Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.
As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.
If you wish to contact me regarding this cache, please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

After failing to find the nearby cache,
I wandered over to this place
And after a poke around at GZ,
I found no cache,
just the detritus of old mining activity,
and more recent wubbish dumping [:o]
The cache name certainly fits

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Mickwb,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Found lots of broken glass, broken DS and half a plastic box. I believe this one no longer exists
Ms FV attending conference in Bendigo and taken the opportunity to grab some smilie faces.

PS The sun has made the cache brittle and it is cracked and split. The contents will suffer in rain and ant more degradation may compromise the contents.

A nice quick and easy find on a chilly winters afternoon.
The container has suffered from UV exposure and is very brittle.
There is also a thumb sized hole in one side but the contents are surprisingly dry.
I have placed the container so the hole is well under cover.

With the cache name and the last log we were not looking forward to the wander into GZ. Rusting metal can be artistic and we saw no broken glass, perhaps there has been a clean up. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Find No. 1820. Found at 5.08pm.
On a caching expedition in our geoute with geodog Penny on board. Our aim is to find 25 + finds so that we can get 100 finds for the month.
Travelling the Calder Highway grabbing those along the way, we then headed across to Myers Flat to grab the six in that area and now it is time to head back home via Maiden Gully to grab the three there we still have to get, and this was one of them.
A short walk off into the bush for a quick and easy find.

The last day of our Bendigo trip. We had checked out of the camp-site and the family were already on their way back to Melbourne. I thought that I would stay behind and grab a few caches in the area as I had not had a chance on the previous days.
A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

In the area to find some caches to make up 400 finds. This cache was very exposed so did some maintenance to ensure it was hidden. TFTC
Found with nieces on a walk for the afternoon took a little to find as we never had a gps with us so we were very excited when the niece stumbled across it after a walk through the prickly shrubs all of us having shorts on exited with bloodied and itching legs but it was all worth the effort for our 3rd gel for the afternoon great walk
Didn't find the junk but it was a pleasant walk in the forest to the cache. Thanks brentoz.

After attending the Pre Mega Event I was hanging around Bendigo for a short time before heading home.
A nice short burst up to GZ and a quick find (after searching the wrong area for a few minutes)
There is a little junk in the area but not that much.

After coming here and looking by torch light and having a bit of trouble, decided to come back during the day. Instantly found the cache by day light
We found the log book surprisingly dry in the open, no sign of any container. I put it in a plastic fruit jar with a new toy and covered it over, hoping that it is where it was originally placed. I think we were lucky to have found it when we did because it started raining shortly afterwards and rained most of the day, but now I have a J for the Bendigo A-Z challenge
