I started my day here with a walk in the clean crisp air. The walk was completed and the numbers carefully extracted, then the coordinates calculated. Once at GZ the search was on! I touched every surface. I went over it all again. I expanded my search but came up empty. I started all over again examining everything. In exasperation I reached out with a PAF but before I received a reply I found the cache. Isnt that always the way. I should have PAFd earlier and saved myself some time! It really helps if I take off my sunnies. Thank you for the adventure and TFTC.
Today we need 5 caches to complete the caches we need for the Month challenge. Its a beautiful day to cache and hopefully not too many tourists.,since Covid, the Kenilworth area has become a hot spot.Well we took a while to find this one. First I subtracted instead of adding . Fortunately we were still in the correct area. Then port starboard, we were all amiss. But this was our last cache to find for our September challenge. So persistance won the day . Sneaky nano! Thanks NeverLostAu for placing and maintaining this cache.
A 2 day expedition, we loved the little walk and spying the magnificent houses along the route. Learning our port and starboards!
Back for another geoadventure around the sunny coast hinterland. This time I started in Ilkley and worked through Mooloolah, Maleny, Witta and Bellthorpe. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Witta solving this multi, probably my favourite find of the day. Whilst on the way back to the car I called by the final co-ordinates, where after a good little while of searching I uncovered the sneaky little nano well tucked away. On my way to the next cache I saw a species of bird I had never seen before; a Wonga Pigeon!!! Thank you so much for bringing me here Wonder Wits and NeverLostAu, giving a FP for the experience!
NeverLostAu I found your cache Ramble over Bergann on 6/8/2022, 1:45 pm. This is my find 3917 and find # 10 today. Did the enjoyable walk from one end to the other and back again. Gathered all the information required and did the calculations and came up with sensible coordinates. Arrived at GZ and did a search but nothing found. Tried somewhere else and bingo found the sneaky little bugger. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

A lovely weekend in Maleny/Mapleton - took a drive today via Kenilworth bakery - and stopped by here. Such a lovely walk, and the area is stunning. Cool in the shade but lovely in the sunshine. So great that locals have looked after this place so well. Did the counting no problems, and came up with numbers that once at GZ made perfect sense (we'd even had a look earlier here). But took ages until we could find the darn thing. Two PAFs had turned up empty and we had even called it and were essentially leaving except for 'one last look'. So so sure we'd both checked this spot more than once each - but here it was in the end, safe and sound (and not exactly as per the hint, although almost). phew. All good in the end.
Thanks Wonder Wits for entertaining me at this location.

We chose a lovely Spring morning to do this multi and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The beautiful walk along the leafy lane collecting the information was so peaceful. With the finals calculated we arrived back at GZ and soon had the little one in our hands. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks Wonder Wits/NeverLostAu. Fav from us!
Favourite point from us! What a beautiful little path! Seemed so English.
A gentleman told us he’d seen a platypus recently. I would have loved that!
Thanks so much

For the day, I was with oz_bean_counter for a hike up a hill, then a wander for some oldies along the coast. After lunch and feeling alive again, I had mooted the idea of collecting the few geocaches in and around Witta. Some older hides and unloved efforts appealed to us both. So, that's where we went.
This geocache was high on my list, being both unloved and old. And a multicache! Truthfully, I did visit the start location a handful of weeks back, but without enough time, had to leave it for another day. And I was pretty happy to tackle it today.
I directed us to the start location and we read through what was required. Phwoar! No simple guesswork on this; rather some real observation is required. And o start with, we both counted everything, and I began a notes list in my phone. On with the stroll.
Various parts of the walk through the lane reminded me of different places. But the forest, the blue skies, the butterflies against the frequent vista backdrops made it all thoroughly enjoyable. What a wonderful, sneaky little reserve between the farms here! We watched carefully, double-checked each item and the list in my phone grew.
Eventually, we had the numbers we required. And safe to say, the final location isn't where I would've guessed. But, it did make sense, so we headed there. When we arrived, we really had to hunt around. In fact, it got to the point that the word "missing" was uttered. Though, the hint amused me. But with an expanding field of search, I came across the little beast.
Yeah, I'll accept such a container in this situation. And at the end of such a lovely adventure. And when it poses a real challenge for a minute. Happy to have shown some love here after 10 months, and collect another old multicache. This is what geocaching is all about. Thanks for bringing me here, Wonder Wits and NeverLostAu

Lovely walk this one - stunning place to wander around and enjoy the serenity without throngs of people. The views are amazing, rolling hills, blue skies, and lots of butterlies. Sneaky little hide at GZ - took more than a few minutes to find it. This is how caching should be!
I really enjoyed this ramble as the skies were clear and a cool breeze was wafting. Glad we checked what was needed before we set off! Info gathered , final deduced and located right by where we had looked attempting to JetSki!!! Great multi tftc
First time visitor to this area and was up for a ramble. Parking at the first car park coords, read what numbers were required. Seems easy enough. On the off chance had a good guess at a jet ski opportunity as time was limited today.
Again with any multi I over think what is needed, increasing the D rating. Had a few sets of numbers on my paper approaching what would be the eventual GZ. And missed the hide by a few inches. So walked the walk and collected the rest of the numbers and rambled back to GZ where it still took a few minutes to find the micro. Thanks for keeping this multi going Wonder Wits and NeverLostAu.

Ive been looking at this one on the map ever since I started geocaching all those years ago.
Ive even came close by with other caches but never manged to stop here for some reason.
After talking to the CO earlier in the week and some time on my hands, I decided to come have a look at this one a bit closer.
Quite amazed there is a lane/walkway here between the properties. Would of probably been used to move cattle between yards at one point, but now is a designated walkway.Quite wonderful idea for the location.
After completing the walk and visiting the areas mentioned in the description,
I had some great numbers that placed me in an most likely location.
You can sorta see that the old Caloundra Shire spent the money on the upkeep, but the amalgamation of the Sunshine Coast Council has left some of the areas in tardy conditions.
So, quite fitting after the holiday in the old shire a couple of days ago,
I make this find this day.
919 days since last found.
Thanks fore multi Wonder Wits/NeverLostAu

Found the place after getting all the clues. Made sense and we looked everywhere. Pretty sure this one is not here anymore.
When counting some planks on the board walks, I got to thinking about the methods different people must use so they don't miscount them. I use the step on each plank and count aloud technique. As long as you don't fall over or get confused looking up to see how far to go it's all OK.
Walking along the reserve I was counting down all the information and trying to keep track of everything. Suddenly the path turned from grassy stroll into a scene from the jungle book. Gone were the cows and horses and I had to keep an eye open for tigers and panthers. A rainforest isn't quite a jungle but it felt like a different country.
A quick recount of the western bridge and I walked up to some shade to plot a final. The final definitely seemed correct and closing in I could see the clue made sense but I wasn't taking part in the dance. My first nano of the day and of course I had to have a couple of cracks of winding the log up to get it back in. My exercise of the day now complete I can get back in the car and really work for it. tftc

I was in the area today turning a couple of these icons into smileys.
I made the walk along the path taking note of the items required in the questions and at the other end, made the calculations and navigated back to what I thought was the coordinates however a search here was fruitless and there were not too many places that a cache could be.
I went over my workings and realised where I had made a crucial error and after having another set of coordinates I was at a more likely place.
After a quick search the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #922

Since transferring this cache to NeverLostAu it's been showing up as a non-smiley on my map. Today I set out to sign the log and grabbed my glasses, phone and keys from the car. I wandered briskly to GZ and refound the cache... and realised that the one thing I hadn't grabbed from the car was a pen. Gah! Well, having walked here once, I figured I could do it twice. Returned with a pen and duly signed the log. Thanks, NeverLostAu for maintaining this cache, it's well worth the ramble.
Found it I enjoyed this one so much once we worked out the puzzles was easily found tftc
Mr 7 found this one after deciphering the clue, thanks for a great afternoon. Watch out for cow pats on the path!
I was staying in Maleny for the weekend to attend a wedding this afternoon. While the rest of the family slept in and lazed away the morning, I headed out bright and early to do some caching to fill the time.
It was a perfect morning to be out in the countryside today. After finding a good collection of caches this morning it was time to start heading back to get ready for the wedding. But knowing the girls would still be fluffing about preening in front of the mirrors, I didn't want to subject myself to that so decided to grab this cache along the way. All the information was found without issue and after crunching the numbers the cache was found safe and well. TFTC

Dropped geowife off at Maleny for her knitting group and headed in this direction. GPS took me to the wrong end of the lane but I soon found the beginning and started my walk to collect the clues - a beautiful place to walk that reminded me of the bridleways in the UK. With all the information gathered and the maths done, I started my return along the path to GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Signed and returned as found, thoroughly enjoyed this one - a favourite point from me. TFTC NeverLostAu
Up at Maleny for the day checking in on the parents' house while they are away and thought we would finish off this other one in Witta. We had found Dragonfly Swamp last week after accidentally following the phone navigator and not reading the description carefully enough and driving most of the way in the car! Today we parked near the first foot bridge and wandered along the track. Cool day but sunny so we were soon warm enough to remove jumpers.
We gathered half the clues and had some parts of it from our visit the other day but we deciphered the hint and it wasn't long before we noticed a likely spot. Yes - hand straight on it!! Yay!!
That saved a bit of time and feeling slightly guilty that we didn't walk the whole way, we did see the whole lane in one way or another over the two trips.
#922 @ 1200h
This really is off the beaten track though with no finds since November, 8 months ago...!

Visiting Maleny and I wanted to do both the caches in this lane. The properties on both sides belonged to my grandparents and my uncle. We spent many happy times playing in this area when we were kids. Enjoyed the walk along this track, working out the information as we went. The cache was found, signed and replaced. TFTC
TFTC! No finds for nearly six months?! Well I'm just going to have to travel half way round the world to check everything's in order!
I last visited Witta in 2006, long before this geocache existed, and long before I'd heard of geocaching. But I got into it in 2009, roughly at the same time this cache appeared 10,500 miles from ma wee hoose, and I've been plotting my return ever since.
A million favourite points, if I could.

and to check out the gorgeous cow that was watching us
that belly is very big

After a crazy morning I finally picked barbbowman up, off we zoomed up the highway and then up the mountain! I was extra keen to find this one knowing now that it was indeed still in place. We parked Spangle near the creek and then crossed the bridge, I heard a distinctive squawk and looked over to see a Yellow-tailed Black-cockatoo Such lovely birds!
We continued on saying hello to a few cows and enjoying the lovely, rolling green hills on either side of the track. barbbowman had success in finding the dragonfly swamp cache and then we head to the final for this one. At GZ it took only a second until the cache was in hand. We sat and signed the log while a curious cow come closer to inspect us.
Thanks for the cache NeverLostAu

I found the cache just where it should be the other day but did a little maintenance to help it stay in place. Also replaced the log sheet, so all is fine for the next visitor. Thanks for your efforts and hope you enjoy the beautiful walk!
With a free morning I thought I would go for a drive and see if I could find this one. I parked Spangle at the suggested parking coords, put on a jacket and hit the track. I enjoyed the lovely walk between the farms and said hello to a few cows, while collecting the required information and getting a bit wet. With all the necessary data found I nutted out the final coords.
I hunted about for a while but came up empty handed From reading the hint and seeing that this one has not been found for some amount of time, I'm wondering if it is still there?
Anyway..... Thanks for the walk NeverLostAu I will be back!

Found while out with us3scouts and Parko's. Solved the clues and set of for the final destination and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Wonder Wits.
Had an enjoyable time finding this multi with us3scouts and seirra1. Us Parko's often don't find things the conventional way so took a few short cuts
Thanks Wonder Wits
Thanks Wonder Wits
We counted and double checked the clues for this cache and felt we had it solved. We approached GZ and I started to think we were off the mark but seirra1 found the prize for us right where it should be. Thanks for the ramble and cache Wonder Wits.
What a great amble through the countryside [^]
I had read the cache notes and therefore chose to ignore the clues
A pleasant ramble along the laneway soon got me to a likely GZ.
And voila, a cache upon
TFTC and stroll.

Yay finally found it. it was in need of repair so i have taken it home to fix it and i will return it now. add another one to D. we found we where a bit off. TFTC it was very enjoyable.
haha what a crack up. I didn't read the instructions properly. Will defiantly be going back to try again.
Nice little puzzle in a lovely rural setting. Thanks for bringing us here to solve it. I must remember my glasses for these little logs! TFTC
1169. Returned today, did others around here july 2010 with people "who didn't like to walk" so thought about time I finished the cluster around Bergann Lane off. Started at the suggested parking spot, Great day for a morning stroll, acted like a kid counting the bridge planks and sat on every seat, watched the cows and dragonflys walked through the spooky forest to the west road.
Sat and did the sums, headed back a bit toward the east and started looking where the etrex pointed no luck ? magnetic- perhaps its 25 meters back there ( perhaps i've messed up the numbers ), somebodys been here the grass is all trampled ( a nano - please don't drop in the grass, in the Description ) 25 minute look here, definately ain't here.
Recheck the sums, Wait a minute I did a cache where I parked (jellyfish or something like that ) two years ago, I added an extra number to D and off again in search, mmm, not many metalic things here but still a likely spot, drop the backpack and look harder, sneeky hidden little Bug_er - I found Ya.
Signed ( a near newly replaced ) log 11:30am.
Thanks Eve -Wonder Wits TFTC - a fine sunny winters morning spent enjoyably !

Walked the full length of the walk. Enjoyed walking through the remnant of rainforest. Answered all the questions. Felt where cache should have been and just felt a rough spot. Placed a nano at GZ. Hint same as first bit, then look around. TNLN TFTC Thanks for setting this cache up Wonder Wits, I enjoyed doing it and enjoyed coming to this well kept path.
Well this was a challenging and enjoyable little multi. I totally parked in the wrong place - but still enjoyed the walk in. I collected the clues - double checking as I went (I have a "history" of screwing up counting things).
I collected all the clues and I made my way to the final GZ. Hmmm. This can't be right. I jigged the numbers and finally came up with something likely. Sure enough - I found the cache safe and sound. I do like a cache that has not been found in a while
Errr - is it possible "Question D" might need some rectification?
Otherwise very enjoyable - and loved the area. TFTC Wonder Wits

A pleasant walk from the south end.
The container needs regluing to the magnet. Hope it doesn't fall off completely.
On a visit from NZ, we left drought and found rain.
It rained and rained and rained
The average fall was well maintained
And when the tracks were simply bogs
It stared raining cats and dogs.
After a drought of half an hour
We had a most refreshing shower
And then most curious thing of all
A gentle rain began to fall.
Next day but one was fairly dry
Save for a deluge from the sky
Which wetted the party to the skin
And then at last the rain set in.

Found this one today (with the other 2 on the track) on a tour of Maleny. Great spot & a good workout with the geotoddler in the pram. TFTC Wonder Wits
Great walk down Bergann Lane. Did it some time ago for the other caches in the area but for some reason the notification for this one was received a day after I was here. I can still remember the feeling of horror after touching one of them though.
Great spot for some great caches and great fun doing this one. Thanks Wonder Wits.

I did more walking than initially planned on this cache. The walk while collecting info for the final GZ was great. Saw lots of birds including a Satin Bowerbird. I wrote down the required info as I went then, when I had all the info, I consulted my ipod to see how to put the information together for the coords - and the battery had died!!.
What do I do now? Only one thing to do - walk all the way back to the geovehicle, plug the ipod into the cig lighter to charge it up enough to get it working, get the required info from it, then a walk back along the track to the calculated GZ. I did all that and persistence paid off with a FIND. The advantage was I saw some different birds on the walk back . TFTC and exercise Wonder Wits.

1205hrs. A nice warm day for a ramble. Had fun counting but somewhere we were still out a little. A bit of a look and we found it though so all was good. TFTCSL
Aha, a design weakness! A more robust version is now installed and cache is back in place.
Found with Marg at 1132. Once we had worked out the co ord the find was easy. the clue also helped when we decoded it. The cache was ok that is until Marg got at it, when she unscrewed it to get the log strip, she must of lost the magnet. Anyway the cache would not reattach it self to the hiding spot. We looked around for the magnet but couldn't find it. So we hid it under a leaf at the back of the feature. Sorry for the inconvienence.
Suspected this cache location on the way past, and confirmed it after collecting the clues. Unfortunately the pen we were carrying ran out writing down clue answers and did not last long enough to sign the log. TFTC.
A pleasant stroll along the walkway with the owner as I collected the required information and a cache or two. Doing the maths is always fun and getting it wrong is always the norm for me. A smack on the head and a recal and the co-ords were in the GPS. Nearing GZ I saw that The Lost Bunch had already arrived and I soon confirmed that he had claimed the FTF, well done. I was about to undo the little devil for the extraction of the log but was saved the embarrasment as TLB hadn't had time to replace it!
A very nicely put together multi WW and I hope you liked my counting dance! Thanks for showing me a nice location and a big thanks for joining me for the walk.

Met up with Konie and The Lost Bunch who happened to be rambling about. Most entertaining... Also a great opportunity to check and fine tune the multi instructions, thanks.
