End of the line for this one. It appears someone is deliberately removing the cache each time it is replaced.
Found the cache itself, however there was no body was attached. Must be with another family
2nd time on this one... Not sure how far up I was suppose to look but this photo is from about 10 m ??
Strike two Coords had me out near the road so focused search along the branches out there before searching the roots and trunck again. Like last time all I found was a screw in a branch but no cache. Where is it?!?
I tried..... This "plus size", 60 something, geograndkid deprived cacher actually climbed the tree, to the first level, skinned her elbow, tried to get to the next level then had the sense to give up! Maybe I'll try again one day??????
Checked again - all good. Please see the terrain rating - no to minimal climbing required.
Spent several minutes scouring the base of the tree then had a quick climb but found nothing. Consulted the logs and read about a 'hook'. Expanded my search and eventually found said hook but alas nothing was on it. Looked around on the ground but couldn't spot any cache-like objects. Will return another day.
Very much enjoyed my climb. I found this very quickly and am stoked that I have found my first cache.(not counting the one I found with my friend carl)( see all quiet on the western front cache)
This is the second time we're searching for this one - first time was in the dark. Love the big tree, but don't enjoy the messy berries (perhaps it's a bad time of year for those). Also managed to bruise the side of my foot while falling out the tree!

It was mistralunas birthday today so she decided the best way to celebrate was to go out for a day of caching. It turned out to be a good day, i ended up with 29 finds and only 3 DNFS so i was quite happy with that. A quick find in a great tree TFTC sno seeker
Birthdays come but once a year and what better way to spend it than out caching with a like-minded companion. UGHHH. Such a big tree and such a tiny cache. But we managed to find this one very quickly anyway. Thanks sno seeker
Second time lucky on this one. Once again I am amazed at how I could have missed this one first time around. TFTC.
I was prepared for a difficult search but managed to luckily find it rather quickly! TFTC
Visiting friends in the area and enjoyed our visit to this amazing tree also. However no find for us. Hope it hasn't gone missing again.
Checked tonight. It was still there, but had blown off the hook and was lying in the leaf litter about 10cm away.
Searched here for a while. I cut my finger when trying to extract from a nook in the tree what I thought may have been the cache, but turned out to be a piece of a broken bottle. Then I twice banged my head on a low branch, so gave up before doing myself a major injury. TFTH sno seeker. I will be back.

Managed to bang my head, but a quick search had cache in hand. Moved some of the broken glass. Log is still wet. TFTC
Awesome tree! Watch your fingers as there are a few potential spots and we found a red-back in one of them. Film canister is in good shape, but the log book is still wet. TN, left an "I dig volleyball" pin, marble, and 2 coins...
Nice cache found in obvious spot after a good lunch in a fishy place nearby.tftc
Found log book out with no protective case , so placed it in a old film canister for protection!!!

The geokids were very impressed with themselves - they found it in record time. TFTC
(sorry, late log as we accidentally logged this find on the Happy Tree instead--very glad to have now done both and fixed up the logs.)

I recall with fond memories as a child playing amongst the roots of these giant fig trees. An easy find and then a play in the park with the kids. The smell of nearby hot chips had us wanting a quick afternoon snack, but without enough cash we called it a day and headed home.
Nice quick find today and just as well it was placed out of view of the Taxi Driver watching me as he took a break...Thanks for the cache
Great climbing tree, not sure about the shade, it was late in the day when we arrived.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
What a gorgeous tree!
I did have to do a full circumnavigation before I spotted the hide.
Would be a good tree to be under in summer and winter as it provides so much shelter.

Beautiful Tree also brought back my childhood. My 16 year old had to climb it. Was nice & dry, Cheers for the cache & the memories.
Easy find only because it was the first place we looked in the obvious spot

Cache replaced overnight with a new water-tight container and log. Hopefully an end to soggy log issues.
The log book was very wet....will not last long with more rain on the way and fungi eating away. More waterproofing needed. Best wishes VIDAHOY
Good hide ---lovely tree. The log book was very wet but I managed to make my mark.
Looked high and low and stuck hands around blind corners but no joy. Good fish and chips at the adjacent shops though and a nice park nearby to enjoy them in. Will be back one day to try again.
what a lovely tree

Visiting WA for the first time, albeit for coaching U14 baseballs in the national championships, caching is definitely in order so that I can be the first of our regular trio to cross WA off the state list. With the players farmed out to parents for the afternoon following a morning game, coaching staff all went their own ways to get some RnR. For me, that meant golf and caching. After using the nearby driving range (wow, what a wonderful golfing complex), this cache was second on my hit-list.
Found the cache no worries at all, but the two cache guardians thatnhad 16 legs between them were only small, but a little menacing. Tnln, signed the log, as expected. I had this kind of tree in the school yard when was at primary school.... The memories of it all... Makes me want to eat play dough all over again.... [:o)] tftc.

Reperio at 1045. Had to search for this one a little longer than planned, but got there in the end. This was a good spot to be on a hot day.

A quick easy find on a damn hot day when the shade of this tree was appreciated.
