Found the obvious spot but no cache to be found had a look around it but nope. Nice area tho & met a cute little puppy with fluffy eas along the way
Heading through the area with Nyssaflutterby and this icon was sticking out at me from the map and so I made her make a detour so I could grab the cache. Sad to see it has since been archived as this spot was quite nice, very quiet.
We parked close and having lost shoes at the last cache, plodded in barefoot. Along the prickly barkchip to GZ and I soon had the container in sight. All was in good condition. TFTC Treking Trev

Counting down to my milestone attempt a bit later today.
Short walk from road and there was the unmistakable pile of sticks I was looking for

Brother Colin, IolantheK, teamDFL, T-Tech and myself were out for a Glasshouse adventure day. A group caching lesson , do not disturb the hide set -up before others take the photo-shoot
Up from Brisbane caching around the Glass House mountains with IolantheK, teamdfl, ruzzelz, and Brother Colin [^]
Arrived at GZ and began the hunt.
Nice easy find [^]

Out and about on the Glasshouse Mountains for a crazy day with T-Tech, teamdfl, Brother Colin and ruzzelz This one was a quick grab on our way south to our last mountain climb today. The hiding spot wasn't hard to find. TFTC, Treking Trev.
Today there is a souvenir on offer for finding a cache.
Also P' has a MEG event happening. But a couple of us, Russelz, IolantheK, teamDFL, T-Tech and myself, have found the caches he is planning on going to today. So we decided to group up and tackle a couple of others.
We have found all the caches we 'must' get today...but there is still some daylight to be used up. So we headed a little further south for another walk. A quick find on the way to Mt Mikete.
Thanks for the cache.

Cache #7 MEG5 trail.
What a cute name for a cache! I think I only saw two ponds tho but maybe I needed to walk further to see the third pond. Nice little place with homes very close by. I gotta do something about getting myself to the front of this pack...again cache was found by the time I got to GZ.

What is MEG? Amongst a few 2013 GEOGoals I've set myself, one I have dubbed Mission Empty Glass (MEG for short). This involves tackling all caches I've not already found in an area I've defined loosely as 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Every multi, every mystery, every mountain and everything in between. This, the fifth group outing took in a couple mountain climbs and walks in preparation for the future MEGs, plus two multis, and a couple others in the area. In small convoy with the Master Fangsoki and his Purple Paj, Miss Censations, Swellerfungus and Lady Sim, Miss Maddy, Bulldozer, KarenHippo, Crew153 and Aussie Liahona we slithered up to the spot where by the time I arrived a few seconds later it was already found, opened and the first signing was occurring. I did think we had been ripped off though, only saw two ponds. A 33% discount? Oh well, thanks for placing this cache, Treking Trev. Mobbed in good condition.

As Crew153 says - we were all having a giggle with 4 cars pulling up and 10 people jumping out and heading off into the shrubbery. I can't imagine what they'd be thinking. What we were thinking is: where's GZ and where's the cache? Found it nice and quickly in a spot that must be wonderful for the wildlife. Thanks for bringing us here Treking Trev.
The MEG#5 group pulled up nearby and we all strolled into GZ...
I didn't see any water or wildlife, but spotted a low area that would make a nice pond
The cache was exposed and covered in Swellerfungus by the time I got there. An extremely rare type of mushroom that grows quite tall and can be found at the top of steepish hills on a clear day.
Sticker in the logbook and we covered it up a bit better. Perhaps there was more shrubbery around here, when the cache was hidden?
On we rolled...
Are we there yet? Are we there yet, huh?
TFTC Treking Trev!

Part of the MEG#5 group. This was the seventh cache found for the day. Nice and easy. TFTC.
Dropped by with a few friends on the MEG5 run today. We got in so quick we didn't even get our feet wet! A slightly visible hide that we tucked back tightly into bed once we had all signed the log. Thanks for the hide.
Another nice easy find out and about with a group of fellow cachers. Nice little park around the name sake 3 ponds. TFTC
I wonder what the neighbours thought when they saw 4 vehicles pull up and 10 people disappear into the bushes?
A lovely little spot which could be turned into a great picnic area with just a little more work.
The cache was easily found and then we all walked back and drove away and left the neighbours to keep wondering.

Interesting place, didn't see much water in the ponds but a lot of greenery. TFTC
Just dipping the trackable car while visiting with the MEG5 group.
Wow - nearly 3 years since I found this one. I even remembered it when I heard the name. Great to visit the area again, Treking Trev

Out for a quiet weekday of caching. This one was a nice quick find for us today. I think these "small trees" have grown a fair bit in the four years since the cache was placed. TNLNSL TFTC
Out and about caching with nyssaflutterby, egginthesky, madman04 and mini munchkins for Anzac day. We headed around the various ponds to get to GZ. When we got there we were shhhh'd by nyssaflutterby. There was a water dragon on the cache!! it was very cool. Thanks for the cache
Lots of scratches from the branches. Easy fin one the iPhone connected to the satellites again.

What a lovely day for a spot of caching with great company. Net88, egginthesky, madman04, mini munchkin and myself had all decided to head to the Sunshine Coast and find a few caches along the way.
I have had my eye on this one for a while, just never had a chance to stop. So after a slight detour off the main highway to avoid the traffic we found ourselves on the way to this cache. We all strolled over to GZ to find a Water Dragon perched on top of the cache, cool cache guardian! The dragon however was shy and took off when we came to close. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

Found with ayepeacee today. Cute little area. We saw a duck egg, or was it a snake egg? The cache was hidden well. Thanks for bringing me here. ^^
Early morning was not the time to try this cache
Everyone was leaving for work at 6:00am [:o]
So I left the cache for my drive back north at lunchtime.
Just after lunch and there was not a sign of movement anywhere.
I wandered around the pond and soon spied a suspicious pile of twigs
TFTC.

We have the caravan parked nearby so this was a good one to do. Thanks Treking Trev
Finally found time to have a cache maintenance morning. So I performed the Geocache rain dance in that I managed to get over half of the caches that have had needs mantenance reports, fixed. Cleanup and dried this cache out doubled bagged the all imporant log book. and placed the container in a larg ziplocked bag. I hope these measures keeps some of the water out. No doubt we will have a week of rain now. At least I have done my bit to keep drougth away.
Last cache for the day and it was relatively straight forward.
Parked and then a short walk to the GZ.
The small shrubs that Treking Trev comments about in his listing have all grown up, so no need to play hunch-back.
Thanks for this cache Treking Trev.

Looks like there has been some flooding or heavy rain here. Quick find for the cache but there was water inside it... the log itself was dry though. Drained the cache and replaced in it's spot. TFTC.
TFTC during our holiday tour from Sydney to Fraser Island (coming from the Netherlands)
A pretty little spot. A BBQ and picnic shelter would encourage more people to enjoy it. Or a cache, of course. A quick find as it was exposed. The pencil is wet but the log OK. TFTC.
Quick easy find by Geokid today . The coin that is in there is starting to rust though and might want to be removed. The cache is damp on the inside, but the logs are dry. TNLNSL, TFTC.
was a bit wet inside box paper was still in zip lock bags so ok. I dried the pencil, signed the log book and placed it all in one of the zip lock bags so should stay dry. TNLN
Found it No. 4105 ... very wet container tried to dry the best we could but log dry ... TNLN ... TFTC treking trev
After some reports of soaked log book I checked it and replaced the log book all OK now.
=) just as the bushies commented, the cache had a small bit of paper to sign which i took full advantage of , loved this little hideaway TFTC =)
Easy find by Ms Bushies2 because the cache was wrapped in a white plastic bag which could be seen some metres away...the logbook is still soaked through and someone added a small piece of paper and zip lock plastic bag. We removed the plastic bag as it could be seen easily in spite of covering the cache. Thanks Treking Trev.
The cache needs some maintenance as it is still waterlogged and the logbook to be replaced. Thanks.
this was the first Mrs Dyathinkhesaurus found on her own, the plastic bag the cache was in was sticking out so gave location away quite easily. The cache was very waterlogged, log book completely soaked. Left behind a dinosaur. Hid cache better on leaving.
Found today. Log very wet. Just able to write in it. Metal objects made everything rusty. I rebagged everything with glad snaplock bags and wiped out as much of the rust as I could. Removed the badge as rusty and put in white hair slide. Put plastic bag around cache. Hopefully this will keep it dry. TFTC Thanks Treking Trev
Cache is very wet. Sorry could not fix today. Managed to write in the log TNLN TFTC
found it but was wet put a needs maintenance forgot to log it as found TFTC
Found this one on a daytrip to the Glasshouse Mountains...

Quick find. nice and quiet today. Plenty of waterbirds around enjoying the wet weather. Thanks Treking Trev
I never knew this place was here! The cache is a bit wet and needs drying out. TNLN TFTC
Found with the kids first for the day.A lot of water was in the container, needs maintenance.SLTFTC.
633 - Found at 4:04pm as a shower of rain passed through the area. What a lovely place this is, if only it wasn't so wet at the moment. Found the cache and emptied it as it had quite a bit of water sitting in the bottom of it. The log book is still useable but is quite damp. It could do with a dry out TT, particularly as we have had more rain in the week since we visited and are now logging it. TFTC Treking Trev.
Nice little spot in here. No escaping the neighbourhood guard dogs though! A quick find at 10:47am.
Thanks for the cache, Treking Trev
Thanks for the cache, Treking Trev
Quick find on our way back from a FTF at Bellmere today. Cache contents are moist but log is still dry. TNLN TFTC TT
Nice easy find. I had the place to myself this morning.
Sorry to report that the cache was soaked. The plastic bag has done its job ie log book is dry....the same cant be said for the contents.
Emptied out the water and dried as best I could.
Thanks
We will have to come back again during the day time to appreciate the beauty of the area. Just as we were signing the log, the rain came pouring down so we high tailed it back to the car. TFTC Treking Trev
A nice area and totally muggle free - thankfully. After sorting out the best approach, I came up with the goods after a small hunt. TFTC Treking Trev
Great spot for a hide. Took the long way in through the tree, but came up trumps. TFTC. Left TB.
One of those lovely little places one would never see were it not for caching. TFTH
Noticed this one close by after returning from picking up a nearby Highway one Series cache.
Pulled up at the park, and headed towards the GPS coordinates.
Reached the GZ and located the cache quickly.

Found the cache quickly with Alkzura despite approaching from the long way around. TFTC
Damm iphone kept losing reception so took much longer than it should of. Good cache thou
Just managed to get this one over and done with before the light faded. Easy enough to find with the GPSr getting pretty good reception and taking me to the next tree over. TN/LN/SL and left the ponds to the ducks and moor hens. TFTC.
Thankyou. First time out. Took daughter and 3 grandchildren. With hints was easy to find, but good for our first effort. Kim50.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 10:58am. The cache was quite easily tracked down. Everything around it was very wet but the cache was dry. TFTC
1315hrs. An easy find as cache was exposed. Signed log and recovered. Had lunch and listened to the trail bikes on the other side of the lake. TFTC
Decided this one had been too long without a visitor so took it upon myself to remedy this situation. Plus there was a Geocoin sitting in there as an added incentive. Lovely quiet spot at the end of the day waiting for the rain to come. As usual, TT leaves good clues and cache is easily found. TFTC.
Meet a large snake on the way to this Cache (will upload photos later) a nice area would love to own the house nearby TFTC
The resident ducks weren't too impressed with the intrusion into their territory but soon settled down and ignored us. Crouching low we made our way through the trees and quickly spotted the cache.
Thanks for the hunt!

Great little park in an out of the way location.
Took Koala GC and left Bunya's GC.
