This was supposed to be my first find of the day, but after looking around for a couple of minutes, I consulted the previous logs which confirm it's more than likely missing.

Then we head for Phillip Island where we meet our first kangaroos, little penguins and breathtaking landscapes. Walking is the best way to explore the Wilsons Promontory Nature Reserve. Nicknamed 'The Prom' by locals
A small flight by plane and here we are in the financial capital of Australia Sydney for three days with his famous opera his Sydney Tower of 309 m and his famous bay visited by boat We will make a small detour by the Blue Mountain before joining Melbourne by the coast through Australia Rock and our first seals and the Kiama Blow Hole
for the sequel will be the famous "Great Ocean Road" with the twelve apostle, Apolo bay and the peroquets that eat us in hand at Kafe Koala
Head to the Grampians with its waterfalls, aboriginal hinges and steep cliffs where we can see our first emus
Another plane ride to land in Hobat with 25 ° on the market and 6 ° at the top of Wellinton Mountain and 90km of wind We leave Hobart for the National Park Freycinet and its beautiful beach Winglass Bay and its 1250 steps to arrive at Cradel Mountain we have to walk more than four hours to get a woombat, The highlight of our trip will be the 3 hour boat ride on Brunny Island with its cliffs, seals and albatrosses, and a little white valabi on the way back

Looks like this one has fallen foul of an unwanted visitor and has been taken. Great spot, spent the day jumping off the old diving boards into the river, kids loved it
Tried to get to this one whilst over in Tassie doing a whirlwind seven day tour around this amazing island state. Home again now, tired but happy, and committed to returning another time to explore some more. Didn't find that many caches during the time I was there, but this was one that I did manage to sneak off from my muggle companions and attempt to find. No joy, despite spending quite some time looking. I see another cacher logged it as found just two days later, but the log reads like they didn't find it at all. Given that and previous logs, I suspect that the cache might indeed be missing. Perhaps the CO could check on it?? Thanks anyway CatWomanAU
I found a likely place for the cache to be hidden, but I get the feeling that it has been removed from it’s hiding spot
Found some rocks, found a hole. Sure looked like a good spot but no cache for me.
After we enjoyded the ride in the chairlift, we're looking for the cache that had to be here somewhere.
We've checked the hint, and then it was very easy to find.

Our tenth day in Tasmania and today we're exploring the area near Launceston. Our first stop is at Cataract Gorge. Beautiful location. Quick find by the geomom. Hello from Calgary, Canada. TFTC.
Arrived at Cataract Gorge, saying “ I wonder if there is a geocache here. My daughter says there is probably one in those %#}{^*. So I checked the app and would you believe it. There was one in those %#}{^*. Daughter went and got the cache and I did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you CatWomanAUfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

We found a container and it needed a new log, so we added one for you. We parked our car in front of the spot so we had some 'cover'.
What a most unexpected little get away.....I needed some R&R and the lovely micaparamedic needed to cache in Tassie to meet a challenge cache's requirements, soooo a plan was quickly hatched and we were on our way.
Gary was good enough to do all of the driving (a real treat for me) so I just relaxed as we explored various beautiful locations that Tassie has to offer.....and we even picked up a cache or two. [^]
The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I was delighted to catch up with some very special people.
Thanks so much for the cache CatWomanAU!

Spent the morning wandering around Cataract Gorge and revisiting the fabulous Redwood tree that I remember from my last visit in December 1995 (I was just about to start my horticultural studies and was awestruck by the first Redwood that I'd seen). Picked up this cache on the way out - had parked almost next to it! Log book was missing and unfortunately didn't have any spares with me. Have taken photo for verification of required.

Found this one after a nice long walk via the Zig Zag track and around the Gorge and then back along Seaport. Don't know why I haven't found this cache before but wasn't expecting to be caching so I didn't bring a pen but did take a picture of the log, will get back and sign it soon. TFTC.
Had a few hours at the end of our Tassie trip so checked out the gorge. Saw some nice peacocks on the way. Parked right on GZ for a quick find. Thanks.
Third try at this one saw it was replaced so looked again yay there it is!!! Tftc
Cache Replaced - let's see how long this one lasts. If not long, I have a creative replacement in mind....
As previous two cachers, DNF and looks like it's been muggled. Obvious spot is open and the rocks presumably used as cover are scattered around.
Good spot nevertheless

Hunted high and low for this but no luck Hint seems very obvious and coordinates spot on. There were a couple of obvious hiding places so not sure if this one has been muggled?? Really enjoyed the gorge afterwards!
Danke für den Cache - TFTC!

What a terrific spot. Beautiful place to spend a few hours or the whole day swimming! TFTC!
Quick find after we enjoyed the chairlift & swing bridge stroll. Kids loved spotting peacock's in the grounds. This is our first find in tassie with Cristabel. Tftc & the handy hint in a high muggle area. No free car spaces today.
Found @ 2:27pm with squiggle30 after a lovely walk around the gorge with hccatcher11415
Quickly spotted by squiggle, the cache was retrieved and replaced with no-one any the wiser.
Thanks CatWomanAU

Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places. We have been travelling almost 5000 kilometers before we returned the car in Adelaide last week. Then we flew over to Tassie, hired a new car and will do a rouindtrip the next 2 weeks. Started in Hobart and went to Saddle Mountain and then to Stanley. After two nights in Stanley we are heading for Launceston.
Arrived yesterday. Today we are going by foot to Cataract Gorge and will log caches on our way. Hot and sunny day. Typical Tassie weather??
Had a brew from a local producer at the gorge before continuing our walk back to town. Found the cache in good coords. TB out.

Yes, could be a tricky story to retrieve this one. I seem to be lucky to have come here on a quiet day, so I could easily log and replace the container.
Thanks for the hide, CatWomanAU!

This was a quick find which almost made up for DNF that we spent 45 minutes searching for a little while ago. - Zeke & George of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA
Hmmm, my immediate reaction was to wonder what memories or such were created in that particular parking bay???
Many thanks CatWomanAU from the Wacky one

I am trying to figure what happened here in car park number 9. Anyway, off to another cache - aiming for Paradise by the Dashboard lights - on the way to Ben...

Found this one when I was up at the gorge looking for number 6 of the weary traveller series. Sadly there were some weary travelers exactly where I wanted to be. So- I was very happy to go looking for another in the area. Thanks!

Hi
I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of "Weary Traveller (6/7)" http://coord.info/GC6J547 and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachesaturation
I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Hi Tchingal
CatWomanAU here.
Apologies for the delay - I have replaced Memory Lane #4 - Gorge Yourself, if you could please reactivate it as per your note.
An action had been taken on this cache because of one of the following -
No response from the cache owner to the previous reviewer note ask for this cache to receive maintenance.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As there has been no response I'm archiving this cache to stop it from showing up in my reviewer searches and new placement checks.
Please remember to return to the GZ and collect the cache or Check it has been removed if you have not already done so.
We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash and if you have any TB's or coins in your cache I'm sure the owners would want them moved on.
If you decide to proceed with this cache in the next 28 days please contact me via email and I'll unarchive it for you.
This cache has now been taken off my watchlist and I will not see any notes you leave on the cache page from today
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

When I found it, the cache was an M&M tube at Base of tree in long grass, could be mistaken for rubbish!
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I noticed that this cache has been unavailable for an extended period of time without maintenance occuring as set out in the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever.
Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please **log a reviewer note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days detailing when it will be replaced, so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a **reviewer note** every month (28 Days) to keep everyone up to date.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice

In a tree? Under a rock? In this cossack bush? I stuck it out while people walked by every few minutes but no luck.
