Bugger! I was hoping to get this one, as i drive past it most days... Just couldnt quite work it out.
Hint didn't all fit in the GPS. I thought I was looking for a small, not a micro, so I was looking on the side of the pipe and not in the hinted spot.
No luck, found a packet of those things they put in shoes to stop moisture. Yeah those..
Nice quick drive by. Water looked very tempting for a swim on such a hot morning.

Had this one on the GPS for a while and decided to try even though we didn't have clues etc written down.
Mr Toffees geocaching eyes spotted the hidden gem. Like this one.

Fitzy and I are visiting New Zealand for a week to do some caching and have a look around.
This was our second cache on our last full day in New Zealand.
We have really loved seeing the country and doing all of these caches in such beautiful surroundings.
This was a nice spot, and an interesting statue.

An interesting piece of local history, our last stop on our way back to Tauranga.
12:45 You are right. It's not a hydroslide. With Xmuggle.
TBs visited. Cheers, GC

We are on a caching holiday from Australia and dropped by this cache. We were headed from Rotorua to Waitomo and decided to drop by this one on the way. It wasn’t until we were right close to GZ that we worked out the name of the cache. The hint on this was made it a nice easy find for us. TNLNSL TFTC
Found on second visit. It's easy when you know what
you are looking for. Very well Placed and looks natural.
Appears that the area has been cleaned up since
my last visit.

Glad I wasn't sliding down that slide.. Definately not butt friendly! Last find of the day..now 10pm. TFTC
Quick and easy find. Was going to leave a TB, but discovered it actually was a micro cache, and not enough room.
Interesting to see the dates on the memorial!

Well that was interesting. and I agree not a hydroslide, unless you are trout. t4tc
Found this one on my trip through the north island. Visited some great places and saw heaps of cool stuff. Thanks for showing me around and thanks for the cache.

A stopoff with a bit of history behind it. Doesn't look like the obvious spot for the first trout hatchery in New Zealand. A quick and easy find at the (Not a) Hydroslide. Thanks for showing us.

GPS had us a little off for some reason, but we managed to have it in hand fairly quickly!

Another find on the way to Rotorua, now I know the meaning of a hydroslide - a hydroslide on a lost highway SL TFTC
I think the water may have shrunk this cache to micro size! First find on my last day in NZ. Good to be able to get this one that I passed on my way down a few days ago. TFTC.
Gotta be one doesn’t it?? Clean around today, only 1 stray sock. Left the caravan on the main road rocking as the trucks thundered past.
This cache was in a place we would never have visited otherwise - an intereseting historical site with an Aussie link. TFTC
Nice little hidden area. Soon loocated the cache. Getting quite rusty, but ok for now. SL TFTC
Container is rather rusty now, but we managed to open it and sign the log book. TFTH
Kids are asleep in the car but I'm keen for a few more today as we make our final run home.

9.30am. First time we have seen that monument although we would have passed it dozens of times!
Quick find. Thank you. David and Noeline.

The new boy was too keen, shot out of the car as soon as I gave them a distance and headed off to search somewhere likely. Teen 2 was more cunning and waited for me to get an arrow on the compass before setting off and so he gets the find, well done Mat I've often wondered what that bizarre sign was pointing to, well now I know !

Almost drove on when I saw a car parked next to GZ.
Luckily there was nobody in the car.
Didn't try the slide myself.

Stopped on the way on holiday. Very cool place to stop and stretch our legs. Played racing the sticks down the stream from one side of the bridge to the other! Kids loved it! Wanted to try out that slide too.... TFTC
Nice little find (quick detour of the highway) on way home. Have been over this many times when it was the beaten track!
On our way home from Rotoma. So often we have crossed this bridge and had no idea the beautiful river that flowed underneath, some guys were fishing from the bridge which looked like fun (whether it was legal was disputable). Thanks for opening our eyes.
Just stopped in passing today and checked up.
Checking placement,refreshed bag and pencil.
Must of just missed GG.All Good.
River still pristine, area around a bit in need of TLC.

Sorry to have missed you guys - I was passing by pretty early in the morning on my way to Vegas. Bagged 4 peaks and 13 caches to boot all up, so not a bad days "work".
This one almost had me giving up. Was going paperless, so didn't see the very helpful picture. Had me crawling around in all sorts of improbable places looking for a normal small container instead. Found by feel within milliseconds of throwing in the towel - phew!
An interesting spot - it's amazing how quickly we forget the changes in roading, and how quickly nature starts reclaiming what was once hers.

Had to wait for the road painting guys refilling their vehicles for road markings right next to the cache location. Had to do a bit of river watching and waiting, eventually they left and we found the cache on the ground next to where it should be. Must have fallen off. But all good. The girls thought it would make a good hydroslide!!!

Quick and easy find in the poring rain. A monument to trout. I just had to stop and have a look. Thanks.
Made a stop on the way back from Lake Waikeremoana. Looked for quite a while with Rumo & Rala doing most the dirty work. No luck. Perhaps it's been moved?
well it was persisting down and dark. or maybe im just blind. had a good look but unable to find.
Only had a quick look as it was raining torrentially. It was getting very unpleasant maybe next! TFTC

The hints were confusing for us. Eventually found it after widening our search zone. Left it where we found it. Agree with the previous finders, that water sure is clear.

On the way over to Rotorua to kayak, so grabbed this one with theshanan team.
Nice clear water.

Easy enough find and sure enough.... not a hydroslide! Had to dodge a farmer scouting for trout in the super clear stream. TFTC
