As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

A nice area for a walk today, some dark clouds around but surprisingly the rain held off. A quick find when we got to GZ (due to it's size!), but sadly the cache had a puddle of water in the bottom of it and everything was soaked - log book too wet & slimy to sign despite being in a separate container. TFTC.
12.45pm - Found cache okay, needs drying out, everything is drenched and log needs replacing even though I was able to sign.
OMG the biggest cache we have ever found, cracked us up coz we couldn't find it??. Picked up a trackable to take to Oz next week.
second go at this one - took the wrong track first time - actually considered trying to cross the stream to get it - but sanity finally kicked in and came back today - biggest cache we have ever found - and even then it took a few minutes to locate

1st attemp ended in wrong side of water course but enjoyed the walk in the evening and got back to parking area just before they locked the gate. 2nd time got on right side ,located cache, dropped of TB.TFTC
Decisions, decisions, what path should we take?? Lucky for us we picked the right one... a little concerned at first when it didn't jump right out at us as expected given its size but didn't take too long to locate. As many others have said, there is a lot of water in the cache but the smaller inside one is nice and dry. TFTC
Had a choice of two walks and choose the wrong one so had to back track to get the right one, cache soon located and saw no-one else in the area

A very large cache!! The silica gel packs were floating in water - tipped the water out, but it's still pretty wet in the container
Log books and TBs all dry in the inner container. TFTC, been meaning to get this one for a long time now.

Another Tauranga afternoon. Looking to clean up some more caches in the area.
Have wanted to do this cache for ages. Just unsure about getting into it. Found the walkway and after some decision making, got onto the right path. Located the big cache quickly. Took the resident TB and left two. TFTC.

This is one cache that I have been looking forward to doing for a long time but just have never had the time to get to do it.
What a great area and I am looking forward to going with the kids on their bikes and seeing just how far this track goes.
A great sized cache.

On a special bike ride with the kids to find the biggest geocache in Tga. [They hadn't found it first time round]. They were very excited (the prospect of large swaps!). Fun to find. Will come back again though when the swaps have been replenished. We helped by adding a brand new t-shirt. TN. TFTC
Now that's what I call a LARGE container. Tripped over it in the gloom of this evening. Thanks for the maintenance work done . TFTC

Glorious morning after a terrible storm last night. A lovely track, we were enjoying our walk and chatting away that we walked right passed GZ. Found it easily but it SERIOUSLY needs maintenance.
Nice park and walk, were chatting with my geobuddy and walked right past the GZ. Backtracked and found the large cache container, it is nice to find those ones.
It was not attached as mentioned and I had to pour out water from the container. Logbook really soaking wet and could barely sing it. replace plastic bag and attached with fishing line.
Will send a maintenance log to owner.
Would be sad to loose that cache
TFTC,
Cheers

I had to tip about two litres of water out of this cache and unfortunatly the log book and all of the contents are very wet and will need fixing. Cheers Bo
A nice walk in the evening. It was a quick find. On the way back we stopped to talk to a man walking his dog. We talked for about half an hour so the walk took longer than we thought it would. TFTC
Nice easy find. Luckily took the right track. Container very wet inside. TNLN TFTC
Easy find but the contents are very damp. Log book is OK but everything in the cache could do with sitting in the sunshine for a day or so. TNLN.
Sunday stroll for us, but several families biking along at intervals, so we were lucky to get a good gap for recording etc....
Outer cache was very wet - we drained & dried it as best we could. Inner cache safe & dry. In: Geocoin/whistle.
Out: TB Hamster bottle opener & 2 x geocoins. Will take them to the caching capers picnic next week....Dipped our little Welsh TB Zuzu.

Almost embarased to say that it took at least 5 mins to find. I have found heaps of micro's much quicker than that. Its been a long day...
Nice walk down to GZ, stream was flowing rather quickly today. Easy find at GZ, TFTC

A nice day spent finding geocaches in and around Tauranga. Thanks for setting up this cache - I appreciate being shown interesting locations and also a few quick finds are welcome too! Soon found this one after a nice walk. Good BIG container. Left TB. Signed log.
Here with Tufty on a caching mission in Tauranga. Good walk in, and a great cache. Cheers
Coldstream and I were on a cache raid to the Western Bay of Plenty. This was quite a walk after a day's caching. It was fantastic to see a decent sized cache. Well done!! It made the walk worth while.
Cheers for the cache.

An enjoyable walk to GZ - lots of work going on in the area, so I'm sure we will be back here one day for more caches. Lovely big container - probably the biggest of our BOP trip. Thanks.

Great walk with my son. Not a sole in sight. That is one massive cache. Could not believe it took us 10 minutes or so to find it. LOL. Signed the log book. Left a Hot Wheels car & took Travel Bug which I will find a new home for soon. TFTC.
Wonderful early morning walk. Wondered if I would find the cache as GOS wandering all over the shop. t4tc
Last find of the day and didn't expect quite such a long walk so glad it was all flat going. Lots of muggles out and about with their dogs but no one around at GZ when we arrived. That's one big cache . T4TC.

Quick stroll in the hot sun to grab this one... that’s one big container, although it took us a few moments to uncover it from its lair.
OUT: Blues and Green Peacoige

6.30am. A very pleasant morning walk. Took a few moments to locate the super size micro! Took a geocoin and left two bugs.
That's a lot of water flowing in the canal. Where does it come from?
Thanks Rick. David.

Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 610. Thanks.
Great walk we never knew existed. This must qualfy as the most humungus cache container I've ever found. TFTC
Took a while driving around to find the carpark co-ordinates. Wicked huge cache! Lots of wasps nests around in surrounding bushes. Added a TB. Also left gecko geocoin that is part of a race. Please move on quickly!
Nice Cache! We loaded bikes in the van for this one and went to it! Kids enjoyed the bike ride and we were able to complete Sticks and Stones while we were in the same area. Great start to a day of caching! Took Barnbach TB and will hopefully find it a new cach tomorrow. TFTC!
Great day for a walk, and so many others thought so too !!!! in TB, out TB. tftc
Lovely big cache, nice change from all the tiny ones, thanks. Out card game, IN party popper, water pistol, Avon sachets, tea light.
TFTC! Biggest one we've seen yet, loaded up with goodies, left two trades and TB for alarm clock. Nice walk, would be a great place for a morning run.
A very nice walk that we did not know about good to see all the plants going in.
Came to grab TB's for a trip thanks Left card game for Dolphin.

The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
Out on a day of 'raiding' caches in Tauranga with Twigster.
One of the many spots that we stopped at... but this was definately the biggest cache of the day.
Spotted plenty of 'bugs' and 'coins' in here, but didnt have room in the caching bag for them all!

Went for a rainy walk in the dark with GECKOH to find this one, which made the cache more difficult to find, but was very enjoyable. Warning, the container with the logbook inside is hard to open. TFTC TNLN

Apparently, according to Mr Geckoh (the stat master), this is our 200th BOP find, woohoo!
I thought it was just a nice walk on a slightly wet night to find a kool cache container - how wrong can a person be!!! Mellee struggled with the logbook container - whilst we watched impatiently.
Had hoped to do another cache before heading home but the 'team' wanted only to get to Burger Fuel and drain Mrs Geckoh's bank account (not that she minded THAT much!)
P.S. We had waited for the Gerbil to get this one before we ventured out...cause we've NOT addicted!

A MTB between showers. Sure don't need a hint alright! What a whopper! An isolated spot... but the gardeners came along! Left Fire Fox tb and took Country Boy tb. TFTC
On the hunt with Jumboz, made this cache harder than it should have been, Direct route not so favourable today! easy find, TFTC Cheers Muzy Man!
Muzy Man and I decided to try and take short cut but to no avail so in the end we had to use the car park co ordinates from then on nice easy walk, biggest cache ever seen and packed with goodies no trades - Cheers Jumboz
Our first time down on this part of the boardwalk. Many thanks for bringing us here. The BIGGEST cache we have found so far! Left Swiss Aussie Duck TB.
After the previous quick finds this morning, this one took a little bit of walking. The merry gerblings were not up for much exercise and left me to go off and get it while they chucked rocks in the stream. Surprised to be only the 2TF and even more surprised to have beaten the BOP lizard to this one!
Nice to find such a large and well stocked cache for a change. Found untied, so fastened to nearby vegetation. Wish I'd brought my bike for this one!

Nice walk on an overcast day. The Last time I was here there were no tracks. nice to keep feet dry this time. Thanks for the cache and first to find.
