My first find in South Dakota (my 25th state)! I had a hard time with the lid so I took a pic instead as proof of the find.
Thanks a bunch for the hide!

Our first cache find in South Dakota today while on a 15 state geocaching road trip. The cords were off a bit, but we were able to use our geo-sense and make the find. The log sheet was soaked, so we put one of our emergency log books in for a temporary fix. Three of us are caching together and signed the log as Team SAS. TFTC
We replaced the soaking wet log book and a used zip lock bag so we could sign the log as Team SAS. TNLN
We are on a geo-caching road trip for 3 weeks to grab the oldest caches in 8 states and provinces. Our trip started in Port Alberni BC Canada and by the time it is over we will have traveled 8,000 kilometeres or 5,000 miles. This is day 10 and what a perfect day we had. Our goal today was to head for North Dakota and head for the oldest cache there. I want to thank all of the CO's for placing the caches and showing me this country side. SL TFHT
US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 22. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. Today we set off from Rapid City to go North to get to North Dakota. A travel day, but a high priority on caching. We saw quite a few small towns along the way and got to explore a lot of out of the way spots. Thanks.

Heading north from Rapid City via Sturgis and Spearfish heading to North Dakota ending up in a small town call Belfield
Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Passing through on a cross country move and saw the cache near by. Thanks for placing one here. The bad news is that the cache appears to have seen better days. Anyways, SL/TFTC!
The Fantastic Four was on our road trip through the Dakotas when we stopped at the first cache we came across. Actually, we drove past it while playing a silly game of categories, noticed our error and turned back around. Good thing because it was Sly's first find of the trip, our first in the state of South Dakota and another win for the good team!
Seemed like a good place to drop of Mr. Penguin, our travel bug companion.

After a short walk, we made the quick find. This was our first (and only) find in Harding County as well as South Dakota. This doesn't do the great state of South Dakota justice, but we have been here many times before we started geocaching and I am sure we will be back!
We headed out on what would become a ten day, five thousand mile, geocaching adventure. Our goal was to make sure we found a cache for every county we passed through. Also, we wanted to complete our collection of the forty eight contiguous states. We saw much wonderful and scenic country, met many nice people, and found many very nice hides in our travels. Our journey took us from West Michigan through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and then through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and across the Mackinac bridge and back home. Thanks to each of you who added to our enjoyment during our journey.
Signed the log as BigCatCog ( or BCC ). Thank you for placing and maintaining this hide.
Find #2308 since we started geocaching from Grand Rapids, MI, on 24 May 2009.
