Sadly we have to archive this one because a new fence has been put up and there is no other way to access the cache.

We believe a fence was put up so we will go back and check if there is another way to access the cache soon.

Where indeed was I being led by the waypoints [:o]
I dutifully followed the trails that were sometimes rocky, sometimes sandy and sometimes just a creek bed until I found the twins.
The view through the windscreen made me go "Wow !!" Big Grin
I've seen a few boabs in me time, but this one takes the cake Smile
With photos taken I wandered over to find the cache safely tucked away.

TFTC and a fun, scenic detour [^]

PS: I have noted over the last few days that there is a dozer operating alongside Parrys Creek Road.
It does appear that it is clearing a path for a new fence line that will enclose the area to the south of the conservation reserve stretching down to the Victoria Highway.
I saw no evidence of any markers to suggest a gate being placed where the trail crosses the dozer scrape.
So I wonder how much longer this area may be accessed ? [:o]

This was our 9th cache find in a caching run of 10 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 12:55 so this now makes our total find count 6948.

We took our new Jeep geo-mobile on a few 4WD tracks today. (No scratches, no dents!)
This cache is definitely worth the drive. we found, and replaced, the cache in a different spot to the spoiler photo. It is safe and secure, just a little lower.

Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.

Wauwww. What a big boab. Biggest one we have seen so far. The ride to the cache was already exiting. Luckily we brought a toyota landcruiser. Thanks for showing us this place and regards from the Netherlands. Btw we are on route from Perth to Darwin.

The cache was on the ground and we put it back in the tree but we did nit kniw where it should be.

Found it on the floor in front of the tree. Since we don't know the original location we hide it under a rock in the tree.

Started out here but sun went down too quickly. Back out here again on a Sunday afternoon. Awesome twins! What a great spot. Love to come back in the wet. Still a bit of water here and there. TFTC Bushies2.

2nd GC for the Kununurra 4WD Club this time on our way back from the Monster Boab. Again another great boab and the kids found this one. See pic.

Good drive to this one. Be fun after some rain. We kept going past the monster boab all the way to the end of the track to a little waterfall and pool. Not really big enough to swim in but quite pretty.
Took nothing and left nothing

Found at 3.55pm GAFF2. Now that is impressive! Must be about 5,000 years old. We loved the drive through the high grasses. The sunlight was brightening up the whole country.
Had a moment while searching as we couldn't see any hidey holes and then saw one that had been totally filled up with leaves and mud.
Thanks Bushies2.

These were absolute beauties. We picked these caches for today because just by reading about them we knew they would be in beautiful spots. Today being Bruce's 60th birthday we wanted the day to be special and we were not disappointed with the stunning scenery. We had a great day out in the company of Richlink and Tangowithcupcake and we thank them and Bushies2 for making the day special.

We only realised last night that there was several new caches yet to be found and we were aware that another team were travelling through a day ahead of us. Would any FTF still be there? Up bright and early, we left Geogirl snoozing with a message to say text us when she was awake and off into the wilds of Kununurra. We carefully followed all the instructions and made all the right turns, certainly pleased we have a four wheel drive. Kept thinking this tree must be it but no......... Then we saw the mother of all trees.........No. Finally at the right tree and we searched high and low. We had looked at the wrong cache notes which couldn't be true because the water level in the wet was obvious. Eventually Mr Morris located it and glory be, a blank page. Great tree and certainly worth the drive. TFTC
