go for a bike ride along the Creek Trail and found this one on my travels. TFTC
We had to be in Melbourne on the weekend for a wedding so what better time to go the long way and check out the silo art.
We stayed at Bendigo for two nights and this was the only cache I found. (Wasn't really looking that hard).
As I walked down the path a muggle cyclist approached so I pretended I was on the phone with my GPSr but he was not deceived.
He stopped for a chat and I made a find and sign.

Out & about with CPwanderer on a humid day.
We had travelled down for the week-end to cache around Bendigo.
It was a muggle free area giving us access to an extensive search.
But we were unable to find this elusive cache.
Thanks for the hide ZarZeeky

Second for the day. Took a detour along the creek before realising perhaps we had the wrong idea. Did a UTurn and quickly found and signed the log. Tftc
Sorry for the late log.
Found whilst spending some time in Bendigo and other lovely locations in Victoria.
Thanks so much for the cache

Stopped to log this find while exploring Bendigo today. It was a hot day but the wind made things manageable. Thanks for your contribution to my great afternoon.
Enjoying lunch at the lake and being such a nice day we walked over and soon had it in hand

Nice easy one. Daughter chose some stickers, left a little pack of craft bits. Thanks! (Photo isn't clue, just a photo of area)
I thought with the rain this could be a good time to get this one.. Well I was wrong, lots of running muggles out and about... Eventually the cache was retrieved and log signed... Good camo

Found cache after a beautiful breakfast at the boardwalk cafe with relies ( fletch_4)from interstate. TFTC. SL. TTB. Left some smiles for next geo. took travelbug to move on
Really well decorated cache! Didn't find and pen or pencil though so couldn't log it.
After tackling some more adventurous caches in high and low bridges around Bendigo, Jacko83 and I settled down for some gentler driving-based caches.
This was a quick find as the cold rain fortunately kept the muggles away.
Thanks, ZarZeeky.

Arrived here on a frosty caching expedition from Geelong with Pacman.
No muggles today, too cold!

had to dodge 2 different groups of muggles, to turn this little green box into a smiley. TFTC
Find # 3236 @ 1353 H
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
After the "5 months to the Surf Coast Event - Bendigo" and seeing that the sun was shining we decided to tackle some of the caches around Bendigo.
seeing that this was the closest one to the event it was only a given that we would go for a hunt.
and seeing that there was no Tennis being played, this make it more easier to make a quick grab.

Find No. 1416. Found with FUF009 at 1.53pm
In Bendigo for the day to attend the two events and find some caches. FUF009 tagged along with us.
After attending the second event, it was now time to go and find a few more caches around town. As this one was close by to the event off we went. Lucky for us there was no tennis being played - wrong time of year and the muggles on their bikes went past us as we were returning to our van. A nice quick find.

Was playing in a tournament so didn't get to have a great look, also plenty of muggles made it hard. But it was a great location.
I found this cache while on a recent cycling trip through central Victoria; it was one of 103 caches located.
Thank you ZarZeeky for the cache.

We are keen geocachers on holiday from New Zealand and gathering a few smileys as we go. Watched some model yachts sailing on the lake then set off for a walk here. Easy find. Cache all good. TFTC
Nice distance to walk after lunch at the lake. Nice quick equal find by geo mum and son. Definitely need to replace log book. Nicely camouflaged. TFTC
Went for a stroll around the lake picking up some caches along the way, no tennis players on the nearby courts so we could look without too many muggles about, only the odd jogger along the track.
Nice camo job, TNLN TFTC

Found after our Rotary District conference. Easy find with no muggles. Disappointing contents. TNLN. TFTC
Quick find on a walk to our motel from Bendigo Hospital and happened upon the bike path. Then discovered a cache was nearby. Fortunately the courts were almost deserted as was the path. So easy to retrieve and sign. TFTC
Parked at the other side of the gigantic water channels (wonder if they are ever full?). Crossed two bridges and arrived at GZ without being noticed. What is it with such large number of tennis courts, but not one single game being played? Cache was soon found, and its camouflage appreciated before signing the log and walking back across the bridges.
SanguineDragonflye and I went on a walk through Bendigo in what is fast becoming a yearly ritual. Our second stop was haunted a bit by Sanguine's GPSr playing bounce, but we went with instinct and found the treasure reasonably quickly. The heat kept the muggles at bay so we were able to complete the stop fairly easily. Cheers!
Nice camo! GPSr was having a moment but in the end, it was right where CJ-Curry said it was. Would be a hard one on any other day because stealth would be a key factor I imagine. TFTC
Day trip to visit family in Bendigo. Thought we would check out a couple a caches in the area.
Sorry for the generic log, trying to quickly log all my recent finds before I forget them all.
Lord Rossatron and I went on a road trip to Bendigo to do a spot of geocaching while going to attend a funeral in Melbourne on the Monday. The goal was to find our 100th cache on our trip, with our current total on 61 we were going to have a busy 2 days. Our trip reached a little roadblock when we blew our tyre and we lost a little more time changing it than we care to admit. After completing a drive that should have taken 4 hours if not caching in 8 hours we were very pleased to finally reach our destination. Luckily we took a major dint out of our goal finding 28 geocaches on the way, so we could have a slightly more relaxing trip back. A quick drive around Bendigo 2 days later had us find another few caches getting our total to 95 before it was time to drive home, and re visit some of the caches we drove past or DNF the first trip. Success!! Finding the few caches we DNF we managed to get to the 100th Cache. Will sleep easy over the next few days. TFTC

A nice hide, I picked up a geocoin that was here but not in the inventory. this was the last of a 28 cache run between mildura and bendigo before losing light.
We are heading to Queensland for a few months and decided to grab a few more caches in Bendigo on the way through after having so much fun here last week. Caching during the night saved us from having to deal with any muggles. SL TFTC
Had some help from a fellow crecher because I'm new to this but very exciting all the same! Thanks.
