Found at 10.45 as we went in search of a morning tea spot on our way to Mt Gambier via Cobden. Didn't realise this was disabled but did find a lidless container with a log sheet to sign. A pretty park. TFTC
A quick find to make up my 30 says of caching.

Sorry for the late lost log. Found while passing through on the way to Warrnambool. Chance to stretch the legs. Thanks thefanman.
Could the next person planning to do this one please take a film canister or smaller for replacement we didnt have anything with us or we would have done it.
We were meeting up with a couple of other teams at Lake Purrumbete for the weekend to find an unfound cache in the lake. We headed up on the Friday night so we could get out early Saturday morning before the other teams arrived, we spent the day making our way around this lovely town seeing various aspects of the lake and gardens and finding some fantastic caches.
The container at this one is missing its lid and the log book damp it will need replacing.
Thanks thefanman for this one,
Regards The Coffee's

Only the main part of the container remained. Tried drying out the log but gave up and replaced with a dry signed sheet. Will need a lid and new logsheet. Sorry we didnt have one in the rental.
Cache appears to have been muggled. We found the remains but left them where they were.
Found it in about 5 Seconds! But... Really needs replacing. Was heavily waterlogged and therefore couldn't sign it
Arrived Colac for the first time.
Nice small town.
Nice hide
Thanks thefanman for bring me here and cache

My least favourite caches are those that require lurking and searching in or near children's playgrounds. Fortunately there was no-one around today.
(Lid was missing, but log in perfect condition).

Cache needs a new lid. Not on it when I retrieved it.

Geocaching with the McLookers on a hot day-pulled up & found in minutes-thank you!
Doing the Colac caches with spiny13 on a hot Saturday. We pulled up under a tree and McLookers Geokid had the cache in hand quickly. It was too hot for the kids to play on the playground but a lovely park. Thanks for the hide and for bringing us here.
Quick find, log is now replaced and for the moment dry. we took real good care wrapping it all back up before replacing in its spot.

Log is destroyed by water. Good hide tho.... Might pay to change the hint a little, that would be a good head scratcher without it! Tftc
Found at 11:50 AM GAFF1. We had a totally different idea of where the cache was going to be hidden due to the cache name. Actually we now don't know what the name relevance is after finding the cache.
Log sheet is saturated.
Thanks thefanman,

I was tired in the car after we came from Lorne.
When I saw the playground I ran from the car.
Then we found the treasure.

Lovely park and nice easy cache, although a bit too easy for geotrippaz, photo included, t f t c, a nice spot for coffee break. Had to wait till a nice lady picked up all the flying bits of junk around.
The plug was pulled and therefore our 100th cache found. : )

*LATE ENTRY*
Once again the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen gathered yet once more for another caching adventure, the team comprising of myself, Starruby & Covey. The purpose of the expedition was not so much to smash numbers, but to hit some highly favored caches, and primarily to complete the series of Portland night caches.
The weather was superb and the company even better as we cruised along the Great Ocean Road, stopping occasionally along the way to grab a few drive-bys, and targeted a few favourited hides. By 4am we saw ourselves finishing up with a bag load of caches, before finally setting up camp and climbing into the swags.
Rising bright and early next morning for a mouth watering breakfast of bacon, eggs and baked beans. We set out on the road home taking an inland route, with highlights in limestone caves, wading across rivers, and even an encounter with a feral pig! All back home in bed before midnight with 60+ caches bagged, and memories of great deeds upon which to embellish and boast.
Many thx to the CO for the cache.

A short while in the planning, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen gathered once more, comprising of myself, C@H and Shogun. Permission from better halves gained, we set off from the Mornington Peninsula at an early hour with Portland as our destination. The purpose of the expedition was not so much to smash numbers, but to visit some highly favoured caches, and primarily to complete the series of Portland nightcaches.
Blessed with great weather, we cruised the Great Ocean Road, stopping occasionally along the way to grab a few drivebys, and targetted a few favourited hides.
0400 hours saw us complete many nightcaches before climbing into swags. Rising next morning for a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs and baked beans, we set out on the road home taking an inland route, with highlights in limestone caves, wading across rivers, and even an encounter with a feral pig! All back home in bed before midnight with 60+ caches bagged, and memories of great deeds upon which to embellish and boast.
Another quick and easy find, only minutes after or previous find. After this one, with a couple of hours drive ahead of us, it was time to 'pull the plug' on this caching trip and get back home. TFTC

Quick find by Chaplain Mike whilst I was still in the car. Cache wet and smelly with a wad of wet paper in the bottom. This needs removing ASAP. Log paper was dry in the bag though.

Glad to see I wouldn't need to interact with the kids on the play equipment, a simple find of this one.
Geokids loved flying fox. I loved the fact that we could find a cache and stretch our legs. Thanks for the hide.
easy find, but cache was swimming in water, log unusable, replaced log strip in a plastic bag. tftc
Quick find on a fine afternoon, expected to see a few muggles about with our first bit of sunshine out today, but no problem. Log was a bit wet but still managed to sign, gotta love my sharpie pen. TFTC
no one in site in the late afternoon so it made for an easy search. The log is damp and falling apart. Still managed to sign the log though.

Found this one in the company of a muggle friend, who has been out with me once or twice before. No muggles about today in the playground, so cache was in hand quickly. Log signed and returned. Thanks to thefanman.
After a few hours in the car the geo-kids were wrapped to have a play on the play ground while we searched for this one. Very easily found, but was covered in spiderweb so it was hubby to the rescue. TFTC
Visited this site with grandson today. The log is full and getting damp and torn.
We were out on an excursion with geocachers Phetlern which was not solely just about geocaching but we did target a few caches and were happy to make a find on this one. Nice one thanks thefanman

Long before the advent of Geocaching, H-P actually lived in Colac. It was very interesting to look at the town from a very different perspective today. It was an added bonus to be able to share a few memories with Liz and Bruce.
First find for us today, an interesting looking neighbourhood playground.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt thefanman.
