CO needs to replace this cache or archive it. It hasn't been found for a year (not counting the find that states "Paul" as there is a string of DNF's before and after).
We really enjoyed the location here and the fact it was just of the road was a bonus. Unfortunately after a long time searching we had to leave without the find, despite turning up many rocks and logs and expanding our search substantially.
Another DNF to add to the increasing list. We had a good look around here but couldn't find it. I suspect it's gone.
It was still good to stop and admire the view from this nice high spot.
It was still good to stop and admire the view from this nice high spot.
No problem with the GPS up this high. Couldn't find a cache anywhere near the coordinates though Read the log and saw the last DNF. Checked the hint and there was indeed a pile of rocks next to a log but no cache underneath or nearby that we could find.
I'm pretty sure I was in exactly the right spot.
It may have been muggelled.

We were on the way home from a great long weekend camping and I wanted to grab another couple of caches. Both geokids accompanied me on the short walk up the hill. Great views. We took the motorbike TB. SL and then back to the car and hoemwards. TFTC
Went for a day trip to Carey's Cave in Wee Jasper, found 7 geocaches along the way!
This was number 6 for today, didnt take too long to find.
Dropped off a TB to continue its journey

On my way back out to Wee Jasper to pick up the abseiling Venturers I dropped off yesterday. Great view and a geocoin as well. TFTC.
Found with the Geokids on our way to Wee Jay. A spot of caching to break up the 'are we there yet's! TFTC Took trackable, left trackable.
Found at 1:09:00 PM.
After having to cancel a planned visit due to a virus outbreak (them not us) geowife suggested a trip out to Wee Jasper to look at a cave. So we packed the car and away we went.
Nice view from here. Flies are quite bad at the moment though. Dropped Fore's Flower geocoin
Thanks liddle tiny baby one

Its been a while since I've been down here, so it was good to return today. Nice and sunny here which made for nice views from the hill. I wanted to come here when the dam was full, but didn't make it.
Parked the other side of the hairpin and walked across the top (nice trees). Found cache OK, but the container is in a bad way. Cracked lid, and cracked handles (they still close though). Cache appears to be dry inside, but probably should be looked at some time soon. Unfortunately didn't have a container of that size with me today.
Thanks.

Was on our way home after a relaxing night camping with a mate. We had just been to the local pub for a icecream and a yummy hot chocolate. We got to this gz and my mate soon spotted this cache. Was cold standing up there but the view was just lovely TFTC
FOUND THIS ONE ON A ROUND GEO TRIP, GREAT VIEWS, BEEN PAST THIS ONE HUNDREDS OF TIMES GOING TO WEE-JASPER. CACHE IS NOW CRACKED BAD AND WILL START TO LEAK, SO A NEW ONE IS NEEDED. THANKS
Found with a geofriend on our trip to tour Carey's Caves at Wee Jasper (fantastic place!) Parked the car nearby and then followed the geotrail up to GZ to make the easy find Fantastic views! We felt like we owned the world up there! We also saw a pair of wedge tailed eagles soaring around in the distance-awesome! Thanks for the cache and the views Ltbo!
To the north west you can see how the Goodradigbee River is structurally controlled by the west dipping Gurrumbidgee Group (shallow marine limestones), which are also the rocks responsible for the caves so many of us come to visit here!

Last cache for the day before heading back to the Gong. Cool spot. Found with Roklicker, naw92, danfrom and Rhihusable.
Another of those geocahes that make the hobbie wortwhile. Easy find and fantastic views.
Found on our way back to Sydney after having camped one night at a nearby campsite - where a fox "patrolled" around our camper trailer.
Beautiful view from this point . Did it on our way to the caves, but it was 40 degrees today, so we headed back to our ACed car really fast!
TFTC. Make sure you take a tour of nearby Carey's Cave. It is worth it for the caves themselves, but also the colourful guide, Geoff.
Geoson called it "the sheep-poo-cache". We had really much fun seeking for this one - and enjoyed the beautiful views. Thanks for this great cache.
An easy find which the GPS led me straight to. Nice view too:). TNLN. HOTA
5601. One of the requirements of the GeosportZ 2012 game is to claim a find on a cache hidden on the 27/07 in any year. Well this one fits the bill and was the genesis for a trip to Wagga to pick up a few more requirements. This one had the advantage of having some great views although a tad chilly to hang around too long.

Found at about 11.20 this morning on the way to a scout camp nearby. Made the quick tramp up the path from the geo mobile parked by the side of the road and found the cache and signed. I didn't need a pen to sign here!
There were fantastic views from here. Thanks for bringing me to this location to stop and enjoy.

Found on the way home after a drive out to Wee Jasper. Great views from here. Didn't hang about as the wind was cold...Thanks.
Nice little find. Signed log book but did not swap anything. TFTC. Spent the day out fossil hunting
Wow! Fantastic views from here. Our first cache of the day on a Wee Jasper run with Agent Basil and Batgirl & Co.
First chance to be station(a)ry having been travelling for a bit to get here. Well worth the stop and the views. Would certainly be a bit of a hike up from the other side of the hill! (We took the easy way).
First stop for the day! The X5's battery finally bit the dust after over 7 years faithful service so the Batmobile was drafted into service! Lovely views which I'm sure would have looked different in the grip of the drought. Nice start to a great day's adventure !
What a view. I can see why it was a special place for ' Liddle tiny baby one'. A beautiful day just added to the splendour.
Found this one on our way to Wee Jasper for some camping. Another very pretty spot and views of the surrounding area. Found with mnjontour and good zac the geohound. TFTC
Thanks for giving us a reason to climb to the top of this hill Liddle tiny baby one.
What a great place to put a cache with absolutely fantastic view of the dam. Unfortunately the log bog was very wet and it was necessary for us to dry a page out for us to log our find.
Left a couple of Nintendo DS Lite Stylus in the cache and took nothing but time to look at the views.
Many thanks again for sharing this place with us.

Found on a caching and camping weekend in Wee Jasper with Fraggle_Rock, Wasptor and Leechie. Excellent views from up here.
We thought we'd be safe without bringing a pen to this cache, but sadly not... lol It sees the three or so pens that were in the cache wouldn't work. But the kids did do some melon bowling down the hill. A bit of fun and a great view! TFTC
Found this one with Kirbstars, Wasptor and Family on our weekend Camping Trip (3 of 7 for trip)
Nice Views up here.. and Glad to finally see water around..
Kids had fun rolling Melon's down the hill....

A little detour on the way home after a pleasant time at Wee Jasper. Special thanks to my friends in ACT Scout Rock Team who ran an excellent course. Susan I hope you enjoyed finding your first cache. Great view from up here and a moment to reflect on the beauty of the place with water.

Found on the way back from a Rock activity course at Wee Jasper. Nice views back over Burrinjuck.
Combined cache find with my daughter BonnieScotland. Lovely spot with fantastic views, so took lots of pictures. My very last cache of the year in a temperature of 35 degrees, so we finished on a high in more ways than one. Took nothing, but left a pen which we collected from Springfield Guest House in Portree, Isle of Skye. Scotland.
Thanks for the cache and very best wishes to all for the New Year.

An easy find after the slow winding climb up from the bridge below. While I turned the car and camper around, the others ascended on high for a quick find.

I was on my way to do a spot of caving (shock!) and there was a cache close by. Spotted the cache as I was walking in. It was nice to stretch the legs after a long drive.
Reperio at 1000. Well the plan for today was to head out to Tumut via Wee Jasper for a few caches. After stopping by and finding this one, that plan all got changed in the blink of an eye. Got to 10 kms past Wee Jasper and my car overheated due to a split hose in the radiator. Spent the next 2 hours gradually getting the car back to Yass where I was able to give it a rest and top it back up again.
Gratias for the cache. A lovely spot and beautiful views.

Found this one on the 27/6/10 on the way to Yass. Great views from the top with the sun setting over the rolling hills. TN left pencil sharpener. TFTC
The sun was just in the right spot to glint off the the dam in the distance; the view was shared with the local sheep.
Thanks for the break.

We drive passed here once or twice a year every year to go caving at Wee Jasper. I love the winding round and find it an immensely fun road! However, as I am always concentrating on the road I had never noticed that you can see the back of Burrinjuck from here! Now I know... Thanks for brining us to this gorgeous view point.
Cheers

What a fantastic place. I'm building my house on GZ for sure.
Got here as the sun was going down and it was just magical for photos. TFTC!

In the brisk early light (Well, it was still quite dark, and absolutely freezing, actually. ) ), we approached this first cache of our day's run towards Wagga with a little less than the usual enthusiasm.
The walk wasn't too difficult, and some of us were defrosted by the time we found the cache - one of us kept complaining for several hours (being a teenager and dragged out of bed ruthlessly at an ungodly hour).
We thought it was a great cache, and a pleasant walk. Thank you.

Had little muggle babies with me who I got excited by the drawcard of 'treasure'. Dad is a muggle but fully versed in the ways of Geocaching. He is a reluctant participant in my Geocaching diversions but his kids were so inspired by my excitement the Dad couldn't help but be dragged into the action. I'm sorry but I let them take some little 'treasure' without replacing anything. They were stickers or something small. I hope you don't mind my quest to convert muggles into believers.
Great view. Easy find. Almost a drive by.
