This cache needs archiving, the cache container is long gone.
The red rock mentioned in the hint is there in plain sight and easy to find, however the cache is not, it's been destroyed or taken when the property owner has been dealing with the gorse bushes in the GZ.
There has been burn offs and removal of gorse bushes from the GZ area.
It has not been found in 12 months and no maintenance has been carried out in recent times
This cache either needs to be replaced or archived

Like previous loggers, no joy. Needs checking.

18-Apr-15
Why don't I follow my own advice of reading the logs first? Oh dear ... Well I had a very nice walk as I went the long way. My gps was running out of battery and kept turning off and I found lots and lots of red rocks. But no cache. As it seems it's not there ! Hope it gets replaced soon as it was a good walk in a place I didn't know existed.

10-Apr-15
Couldn't find this one

22-Mar-15
Same as other cachers. Didn't read the logs until I arrived at gz. It's been bulldozed

20-Feb-15
It wasn't until we had walked to GZ that we looked at previous logs only to find that this one is no longer. Maybe it should be archived or repklaced.

13-Jan-15
I should have read the previous logs! Still, it was a nice walk and we have a reason to come back.

Not really a smart move to ditch the gumboots fir this one as I slip slided about in my sneakers. Quite a few muggles (sheep) about but they didn't seem too bothered as u drove them further into the reserve. A relatively easy find aided by the hint. Cache is nice and dry. SL TFTC

10:15:18 Took a walk through the reserve and was made a little easier have two for the price of one in the area. It looked like the sheep were racing towards the same location as us. Wasn't long before the cache was logged and the view enjoyed by all the boys.

Today Ian wore a polo shirt with a logo that says, "Grey Nomads - Exploring Oz." It must have been an omen or something because we bumped into our Geocaching friends "Grey Nomads" all day. How weird. Big Grin

Placing a cache in all that prickly gorse is a bit nasty. Big GrinWinkBig Grin
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: The cache was wet so we spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks michaels mob for the hunt today.

27-Mar-13
Our trip around Tassie saw us in and around the beautiful area of Evandale, Longford and Perth. On a nice day we started early after staying at the free camp area in Evandale.

A nice easy find in a nice area. A quick scratch around had the cache in hand. Bumped into our friends Ian and Penny throughout the day.

25-Aug-12
It was about time I got out of the car to find this cache, I drive passed here quite regularly.

18-Jul-12
Wow! This reserve is more like a swamp at the moment! I was glad I changed into my walking boots before coming in here! It's very very wet. Had a little trouble with it, even after decrypting the clue. There are many possible hiding spots. Eventually found it and negotiated the flock of sheep and all the mud to get back to my car, for the short drive to the airport and home. Thanks for Tassie cachers for an interesting few days.

What a great spot, shared with the local sheep. Love the views and a bit of plane spotting does not go astray. TFTC michaelsmob.

10-Mar-12
Continued on from close by cache to this one. Managed to avoid most of the needle sharp surrounds while extracting the cache, location would certainly be a deterrent to muggles! Thanks for the hunt michaels mob.

10-Mar-12
A beautiful day for caching and we were able to meet up with our friend from Western Australia, Urch. We headed off to find a few caches and this was one we targeted. Thanks michaels mob

Didn't expect to find a reserve in this area. Lots of sheep were watching us as we walked in to the cache. Found quickly at GZ. Lovely day up north today compared to the rain we left behind and great day for a walk. TFTC.

02-Nov-11
Saw a few rabbits and its looks like some have been multing by the cache

Quick find in a reserve I didn't know existed. Recommend future cachers wear gardening gloves or similar as the Gorse bush is over growing GZ. Took poker chip, left shark.

14-Oct-11
Found around 1530 hrs with GeoJulie. Stopped in to grab this cache as we had some time to kill before catching a flight back to Melbourne. Interesting reserve, was a nice a stroll and a brief hunt. TFTC.

Hi Michaels Mob
Our few days in Launceston had come to an end and we were travelling south back to the Peninsula, so decided to detour and get this cache on the way.
Passed by the airport and took the shorter walk as time was a premium. A bonus was watching the ascent of two flying cigars from the airport. (See photo).
Enjoyed the walk in a reserve that hither to I did not know existed. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Great views from here; which makes the cache more impressive.
A short walk and the cache was in hand without being prickled; the log signed at 1332hrs.
Went into Evandale for lunch and then continued on our way.
TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.

Cache Hunt 358; GAFF3; Weather, Sunny/cloudy; Helpers, anddad; Cache condition, Good; Find of the day, 8th; STATUS - Found; GPS at GZ - 2M

This one eluded me when I arrived a week ago, and with minutes to spare before I had to check in, I rechecked the description and took the shorter way at a closer car parking spot. At first I thought it was private land, and then the sign showed itself. Ran up the 200+ M to gz and went straight for the hint as didn't have time to spare. Found cache exactly where it was meant to be. SL and returned. TNLN. This really does look like a nice place to come back to. Raced back to the car and headed for the airport. Thanx for showing me this area michaels mob, and thanx to anddad for your help as well TFTC.
