I came up for the trig find and as I was getting ready to go, I saw the stump and thought that it must have a cache inside!
Found it. Well I wouldnt call it vial. In fact, we think the view was quite remarkable. Found with catnap777 shortly after sifting through all the wrong places first. TFTC & the great view TeamGeoPlesk. Vial in good condition. [^]
dalerious and I saw nothing vile about this spot, we don't know what you're talking about .Oh, that vial! Yep, we found one of those, sure enough. The Alpaca's were looking on bemused, and we just couldn't help looking at the view.Thank you for bringing us here TeamGeoPlesk .
My original plan for this afternoon was to try and find the caches hidden along the nearby Ah Kow Track, followed by this one. Instead, I ended up starting out with this one before making my way to the nearby Squarebottle Track, deciding to leave the caches along the Ah Kow Track for another day. As I began driving my 2WD Toyota Corolla up the slightly wet Tower Track towards this cache, I could see a very steep section in the near distance I would need to drive up if I were to reach the summit. The ground was slightly muddy and I was worried my car would not be able to make it. Fortunately, the wet and bumpy ground proved to be no obstacle, and my little car made it up the final section of track with ease. Now that I was at the summit, it was time to get on to finding this cache. I took a quick check of the hint in the cache description, then looked out the window of my car. I immediately spotted the hint object not too far away. I exited my car and began making my way over to where I thought the cache would be. I began searching around this item then spotted the cache fairly quickly. I took it back to my car to sign the log, and to get out of the howling cold wind. After signing, I returned the cache to its hiding spot then made my way a little bit closer to the nearby fence to check out the view. This is my first time up here and I was absolutely amazed by just how far I could see. I also found the view very interesting as I have never seen Melbourne and the surrounding area from this sort of perspective before. After admiring the view for a few minutes, I returned to my car to escape the cold and continue on my adventure. Thanks for placing this cache here and introducing me to the area.TFTC
Wow! What an amazing spot!! Another place I would never have visited if I wasnt Geocaching!! I got in the car and have immediately started playing the song Im on top of the world by Imagine Dragons!! Thanks for bringing me here!! TFTC!!
This one became dinner and a show as while we were enjoying the view after all the cache finding and signing part, a local turned up and announced he was up there to check on the depth of the potholes so he could complain to the council, again, to try and get them to gravel the track so more people could come up and enjoy the view. But it didnt stop thereoh no.then we got his life story of being a sailor working the tug boats in the bay, and a million other things he had done in his lifetime, all delivered with a good sense of humour, that we joined in on when he drew breath occasionally. So all in all, we enjoyed this one for everything it gave us.
Day 3 of a week long caching trip to Ballarat & Geelong regions, to complete the geotour before it ends and grab some caches that have been on my to-do list since at least pre-covid.My first time venturing into this part of the world, great views and an easy find. Thanks TeamGeoPleskFind recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK
Out for a motorbike trip and stopped off at the lookout. Thought there would have to be a cache here . No pen, so couldnt sign log. Unfortunately the weather wasnt great
Was up here looking at the view and decided to check to see if there was a cache up here. Bonus there is.
Thanks TeamGeoPlesk for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. What amazingly stunning views, out with Connieandrick and having a wonderful time. Thanks so much for highlighting this treasure. Happy trails, Deanside
Out with deanside, have a fantastic day of walks and laughs. Ate our lunch from near here as the view was wonderful.
*Found on the 28 May 2023 @ 3:32 pm.*
*Cache find # 14723.*
After a big day trekking around Lerderderg, it was now time to head for home but I had to made a stop here first as this one wasn't that far away and my legs could handle a drive by.
Once at GZ, a quick find was made.
**Thanks to TeamGeoPlesk for placing this cache.**

We didn't have this cache in our list but when there's a hill with a view we had to go up there and then happened to check for caches in the area. We found there was this cache, which was easily found and the log signed.
Wow, the views from here are stunning, what a fantastic spot, thanks for sharing. Im afraid i was carefully watched by the nearby watcher while retrieving the cache but i assumed he had probably seen it all before.
The Trip
I think the stars have finally aligned for a two night trip, caching and camping along the Great Dividing Range. It seems that every time i have planned a caching trip in the last six months something has come up to thwart my plans or cut my trip short. I have high hopes that this week it will be perfect.
I started at Moorabool Reservoir and will be collecting caches from there in the direction of Riddells Creek although i have a lot to find so am unlikely to make it that far. The weather is glorious and there is a cool lilt in the air which makes for a pleasant change from home, and the shady forests are vibrant.
Champagne caching!

It was a great drive up hear, even if it is wet and rainy. Loved what views I could see.
Found It........While out on a Fathers Day road trip we decided to stop by here and grab this cache. After driving up what we thought was some ones driveway we parked the Geo Truck at the summit and started our search and soon after we had the cache in hand. So with the log signed we continued our journey homeward. Thanks TeamGeoPlesk for the cache and bringing us to this view
A short detour up the hill to this cache. A quick easy find and a super view TFTC TeamGeoPlesk
It’s a gorgeous view up here. Came across a muggle who probably (hopefully) thought we were just talking to the cache guardians. It was great to add my signature on such an old log. TFTC

Grabbing caches while attending the Pykes creek events. Wonderful view from up here. Today it was so windy up here which made the temperature so cold. TFTC TeamGeoPlesk
This was a easy find. But wow the view thanks for bringing us here TeamGeoPlesk

Such a pretty view! Almost jealous of the guy up in the tower... Until I realised how he gets into his office... With the wind blowing a gale at the moment... I did not envy his climb...
What a great spot! Would have loved to stay and admire the views from up here a bit longer than i could but the wind today was far too strong and it was way too cold to be hanging around. Thx TeamGeoPlesk for placing and maintaining this one!
Had to giggle a little with this find as we knew there was a muggle around somewhere as there was a car at the tower. We pulled up to GZ and while getting out of the car, a voice from the tower called out it’s location and it’s cover before we had event fully approached it. Surprised, we turned around to locate a bloke hanging out of a window half way up the tower. He said that he had seen someone there yesterday and went down after they had left to check it out. At least he returned it to its original place and let it continue as was planned by the CO. TFTC
We were nearby chasing a first to find with Ausfox;, BFMC and Crack'n'LeeLee afterwards LeeLee said I know the perfect place to watch the end of the magical sunset that was happening. So up we went. Ausfox; and LeeLee had already claimed a smiley here so it was BFMC and I who got an extra bonus smiley to go with the wonderful sunset.
Thank you TeamGeoPlesk for the smiley
Thank you TeamGeoPlesk for the smiley
Came up here with a bit of a crew after a nearby FTF at LeeLee’s recommendation. A beautiful spot at last light, the final moments of a rather impressive sunset combined with the urban lights made for a spectacular vista. Thanks for highlighting this place, I thoroughly enjoyed taking a little extra time to chat with friends and take in the absolute silence beyond that.
Great views from up here.
There is a ute parked near the buildings and the gate is ajar.
Parked the GeoPrado to shield our activities from prying eyes.
Thank you for placing this cache here, all those years ago.

A fitting end to our day out in the area.
From an event and some urban caches in Ballan to the Yorick series etc. nearby.
Even a Trig Point to log on GCA.
This was a great place to finish the day.
A nice quick find. Cache in good order.
Thanks TeamGeoPlesk.

Well my day is done now and with a great view to finish my day it is time to hit the freeway and home.
Started by dropping of some bugs in Ballarat, finding a few caches on my way to Ballan, attended a birthday event, find a few more caches and even fought off a Razorback.
Thanks TeamGeoPlesk TFTC.

We decided to head out for New Year and explore, we found ourselves in this area, and couldn't resist seeing if we could add a smile or two, The views from here are amazing, we look forward to be able to return to see if we can add more smiles one day Thanks for the cache, and for the fun.
We do hunt GA caches but not today, we came to the area on a mission to find the end of a multi from Ballarat and are picking up a few other caches while we are here. Your cache is in good condition.

#257! What a walk and what a view. Tiring from the car park but worth the effort!
Lovely spot for a pic, got caught accessing the cache by a couple of friendly alpacas, good fun SL TFTC
Easy find after reading the clue. Great views from up here. Quite a few Muggles/Other Geocachers(?) around.
Special views as good as any mountain top 360. Quick find away from the structures and then continued the drive around the circuit track in a bumperty bumpy ride. Someone had come to 'work' in the Blackwood Vial as the gates were open next to a parked car. Perhaps he saw the goings on over yonder, but I could not see him anywhere through the windows to raise suspicions. Next time we shall see if the cache remains in tact. CIGC TNLN TFTC
After a massive hike on the Razorback we made this find as the sun was heading down over the hills giving us a magnificent view.
Thanks TeamGeoPlesk for the placement for us and others to enjoy.

Easy find in an amazing spot with excellent views in all directions. A great way to finish off a day of hiking in nearby Werribee Gorge.
Staying in Melton, today we tackled a few caches within the area and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in excellent condition. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Find # 4349 @ 1011 H
Found with sharkiefan.
Heading up to the "15 Years of Events in Victoria" event we decided to grab a few caches along the way.
Being a Trig Hunter it was great to be able to make it up to this one. Caches (and trigs) up on hills are always worth the extra effort to find as you are always greeted with a great and spectacular view over and beyond the area.

Oh if you insist; just one more! Our last cache for the day as we head home from the 15 year event and what a way to finish with a view such as this! (not sure the two llama/Alpaca were happy to see us though)

After some caching along the Razorback track I made my way south, finding any caches I had not yet visited in the Lerderderg SP. Despite caching around here on many occasions I somehow had never visited this trig point itself.
After finding the cache easily I enjoyed the views for a while.
Thanks, TeamGeoPlesk.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. There is a spectacular view to be had from here, particularly so today as the air was very clear when we were there. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Out and about with the kids doing the Mt Blackwood Road caches and we wanted one more so came up to the lookout here. Cache is surrounded by long grass so the kids stayed put as I went in super slowly to make the find. Great views up here and I'm sure you can see even further if it isn't hazy (like it was today). Many thanks for placing the cache
Nice easy find, stunning views up here. Thanks for bringing me here. Thanks TeamGeoPlesk. TFTC

Found it! Thanks for the cache, TeamGeoPlesk. SL LN TN. Could you please provide a new log? As you can see, cachers have been squeezing entries into the log sideways for over two years.
500th find!!!!! in 1 year
Set out today to reach our 500th find. Was a chilly 6 degrees as we headed off but that didn't stop us.
Easy find. Fantastic views. Will have to come back when its a bit clearer for an even better view.
