We got the mountain bikes out and rode from buttons crossing. There was a trickle of water After arriving we grabbed the one down close to the pool before making our way up to this one. Once we arrived at gz it was a quick find. Thanks for placing

Traveling with richlink to Darwin and beyond enjoying the stunning scenery and picking up a cache or two along the way.

Hubby made the climb to GZ, and what a climb it was. Just as well the rocks were dry as they were slippery enough as it was. He said the joy of finding the cache and looking at the view for a while numbed the pain before he made the descent. The round trip took him just over 2 hours, but a fantastic effort for a man of his age. A favorite point for this one, Thanks Bushies2.

Find 2 of 15 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - on a day trip to Wyndham and back.

Scaled the cliffs up to GZ via the continuing 4WD track. Almost all the pools were empty today so we were able to walk along the river beds once up on top. Quick find at GZ.

TFTC Bushies2!

What an epic journey!! Favourite point added

Lots of pools, some with cane toads. An excellent walk in the late afternoon. We scared off a few roos. Cache is in good nic.

Awesome spot! Track was a bit sandy on the way in but all good.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.

The water features at these two areas were amazing and the caches that brought me here so much fun, even if there was a lot of rock circling involved.

Thanks.

Off on the adventure of a life time, what a cool area, so much to see and do, everyone in our family has been thrilled with variety around K town, Geo Mum not so thrilled she has to catch up on lots of logs! Sorry about the generic copy and paste log, thanks for supplying us with a cache that has been apart of the fun.

Pa agreed to drive me around some outlying caches of Kununurra today as we continue to wander around northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter.
This was cache #3 and it was a beauty. Pa found this one too and started to rib me about the fact that he had found them all so far. No worries, log was stamped and we continued on our way back towards Kununurra. Thanks for all these caches Bushies2. Will award a FP.

Hi there Bushies2 - while stopped in Kununnura during our 2016 Northern Adventure TWO decided to let me have a day out by myself to pick up some caches that were too remote for her to accompany me. This was our find number 4128 - SL. Thanks to Bushies2 for the cache.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!

This was a nice quick find after having made our way up to Ground Zero via the many pools, albeit some of them currently dried up (it must look stunning when the pools are full and overflowing). Thanks so much to Bushies22 for yet another great cache, and for having bought us to another spectacular location that we would never have known about or found without geocaching - and another scenic spot with not another human being in sight or sound - bliss! Please have another favourite point - your caches have greatly enhanced our stay in the region.

This was a lovely little stroll while geowife sat this one out due to lack of suitable footwear. All the way up new pools were discovered right to the final destination and beyond. Took the mandatory photos and proceeded to search, bit the same as the last cache,so many hides. Finally in hand and started my dissent . Found a single thong on the way down and had a quick look for bodies down the cliff face, seems all good.Back to anxious geowife who was all good once I showed her the pics.Fave point from us .Tftc

Together with schrek77 I traveled two months through New Zealand and Australia . First we traveled with a camper for 6 weeks the North and South Island of New Zealand . Then we went to Melbourne where we visited the city and the surrounding area . then we went to closing in the north of Australia . During this time we visited several geocaches and were brought to very nice places through this partially . We also had the opportunity to visit some very old caches , which extremely pleased us . We wish to thank Owner for nurture and cherish the caches .

A beautiful walk, culminating in a swim after I had found and logged the cache. I tossed in a few trinkets as loot.

Today we combined our love for 4WDing and caching to take us to some wonderful places like this. We found the path on the left hand side of the falls and followed this up to the top. We walked up some of the falls as it was easier to do this than keep to the track. We passed GZ and then walked back to the cache as this was easier than heading straight to it. An enjoyable trek and adding to our favourites.

Thanks Bushies2 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

The 350m took us 1,5h but it was worth it. We had a nice view, a quick find (cache is in good condition) and will remember this one!!!
Thanks to the Bushies2 for some nice caches we were able to find during our trip and to this 50th!!!
TFTC and the other 49.... - so we leave a blue flag for this great work!

Up north getting away from the cold and having a major adventure for team Stickyfeet.
Loving or the caches placed along the way to break up the miles, getting the kids out of the car, and prevent me from going insane

Made the trek up-to the top pool. Couldn't resist a swim while there

Great view back down over the valley

Well the only way here is up !! Smile

There is always a cache in my day that gets me out of the geomobile and gives me my 30 minutes of daily exercise [^]
Funny that the adverts on telly only mention 30 minutes of gentle walking a day, and not the sort of climb up a waterfall that this cache demanded Razz
Well I know who will die fitter [:o)]
And probably at an older age too !!
ME !! Big Grin

So off I rambled !!
The sort of a trail was easy to follow up to the first set of rockholes.
From there you are on your own Big Grin
Bouncing from rock to rock, scrambling up small rock faces and dodging the seemingly bottomless holes full of water is all good fun Big Grin
And when you stop for a second and look around .... there is the view !!

And watch out for the hundreds of little black frogs that inhabit the pools.
They are more like lemmings and when disturbed, literally hop out into thin air to land where ever gravity takes them [:o]
My research suggests that they are Copland's Rock Frogs Big Grin

Top spot Bushies2 !! [^]
And thanks for the cache to bring me here !!
There are no tourista signs Razz

Somewhere at the top, I found the cache safe and sound.

Climbed to the top and soaked in the magnificant view. Awesome. Followed the pools, finally got close to the cache only 9M away and saw snake slide into the long grass guarding the cache! Decided we will just have to come back for this one! Thx Bushies.

Drove direct from black rock 4wd essential but saves going back to main road

Loved doing this cache, the trail was just visible so didn't have to push through spinifex, ah memories of our Pilbara caches. Well worth the walk to find, so many people out there today visiting the Springs and missing out on seeing the clear deep waterholes at the top. Wish there weren't so many about and we might just have stripped off and jumped into one after the climb up.

Ian reached GZ first and was just zero-ing in when the batteries went flat in the GPS, it was our lucky day as he called out to tell me he noticed he was just about standing on the cache! Wow, for a moment there I thought that one of us was going to have to do the climb twice.

A great spot to visit, shame more geocachers don't give it a go.

A fun day out cachng with Liz and Bruce while we celebrated Bruce's birthday. Saw where some poor Pajero driver had knocked a hole in his sump and proceeded tp lose all his oil. The 4 stars for terrain are a good warning for the inexperienced

Out on a birthday caching venture with Liz&Bruce and Tangowithcupcake. The three boys decided to tackle this climb while us girls gave them directions from below. It wasn't long before we heard the welcome whoop signifying a find.

The boys enjoyed the challenge of climbing for this one. We picked these caches for today because just by reading about them we knew they would be in beautiful spots. Today being Bruce's 60th birthday we wanted the day to be special and we were not disappointed with the stunning scenery. We had a great day out in the company of Richlink and Tangowithcupcake and we thank them and Bushies2 for making the day special.
