The branch this one was on appears to be MIA. Consider container to be sleeping with the fishes....not that there are any fishes in the vicinity.
My grandad and I tried this cache yesterday, but we were too cautious to get the cache. Today, I brought my Uncle (who is visiting here from North America) to try the cache.
I pointed out the cache to my Uncle and he thought he could do it. He started the climb and after some tough manouvering, he grabbed the cache! He passed the logbook down to me, I signed it and brought it back up to him.
All climbing credit goes to my Uncle!!
Our thanks to BatGirlandCo.

Well we spotted it, but at six plus metres off the ground it was too high for us. I have seen easier 4 star terrain caches than this. That might have been why we didn't find it last time as we trusted it was a 2.5 star terrain, when it isn't, and as such didn't look high enough. We will need to return with equipment to get this.
We came, we saw, I climbed part way up the tree, but it was too high. We'll be back with equipment.
It's a cool morning, etc. Now, continuing the walk, we slogged up the hill and struck the scrub around this one. I found this one all right, but, even though I had a couple of nice soft GeoSchnauzers to cushion my fall, I decided not to climb the tree. I'll come back with some friends for this one. I got a few glimpses of the view. I reckon it would be excellent from the top of the tree. TFTC.
Got roped into doing the maintenance for Batgirl. . Tricky cache, but great views from GZ!
Oops! I was using a cache description of this one I had loaded in to the phone a few months a go and didn't realise it was out of order a tthe present. Found easily, although getting it was still a little tricky. TFTC and sorry for finding it whilst it was out of commsion.
As were around the area and the weather was still nice we decided to clear few more. Arrived at GZ and had a bit of a search around, then read a few logs and realised that we were looking in the wrong direction. So changed our tack and as we were about to attempt a search we located the cache at our feet, luck, maybe. Placed back where we thought it might have been, CO might need to check that it is okay. TFTC
Two of us took turns climbing the tree without managing to find the cache. We also searched the ground underneath.
Well, I definitely found the right tree (matches pictures) but I don't think it is there anymore.
Two of us checked and the ground under in case it had fallen to the ground..nothing!!!!

It took a little bit of searching but, once we stopped to think a little harder about the name of the cache, it took around 10 seconds. A bit of a stretch for an old bloke to do the climbing thing but I managed it in the end with the help of my able 13 year old geo-assistant. TFTC!
Fit people need only apply. I saw it from above, and not where you expect
it to be:-) Nice.
it to be:-) Nice.
A quick find with the Jr Cachehunters who made a quick spot from the ground.

this was a hard one for a night cache due to the colour of the micro, but we eventually found it. It was a bit disconcerting find your way back in the dark through the kangaroos- Shane Rattenbury MP was attacked by one only last week!
Found @ 2:27pm
For some reason I though I needed to go higher than I did. I even returned to ground level to grab a tool to search a higher nook. When I ignored this spot and turned around, there was the cache just daring me to grab it. The retrieval of the log was simple but returning it without dropping it was a little tricker and safely achieved.
Thanks BatGirlandCo

I am confused - this cache has a difficulty of one star - from reading other entries (after I arrived at GZ) it appears tree climbing is involved. One star is far too low. I climbed the lower section, couldn't see the cache and didn't feel safe to climb any higher, especially as I was caching alone.
A nice walk in an area I used to run around as a kid, and am now bringing my own geokids here on a visit to their Grandparents.
I didn't find it earlier on account of my gps telling me I was halfway between the moon and mars. However after I gave my gps a good stern talking to, I found it with ease.
Good cache.
Good cache.
Lovely cool day with full cloud ... Enjoyed walk on national park for caches area... Wow heaps of kangaroos everywhere, look cute... searched for age as found one, ummmmmm tried to best to get up as success get cache, PHEEW, my leg so shake after down... tricky hide well thanks
Slightly different position as the previous locale had been disassembled. It is possible the old container is still not too far away and on the ground somewhere. However the leaf/bark litter and general level of detrius meant I certainly wasn't going to be able to find it without a metal detector or large magnetic hoover. Having neither of these items in my standard cache maintenance kit I opted for a straight out replacement instead.
Sunday 16 September 2012 - on a warm cloudy afternoon this cache was not to be found. We climbed the tree, searched the ground, climbed the tree again, and searched the ground again. Would love the photo offered by vespaFamily thx.
Given recent DNF's will take off line until I have a chance to get out and check on it.
Couldn't see it. Partially climbed the tree (I'm not good at this), but still didnt see it. Previous log indicates it may have moved.
We returned and triumphed ... But only by noticing a purple container on the ground after having almost given up again. Last name lodged was in march. Didn't put the log on the ground, but found a place for it... Then didn't have a pen! Taken a photo of placement if you need it. TFTC.
Got partway there but the gale-force winds and the fact that I am by myself made me rethink. I'll be back!
Found the tree, found the rope, climbed the tree, found what looked to be where the cache should be, but didn't find the cache...
210. A quick find while doing a few caches in the area after work. Although I had no idea what to expect before arriving at GZ. TFTC.
We don't really understand the hint, but we saw a device prepared that has assisted us in finding the cache. Tftc
Found @ 1115 on a caching run while the weather held. I took a slow meandering route to GZ, where the cache was easily spotted - rather than being in a crevice, it was hung in plain sight. Even with a wind blowing I was able to collect the goods without resorting to the 'assist' and staying remarkably clean. In fact, it was such a fun climb I did it 3 times - once to retrieve, once to return, and a third to move it to a likely-looking crevice as requested in the description. TNLNSL - TFTC BatGirl&Co
Awesome spot! and never before have a come across a cache such as this. Lucky I had a number of GeoFriends and a GeoHound to sniff this one out. Keep looking up. TFTC!
The last one in this section and about 15 so far today. Poor tired geomum sat on a huge fallen tree trunk while MtnLioness and I went in to retrieve the cache. After about 20mins she came looking for us as our GPS had gone a bit haywire and we were wandering around in circles again. Geomum looked at our Tracks on the GPS and said "you walked right past it" and then pointed us in the right direction. Very quickly we then found GZ but having been told it was about head height we had to laugh at this. Having been taken unknowingly up Eliza Elixa by Batgirl we knew this would not be a straight out easy cache but lucky I love climbing!
Found on a day out caching the ACT with fellow Adelaidian OneHippieChick. We finished our walk around this hill with this one and as my GPS just couldn't fix itself on any one particular tree, even the ones we thought looked, we were pointed in a better direction, I dialed-a-Dad and his advise was it was at head height! Yeah sure! FOR A GIANT PERHAPS!!! Thanx Dad!
Good thing that hippy loves climbing spider covered trees!
I swear I made her climb 3 others before we found the right one!
Check out her pics!

After successfully unleashing my new caching weapon on the nearby Bubble Bobble, I thought, why not unleash her on a tree climb. I mean, she is only recovering from a broken patella ! So, she did the climb (in white jeans), I looked on in horror and then she spied the cache, not in a crevace but quite visible. I'm not sure if that is the right spot but we (ha ha) replaced it where we found it.
Took sus while to get to GZ with 6 kids in tow, but once we got there the two oldest boys found it while I was checking the GPSr. TFTC
Made the approach the hard way through the scrub. Had a good idea where it might be but was confused by the hints given in the description. Anyway only took a moment to spot and all was well. Thanks.
Found with Fraggles and Wasptor. I found the cache, and then pointed it out for Fraggles to retrieve. TFTC
Our fourth DNF retry and Lucky for us we had our son T-rex 05 with us as he spotted very quickly at GZ, so quickly in fact that it left Wasptor and myself feeling rather embarrassed , TFTC!!
Just reading the cache description now, we didn't find it in a crevice. We just saw it hanging in the tree. Made for an easy find this time though. Thanks for the cache, and the climb that I had last time.
Found on a days caching run with The Rats in the southern suburbs of Canberra.
This was the next cache on our tour of the hill. TFTC!

This was one of a few caches that Steeba and I managed to grab on days caching around Canberra.
Arriving at GZ we scratched our heads for a while, then the cache was found. This is similar to one back in Wollongong.
Thanks

found a CP on the closest street where there was a walk through, normally I would have geodog with me but have to do some shopping afterwards so a quick detour for this one before shopping, got my priorities right yes?
saw some strange woolen fort enroute to GZ and then GPS started acting weird so took two attempts to find the right tree, but I'm pretty sure I used another less glamorous technique but worked none-the-less.
thanks batgirl or should you be called "Jane"

Oh no not a bush micro by night , we had a bit of a bush bash to GZ in the dark even though we knew there was a better way. When we reached GZ our first thought was not good but then we spotted something, but it still wasn't the cache ..wait what was that in the torch light ? Yep it was the cache and we were relieved to log this one. Nice views from here from the rite vantage point . TFTC
found with robatfarrer who fell out of a tree last time!! TFTC
PS. forgot a pen so couldn't sign the log

I got us to GZ, and one of my boys did the rest. Pretty quick find in the end (although I initially thought 'oh no, not a micro out here'). The clue was helpful. TFTC Batgirl
Find 2 for the day .. not that used some skills I haven't used for a while .. waht fun!
Think the position has moved slightly .. certianly not in a crevice today

Nice spot except for the mosquitoes, love the hide, luckily one of our team is light and we soon had the cache in hand. Thank you for the fun cache.
Shinydragon spotted this one from below while I was up and about searching. Not too bad a grab once it was pointed out!
the_proton was a good lil lemur and practically jumped up. While contemplating how high it might be I managed to spot it.
Not too hard but really small to find Only problem was coming back down Am blaming the red wine beforehand for making the earth rush up to meet me!
Found pretty easily but Cousin Rob fell out if the tree. Next time less red wine at dinner. Great sunset.
What a tough spot. Took three of us ages to find it but totallly worth it in the end. Great hide, BatGirl!
Batgirl&Co needed to change the log, so off we went with the new, improved, geocaching configured dashboard on the trip computer screen of the trusty Garmin GPSMAP62s.
Oh, GPSr, how I love thee, let me count the ways.
Oh, spear grass seeds. How I'd love to see you frying in the crusty pits of hell!

Log replaced however I didn't have wire for reattachment so cache contain is placed slightly differently albeit quite nice and safe.
Reperio at 1640. Stopped by here while in the area today, and couldn't believe how high the grass was in walking to GZ. Once there, the coords brought me to likely looking spot, and after a short search, the nifty little cache was in hand.
Gratias.

I think I was a bit overly keen on this one because I went up a fair way thinking it would be obvious when I got to it (great views from up there). Oops, so climbed back down and had a look at the logs and gave it one more go. Found it in an easy but not obvious spot a fair bit below where I had gotten to - which makes it no where near as dangerous as where I got to.
Back on the ground and we found that the log was so full there was no room to put our name anywhere, so we photographed it as proof that we had it in our hand but could not sign it.
Thanks for the adrenalin rush and a great view from the cache.

Thanks for the update. I'll get a log replacement in the next few days. Cheers.
Found by Polliwogs and retrieved by Emongs great hide and excellent veiws up here are an added bonus.TFTC SL
We did not have a pen on us, but we did photograph the cache in our hands. However don't think I should post it because it is a huge, and I mean a huge spoiler. Happy to share photo with the owner if they want proof. Cheers Utta and Uncle Toad.
The cache location is starting to suffer a rather lot of damage putting it's health in danger. While a splendid hide, perhaps this should be moved so the hide can recover. Utta
For an easy one I made this harder than I should. Bike shoes made this extra challenging.

Bridged a number of gaps and investigated quite a few potential spots trying to find this one before TCHNurse spotted something. This cache was a lot of fun!
#608 - looked for this just on dusk a couple of weeks ago with no joy. Did enjoy climing the tree though . It been wuite a while since Pa and I climbed any trees.
Dropped by again today and found it in two seconds flat . Amazing the difference the correct light can make. TFTC

On Holiday from Guam, but after using the assistance still no find. I guess it could have been a little higher up. Also, did not realize it was a micro until coming back to review the log. Should have known better before starting off, but at least found four of the five we went after today. Enjoyed the hike!
Second of the run and a nice find on what turned out to be a very nice walk on a pleasant afternoon collecting caches in the area.
I took up the challenge which crystal warrior looked on. My white t-shirt stayed clean amazingly!

Second time today W6R has to made this type of cache retrieval and kept his white tee shirt crispy clean. TFTC
Well we think we did.... Kids and I weren't the best dressed to retrieve this one but we had a valient go at it we were just hanging around anyway....
Geokid #1 quickly pointed out the tell tale signs and bravely volunteered to retrieve the cache, but was told no, let's try not to get too dirty, based on the notes for the cache. So I proceeded to bridge the void and eventually located the cache whilst enjoying the surrounding views. Then it was off for the next cache to tire out some little legs (a 2.2km circuit for three caches, hehe) and off to lunch. TNLN, TFTC
Found on our road trip to the Wagga Mega event.
