Logs
As the zebras are gone, so has the reason for the cache... Removed container & log while cycling past today.
Sure is a busy road. Tftc

I had loaded only the coordinates. There must have been some tectonically movements in the last time. The cache was seven meters off, when my GPS was right. Nevertheless good found.

Caching while dashing out of Russell to the car ferry. Thought it was about time someone added a photo of these stripy fellas/ Bag full of water and so was container. Towelled down the waterproof log and dried the container. leaving it a bit more presentable. Thanks for hiding it. CBE

A couple of Aussies based in Paihia to spend a few days around the Bay of Islands area. Our tiny little hire car allowed us to snuggle in very close to the hiding spot.
TNLN . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt SaltyCacheNutZ.

Tracking a few more down on our last day in Russell, what a wonderful place!
Passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

checked on cache, dried out log & added a rain poncho as the seal on the lid looks a bit damaged but had no replacement. should be good for now.
The presence of the ride-on mower man meant we had to abandon our plan to attempt the photo challenge and be a little more stealthy! enjoyed the cache nonetheless.
Tried to make Roy reach this one from the car but it turns out he's not as supple as we thought he was. No real effort to get out of the car but we enjoy a challenge. TFTC
Found on our tour of Northland from Te Anau with The Italian Job from Auckland. TFTC
Number 10 of 17 on this rainy day. A quick grab along the road. The zebras are quite a bit away. We spotted them a few hours later when we were driving the road in the other direction.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Went for a drive up North whilst visiting family in Whangarei. Took them geocaching with us.
Had lunch in Russell, then looked for a few caches. Found this one the way out of Russell to the car ferry.
Didn't spot the zebras at first, but noticed as we drove away.
Cache was an easy find.

There are zebras around here ?. We were so determined to get the cache and get home for lunch we forgot to look. Quick park and grab but not limber enough to get it without getting out of the car.

A lovely Northland day and a road trip north to find a few caches with flowernz. Enjoyed the animal visit...TFTC
We are on our second caching holiday in New Zealand and today was our last full day of caching. We have been limited with the caches we could search for after Marco badly sprained his ankle at Cape Reinga and is on crutches – but this one was easily accessible so we decided to give it a go. Deb actually got out and fetched this one while Marco took a photo of the “wildlife”. A nice easy cache. TNLNSL TFTC
At last.......a TB that fits inside this size cache!!!!!!!!!! Something fishy going on Salty Cache. YEAH RIGHT!
An easy drive by, probably more legal if heading southbound though! Thanks SaltyCacheNutZ.
Loves seeing the animals acrossed the road. Mum and her baby I guess. Tftc

After a call of 'Theres the zebras' and not being able to see them I was slightly confused for a second...so the car rolled forward a little bit more so the tree that was obscuring my vision was out of the way. Jumped out of the car to sign the log & replaced and left the Zebras to their grazing.
Visited more than once introducing people to the world of geocaching, keep forgetting to log in!!!
great to see a couple of zebras in this corrigated corner of the world ! tftc
Fitzy and I are visiting New Zealand for a week to do some caching and have a look around.
This was our seventh cache on day three of our adventure.
Love the zebras, they spotted us WAY before we saw them!

No, LOL but have feigned interest in properties when stopping to plant, check or find some caches
Yes we did drive right up to it.Loved the zebra crossing. I see two do you. TFTF
Used the car as cover from Zoo Keepers across the road, covered the cache better as it was a little exposed.TFTC.
