Unfortunately the land upon which this cache sits no longer belongs to the Australian public. I have no choice but to archive this cache.

Did not get this one today - plenty of work going on with new refugee centre and GPS kept pointing towards this area?? Maybe it is gone!!

SB any clues - has not been found since November 10!!

Thanks GC

Opportunity knocked when this one was within my work site today. Trickly little hide this one, but found after eliminating possibilities, and did have tweesers in Geo kit. TFTC NTBBBB.

Very clever. I though I was going nuts for a while. Smile

Excellent hide, not a big fan of Nano's but this one is an exception TFTC.

Enjoyed looking for this one... knew it had to be there but was a little illusive! Clever hide Smile TFTC

If you're at Darwin Airport after four days of sweaty toil in the bush and you are relaxing in the Qantas Club an hour and a half before your flight, what do you do? Look up the nearest geocaches? Yeah! Leaving the airport you notice some light rain as you walk down the hill. It starts to get a bit heavier as you pass the hotel. You stop and wait for a minute but it seems to be easing off. You continue on to within 200m of the cache when it starts to bucket down. Isn't this supposed to be the 'dry' season? You take refuge under cover at the rear of the hotel. The rain gets heavier, then eases a bit and you think about venturing out, then it buckets down again! Water starts to run down the road, forming large puddles. You check your watch, an hour and a quarter til the flight. If it rains for more than 15 minutes you'll go back. Finally it eases right off and you continue on your way. Now you are walking alongside the road where the large puddles are and the trucks and cars take delight in trying to splash you as you walk along. You retire to the dirt footpath only to find it has become a mud footpath. You head for the grassy bits where hundreds of ravenous ants patrol. Finally you reach GZ...

... and then finding the cache was easy by comparison!
Actually it had me wondering for a bit but persistence paid off. I didn't have tweezers on me - you can't have them on the plane can you? But an IKEA pencil can do wonders! Signed the log and replaced. Thanks!
Was this enough? Would I be pushing my luck to go on to the Darwin Geocoin Bank? Yes but I did!

Nice work, cleverly done cache. Thanks NTBBBB

Outstanding hide. We have been waiting for someone to do this. One of my favourites so far. Darwin hiders are SNEAKY!

13-Jul-10
Reminds me of a repeative song.... one of these things......
Anyway, I can see why so many miss this cache - our mapping has a parking symbol right on top of the cache symbol.
Knew what to look for here, but it was so well attached that we discounted it first time checking.
Thanks.

04-Jul-10
went back several times before we found it. very tricky.

04-Jul-10
Has taken some time to find it but we went right to it today. Very Clever. TFTC, Enjoyed the challenge.

30-Jun-10
my eldest son found it within minutes, i told him to look for the "nuts'. TFTC

27-Jun-10
went and checked on the cache as there were a few DNF's. I am happy to report all is well and the cache is intact with a brand new log. So come on people go out there and find it! On a more serious note I find it difficult to believe that all neighbouring caches are being found but apparently no one looks for this one. I suspect that people are not logging DNF's. DNF's are a valuable tool for cache owners as it gives them some idea as to whether or not the cache may have been muggled. Please log ALL visits to this cache. Thank You Smile

yeah - cool took a little thought TFTC

Searched a while but then gave up.
Too small for my big fingers to find Smile

I went nuts looking for this but didn't have any luck. I will try again later. Thanks for the challenge!

29-Jan-10
Tried three times, even with hint couldn't find it. Some people say it is easy to find, feeling dumb may need a little help.

18-Jan-10
A clever hide, NTBBB. Thanks. Spent half an hour looking for it yesterday, and watching the sky blacken with a rapidly approaching storm from the east. Read the logs again last night - then a thirty second look was enough to unearth the hide.

Found it! Yay

Found on a different date but have forgotten what it was.

27-Nov-09
My last and my favourite cache for the day. Had me scratching my head for a few minutes before I found it completely by chance. Great idea very well set up in a neat little location. TFTC NTBBBB. [216]

19-Nov-09
Looking, looking....nope. Needed hint. Ahhh, there it is. Nice hide. TFTC

15-Nov-09
After looking at previous logs went back and FOUND IT!!! YAY

15-Nov-09
Found this morning after a long long look at everything... We were also assisted (unsuccesfully) by the Australian Federal Police that happened to be there checking out a suspect vehicle. Came back and found it on our second attempt... Great cache, thanks!! Didn't have a pair of needle-nosed tweezers, so will be back next weekend to sign the log.

This one proved too much for me and my buddy. Thought we had it in the bag but no such luck. after an hour of looking finally had too give up.

08-Nov-09
As I was stopped just down the road in a motel (in transit to Kununurra) I could not help myself when I saw one so close. I had to open the toolbox to find my pointy nose pliers as it said that a tool was required. Twisted after the 200 meter walk to GZ I walked around the most likely looking spot a coulpe of time before spotting the object that looked out of place. Nice hide, pliers were just fine enough to grab the log. Cool
TFTC

Now were is the swimming pool.

#1 arrived in town for a family social and took the opportunity to find a few caches, walked around gz once or twice before the cache came away easily in hand. Great hide and a good start to our visit. TNLNSL

16-Oct-09
Extremely clever cache, did not take tweezers so was unable to log visit. Not sure I could even write small enough anyway.
I will at least attempt micros, I had given up on them but it's great finding all the clever ideas that cachers have for their hides. TFTC

16-Sep-09
If its what I thought it was then I had a problem.

13-Sep-09
Dipped Man City TB in here (in a virtual sort of manner, TB was present at least) as its near the footie stadium.
He didn't like the heat so we are bringing him home again.

13-Sep-09
I searched for quite some time and then I thought it was time to fire up the trusty laptop.
So obvious once you get the hint.

03-Sep-09
ahh there was something loose. Thanks for the cache.

03-Sep-09
Good hide but you didn't fool me either. TFTC

29-Aug-09
A nice easy find, I didn't even use the GPS as I had been to this location many times while picking up and dropping of GC's and TB's at a nearby cache.

23-Aug-09
Another very quick and easy find for Mrs Shifter, Mr Shifter looked but didn't notice it. TFTC

22-Aug-09
Found this one on my second visit. Had to pat down the sign and noticed something loose. A tidy hide and after some effort, managed to pull log. Again... no pen

21-Aug-09
Nice bushland area, and pleasant walk between this and the Geocoin bank. Thanks for the clever cache.
TNLNSL

15-Aug-09
Clever cache container but in the end fairly easy find. TFTC

13-Aug-09
I gave this one a pretty thorough look but couldn't come up with the goods. Maybe next time.

13-Aug-09
Staying nearby so tried this cache. Very nice hide ! TFTC.

10-Aug-09
Several possibilities at gz and none were coming good for me. I resorted to the hint and had the cache about 12 seconds later. Very nicely done thanks NTBBB.

10-Aug-09
I had a quick midnight look by the light of the GPS screen but that was futile.

01-Aug-09
WanderingAus wandered by on day 59 of a "climatic refugee" trip, and made a very easy GAFF 1 find. Retrieving the log was much easier for this one, seemed to be a slightly looser fit. I left a little of the log protruding to make it easier to grab for the next cacher.

My find No 1615, TNLNSL.

*Recommended* *Overall Experience: 2*

Well done NTBBBB, nano caches are not my prefered cache but nanos with ingenuity are special and this one is very well done.

31-Jul-09
Now wasn't that fun. Saw these new caches come up on email so headed out to try for a rare FTF and what do you know I got them both with NTSTROM hot on my heels. Well done NTBBB for a couple of great little caches just down the road from my place. Thanks again for the cache and the hunt. It will be interesting to see how others go with these two caches. Took nothing except a FTF

31-Jul-09
Wasnt at the computer when these were published, but I did notice them soon after. Hopped on the Strom and sped down to this cache first. It took a while to find this tricky container and I can tell you without the hint I would never have found it. Then, even with tweezers, had a lot of trouble retrieving the log. Eventually it came out and then I got a real shock to see that Gibbo had already signed the logSad. Well done Gibbo thats quick!!!!
Thanks NTBBBB for the challenging cache
