Had a really good look here, and wish I had better read the logs before hand. I approached using both iphone and garmin getting a similar GZ, and nothing really match the hint.
Pity I had to leave it.

Their right about the mozzies and the trucks and the rest breakers, this spot is flat out busy, didn't have any luck this time that will teach me to set up my GPS and not rely upon a smart phone.
Took a bit to find this one as the mozzies were distracting me but after a but of a rummage there it was SL, TNLN, TFTC
Mrs Browngang's first coment as I jumped out of the car was, "surely we've stopped here for this one before?" No, not yet honey. Bumped into a couple of other cachers who were heading north for work.
Thanks for the cache and Cheers from Browngang.

Catching up on logging after a long christmas break. This was the start of my push south to home. The traffic was manic as it was another hot day so I had to limit my stops. TFTC WaldenClan. [1514]
having had a coffee break at Little Italy we checked to see if there was a cache in the area, yep and so we headed off. It was on the way to our destination for the day. found after a short search , so many pine needles . swapped TB's and replaced. TFTC WaldenClan
Geokid needed a bathroom stop, how handy to have a cache here too. We are a little disappointed in the number of caches we visit that have tbs in their inventory but not in cache. Have left tb for next traveller, beware the muggles!!
# 2509. Robmc and I were making our way back to Maclean from Evans Head so drove into the rest stop for this one. It had been very busy on our northward journey but all was quiet on our return. Yep, those pine needles provide excellent camouflage but we soon had the treasure in hand. TFTC
Staying near Maclean, Bettyboo3747 and I travelled up to Evan's Head to grab one for the challenge. Did a few others on the way.
We passed the entrance on our way North, but decided to grab it Southward. Fortunately, all the muggle traffic had gone by the time we arrived, and it was a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

It took a while for my GPS to settle, which lead me right up next to a parked and empty muggle grey-nomad van.
I was just going to GZ, when a voice inside the van asked if I was looking for treasure! OK, so it wasn't empty!!!! A quick explanation of geocaching, of which she was aware, and then a quick look and cache was in hand.
Showed the van owner what I had, and we talked a bit more about it. Replaced the cache and on my way.
Maybe another newbie cacher???

A nice sized cache container for a change. Despite nearby muggle in car we were able to retrieve back to our car, sign log and return to container to it's hiding place totally unobserved. Took a TB to move it along. Dropped a keyring.
We've stopped here before to find this cache. Maybe a year or more ago. Then the grass was very long and forbidding, nevertheless we ventured in and hunted for ages and came up with nothing. Today we pulled up and had the cache in hand within a minute. That's the way it goes sometimes!! We spoke with a mother of a family of 7 children who were stopped at this rest stop for the night. They have been travelling all around in Australia for the last 4 1/2 years and plan to continue for at least another 2 years. Their 7th child was born while they've been travelling in the bus. They have also acquired 4 dogs that travel with them. They are from NZ. Oh, .....back to the cache. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache Waldenclan. We are so glad we found it today.
Find #1296 - 1 for today. Found on 16/09/12 11:20 AM. Easy find after a quick relief stop. TFTC TNSLLN

After stopping at Woodburn for sausage roll, coffee, a big pie and an apple pie with cream made a stop here as amends for the DNF at Broadwater.
Left a new pencil as there was not one there. Good cache, and isn't given away by the hint.
Nice easy find had to turn the car around as to not be spied buy the muggles TFTC

Having just got back on the road from Wolf pack we were soon pulling over again. Thankfully there weren't too many people resting so we quickly had the cache in hand.

We've stopped here plenty of times but never with the GPSr. We found the cache without any problems but we did so in front of a stealth-muggle. We both didn't hear him coming. He drove by just as we were recovering the cache and gave us a big smile and wave. I hope this indiscretion doesn't lead to any problems.

Had to have a fake cuppa until muggles left, (can't have a cuppa every stop) GPS was everywhere but finally settled and cache was in hand, left TB Scotland and took blue whistle. Good to see cache wasn't near the toilets, hate those caches. TFTC
Muggles the only prob. Left clown nose, key ring, and other goodies, took Ningas, pirate coin and Geocoin.
No Lammy.

Found it on our way to Sydney - our first NSW cache!! We stopped and enjoyed a Pot Pelly's Pie from Woodburn - nom nom nom
Grabbed two TB's and left GC. The cache was in view when we pulled up - we added more Camo over the top

Found it on our drive from Sydney to Brisbane. We live in Evanston, Wyoming USA and really enjoyed our stay in Austrailia!
well on my way up to Brisbane I had to attempt a couple of caches and this was possible to do. After waiting for a semi to leave I had a search but with no luck so I had to use the hint to find it.
Arrived at GZ with Ms Wig, got the nearby munzee first, then found the cache with ease.
Dropped in some TBs to get them moving again.
Thanks WaldenClan

Stopped here today, but after a hippy looking muggle started to show interest we left. Logging a DNF
On our way to Iluka for some R & R.
there was a caravan parked right opposite the stash , but there was nobody in sight - maybe they were inside taking a rest , so I quickly made a dash and immediately spotted the likely spot.
the log book was quickly signed and I was on my way, with still nobody in sight from the caravan

After driving for 4 hours, I decided it was time for a break. I pulled into the rest stop and poured myself a cup of tea. I got a new GPS for my birthday last week and thought I'd try it out on this cache. It worked soooo much better than my iPhone! There were a few semi trailers parked up the road, but out of sight from GZ so I found the cache easily and signed the log. No TB here though. TFTC.
Had a look but gps sent me into the scrub and with all the rubbish about didnt worry about digging around. Thanks a spot off the main road for a break.
Thanks For The Cache

We tried this on our way North without any success - not wanting to draw any attention from muggles using the facilities. We returned today heading South in the late afternoon and had a quick muggle-free find.
There was a fellow with his chair set up having a cuppa just about on top of the cache so had to wait patiently until he left, took a long time to have that cuppa. There was no trackable in the cache. TFTC
Easy find... Had to wait for a few muggles to drive off before I could have a look.
4849. [font=Century Gothic][green]thought that we could have an issue here as there were two 4WDs parked just up from the cache. Their positioning was better than we hoped and they were screened off from us and a quick chicken scratch had the cache in hand.

Availed myself of the facilities here so thanks for two reasons to stop. Thanks WaldenClan.
Headed south toward Grafton this afternoon [|)]
Feeling sleepy after 20 minutes non-stop driving since the last cache find [|)]
When what should pop up on the GPS screen ?
Just what I needed, a cache
On arrival the coast was clear...
10 minutes looking later and the coast was still clear....
15 minutes.... Oh !! I'll bet its hidden under that pile of vegetation I didn't look under when I first arrived
.... and as if to add insult to injury, in rolls a carload of muggles and stops right next to me [:(!]
OK !! It might look a bit odd, but I'm just gonna sit right down here on this bit of grass and SMS someone with my GPS.
.... and while the muggles are not looking.... [green]GRAB[/green]
Sign logbook... and while the muggles are not looking.... [blue]HIDE[/blue]

After finding a couple of caches placed by the WaldenClan yesterday I found this guy on my way to Port Macquarie today. Fairly quiet here today as the cleaner arrived and disappeared to check the loos so log was signed and we were on our way. Thanks again.
Talk about frustrating! I walked right up to the cache location but was unable to get it because 2 fellas were having a cuppa from the back of their work vehicle. So I went for a walk and then used the facilities and sat in the car doing some stuff. FINALLY they got in the car and drove off.I was able to go back to the location and retrieve the cache and sign the log. Added a smiley magnet to a fairly depleted stash. Might call in on the way back north and add some more if I get time.

How embarrassing - others have found it the same day we were looking. So, I guess our excuse that there's been some plant poisoning going on here and some shrubs and trees cut down won't wash. Oh well, we can only claim cache blindness at this one. We searched several (plus more) GZ's given to us by the gps and nothing came up with a cache. We gave up and moved along.
Found on our trip from Brisbane to Coff's harbour, its great to get out and stretch the legs tftc
Nice quick find - and it may be informative to mention that this stop had the best toilet paper I have ever seen in a highway rest stop.
This took me a bit of looking - and I ended up going too far into the bush. When I located, I thought it had been muggled. But no, some animal had been at it - there were holes all over the container - and some of the play money inside had been eaten.
Rather than do a "Needs Maintennance" log, I decided to help out the cache owners by shouting it a new container. (about the same capacity, sistema-style). Put everything into the new cache box and hid it into the same place. TFTC WaldenClan

Drive from Brisbane to Forster, caching along the way. Saw cache as we approached, but covered it well. TFTC
After missing this one on our Christmas road trip, I was really hoping to find it today. Sadly the rain was pouring down and so I decided to drive right on by. Maybe next time, third time's a charm, right?!
I followed the visible trail that headed in amongst the trees, as that agreed with where the iPhone pointed. Then one of the GeoKids reminded me that an earlier log said that this wasn't necessary. So back out to the edge and it was easily found. Signed the dry log. Thanks for a convenient rest stop.
