We got the mountain bikes out and rode from buttons crossing. After arriving we grabbed this one before heading up to the other one. This was a nice quick find

Find 1 of 15 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - on a day trip to Wyndham and back.
Left the hire car about 600m out from GZ as the track looked like it was going to get boggy. Walked the rest in rather hot conditions. Made the find here of a super-heated tube and eventually got the bison out. The log sheet had been incinerated into crispy pieces so we replaced it with rite-in-the-rain paper which might not fare much better.
TFTC Bushies2!

Log paper had been cooked so Morgo to the rescue with a new bison & log inside the original cache. What a spot TFTC
Turned over a few rocks and made the find. The aluminium tube has been burnt. I gave it a shake and saw a green bison in there. After squeezing the aluminium, I eventually got it out. The log had been super heated and now brittle to touch. I replaced it and then added a new silver bison above it with a fresh new log.
The track in was a bit sandy, but the Mazdarati made it in.

Well we made it to GZ in our hire car but unfortunately could not find the cache.
Thanks for the cache, nice swimming spot but unfortunately not much water come through in the wet so was a little green, cache has been burnt but container in good Nic and log is heat damaged and breaks apart when unrolling.
Continuing on with my trip around the top end and decided to take the dirt and the backway in to Kununurra.
A nice little area but everything is so dry and a lot of places have dried up.
Found the cache and replaced the log and also a green bison is now in the original container to keep everything dry.
Thanks Bushies2 TFTC.

We found what looks to have been the cache a tube what is left of a plastic bag and a couple of other bits.
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.
The water features at these two areas were amazing and the caches that brought me here so much fun, even if there was a lot of rock circling involved.
Thanks.

We were staying with friends in Kununarra and decided to take advantage of the fact that the camper was set up on their front lawn and head up to Wyndham for a days caching while they were at work.
Being quite a warm day and quite old bodies we decided against doing the climb and just settled for this one which turned out to be a nice easy one. As we were adding our name to the book a land cruiser came through and bounced it's way up to Black Rock. We finished the paperwork and returned everything as it should be and then went down to have a look at the water and grab a few pictures before heading off to Black rock ourselves.
Thanks Bushies2 for placing a cache for the less fit amongst us.

Pa agreed to drive me around some outlying caches of Kununurra today as we continue to wander around northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter.
This was cache #2 and it was certainly well camouflaged as I walked around and around it. Pa came along and picked it up almost immediately. I just hadn't been strong enough to remove the final piece of camo! Log was stamped and all returned to its original plac. TFTC

Decided to tackle the Parry Creek Rd today. Thanks for placing this one. A quick find after a little paddle in the water.
Hi there Bushies2 - while stopped in Kununnura during our 2016 Northern Adventure TWO decided to let me have a day out by myself to pick up some caches that were too remote for her to accompany me. This was our find number 4127 - SL. Thanks to Bushies2 for the cache.
Only took couple min to hone in on this little one. Tftc. Water to green to swim in today

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero. Thanks so much for the cache.

Together with schrek77 I traveled two months through New Zealand and Australia . First we traveled with a camper for 6 weeks the North and South Island of New Zealand . Then we went to Melbourne where we visited the city and the surrounding area . then we went to closing in the north of Australia . During this time we visited several geocaches and were brought to very nice places through this partially . We also had the opportunity to visit some very old caches , which extremely pleased us . We wish to thank Owner for nurture and cherish the caches .
I think the family frolicking in the water nearby were a little surprised to see me head straight for the rocks. TFTC
We searched a while and at the end my wife found it. TFTC The Shredder and Skyryser
Searched forever and almost gave up with Skyryser. But I finally found it. TFTC The-Shredder
Another successful find on our trek today. Meet up with a camper at the pool and had a chat. Then headed off to find the hide. Took a bit of looking and a scramble uphill. We started on the wrong side and worked our way around to find it on the other side. Great hide and cool spot. TFTC.
Today we combined our love for 4 X 4ing and caching to take us to interesting and out of the way places.
Thanks Bushies2 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

The camouflage work, but the cache was easy to locate - so no worries about the fire....
The cache is still in good condition. Nice place to go to, even when the water does not invite you for a swim.

Found easily and survived the burn off. All in good condition.falls are still lovely although not much water left. Views are prerty cool from the top.
There has been a fire through the area so I am not sure if that would affect where it is hidden but we were unsuccessful

Bet this is a great spot when there's a bit more water in it. Thnx for bringing us here
From the nearby cache at Black Rock Falls I managed to find the sneaky shortcut to drive to the next cache
All was smooth sailing until the last couple of hundred metres when the trail became too rocky and I decided that walking the last couple of hundred metres would be quicker
And it was !!
What a lovely spot.
Of course it would be lovelier in the summer, but I was happy for now
A quick and easy cache find was mine, all mine !! Mwwwaaahhhahah !!!
Now for the other cache.
I'll bet it won't be as easy to get too !! [:o]

Well, didn't need too much camouflage here really... But a top spot to visit with the reflective pool. Found with JonDell.
This was our 4th cache find in a caching run of 10 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 10:24 so this now makes our total find count 6943.

We took our new Jeep geo-mobile on a few 4WD tracks today. (No scratches, no dents!)
We didn't have any difficulty locating this cache.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Bushies2 for the hunt today.

Today we chose to have a 4x4 day out & headed out to the Parry Creek Road area. The roads reminded me of when we went up to Cape York along the Telegraph line, rough, corrugated & sometimes sandy.
In areas the grass was higher than the car. I called this an adventure.
One of the easier finds on our way to the water hole. We didn't climb up to Middle Springs.
Thanks Bushies2

Another hike up to a cache I probably made harder than need be. Exhausted at the top I walked right past the cache but my trust caching partner found it immediately. Logged and back to the car. Thankfully our little terrios has had her Austswim lessons as she got through much deeper water than we thought she could!!! Another great cache in another beautiful spot. We left the others until we get some energy from somewhere!!! TFTC
Mini Fifthdegree's found this one, while dog had swim in water crossing! Swapped treasures here. TFTC.
Find number 5 for the day.
After a short search the cache was in hand, can't believe it has been so long since last found. All is in good order.
thanks

Found a shortcut from Black Rock Falls (involved a bit of 4WDriving). Beautiful big water-pool here - nice place for a quick stop to escape the heat.
Nice spot for a swim. It was very hot today so we didn't climb the hill for the other cache.
A fun day out cachng with Liz and Bruce while we celebrated Bruce's birthday.
This didn't take us long to find as we were on a roll from a day's successful caching while celebrating Bruce's 60th birthday.
We picked these caches for today because just by reading about them we knew they would be in beautiful spots. Today being Bruce's 60th birthday we wanted the day to be special and we were not disappointed with the stunning scenery. We had a great day out in the company of Richlink and Tangowithcupcake and we thank them and Bushies2 for making the day special.
Arrived late in the day after driving from Halls Creek so we decided to camp the night. Not before we'd found the cache tho. TFTC
Thanks again Bushies - note that this was was found 2 other times on the same day! We did not do the climb to the top cache, so it was good to find this.
