A quick find after a nice walk along the dam wall and taking some photos of the beautiful scenery, shame people ignore the signs everywhere saying no dogs allowed though TFTC!!
After visiting Lake Elizabeth, we back tracked to here for a smart walk across the dam wall for a quick find. Muggles with dog arrived and I ignored them, but talked to the dog. TFTC sparrowfall.
Locked up the bikes and made the stroll across the wall on a sunny day with Toto. Cheers.
Staying around Colac today and targeting certain caches. Didn't get all that I wanted as a local in Forest wanted to talk to me for about half an hour and some caches farmers were working close by
Perfect spot to spend Easter Saturday. Perfect weather. Friendly people. Beautiful vista. And best swag ever!! Tftc and thanks for a great day out.
Making our way back to Apollo bay we stopped in for a quick visit. Many thanks sparrowfall for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. And thanks for sharing the highlights of your region.
Looked at it from a distance. After passing a tiger snake on the way. Too nervous to navigate the lengthy grass.
Today we explored a few of the waterfalls in the region, which are amazing and beautiful, but it means we've been in the car so long. A bit tired from all the stairs today I was keen to get out for a bit of an easy after dinner walk. We had the place to ourselves to take in the peace and quiet. A nice easy find and finally a place to deposit a bunch of quality swaps.
Found by Aussie Train Driver 03/07/2023, find number 1697.
Visited the reservoir with the family today on our way home from Apollo Bay. Despite all the rain recently the water was well below the spillway however there was a decent amount of water being discharged from the pipes at the bottom of the dam.
At GZ we found the cache completely exposed (and mostly devoid of swag) so we restocked the cache and ensured it was well hidden before departure.
We enjoyed watching the shenanigans from a group of kids playing on the spillway slope before finishing our circuitous walk back to the carpark.
TFTC!

The familiar geo trail led me to it. Cache in good order. Picked a good day, no wind and cool. Tfc
Very first find found with tazz&Co on our way home from a weekend away, thanks for the Cache.
No swaps!

Found with Tania H 3 on the way home from a weekend away great place for a stop tftc
After a couple of failed attempts (without a GPS!) We brought the GPS and found it immediately. Our contribution to the world record attempt.
First fond in quite a while. Interesting area, never knew this reservoir was here Tnsl
Day out with the geokids to Lake Elizabeth, great spot with Gas BBQ... Had to do a quick check for Geo's and Bingo...
What a cool adventure! Pouring rain and spillway pumping! Of course took the hard steep and support way in and the easier way out. Standard Geo behaviour haha. TFTC
Beautiful spot. Nice to see the dam full and overflowing. Never been here before so thanks for the cache.
We had camped at Lake Elizabeth last night and had planned on completing the two caches there, but were thwarted by high river levels. So we headed off and saw this one nearby. We parked at the car park and walked around 1 km I and found the cache pretty quickly. We then realised we could have parked much closer as there is a great spot for picnics with covered areas and toilets. We then trekked back to the geomobile and the geodogs were tuckered out by the time we arrived back at the geomobile. The cache was in excellent condition. We left a path tag for the next cacher. Thank you for this cache sparrowfall
We’ve had bad luck all weekend but we found this one!!! Left a 10% discount and loyalty card to our local bakery in Allansford. Check it out!
came here for an info walk with a mycologist (study of mushrooms) and found out there was a cache! found this after we had wrapped up left some butterfly stickers as always, beautiful veiws!
Sorry for the late log and a generic log. A combination of some heath issues making me not able to look at the computer for any length of time and a mishap with my phone that has caused me to lose my list of saved caches.
Found on a trip out with AusFox; and Neville_devil.
Thank you for the hide

TFTC Sparrowfall. Found this on a wonderful trip from Ballarat to Apollo Bay for the day to have fish and chips on the beach ., in awesome company of a hot biker... Beautiful country side., loved the ferns growing on the trees in the forest. We stopped to stretch our legs here off the bike, and found this cache. I reckon it must have looked like I was having a wee when signing the log to muggles at the top throwing rubbish in the bin, but Algae kept guard. After a nice little walk around the reservoir. Glad it had a pen in it because we forgot to take one.
Tftc. Wasnt going to stop here but a lovely spot on a wet morning. A good family find.
Second find in Forrest today and a lovely walk. Our biggest cache so far but good location.
Chook and her friend Wendy decided to get away for a couple of days, and picked the Forrest area to explore this time.
After spending most of the morning walking the nearby section of the Tiger trail, then checking out the historic Yeaghur cemetery, we headed back into town for a scrumptious lunch at Platypi. In the afternoon, we headed out to check out the reservoir, and then explore the Fern Gully Walk.
Cache found easily, nice and dry, tucked away in its hidey hole. TFTC sparrowfall.
