This was a great 800m walk. We enjoyed this walk as on e we were about 100m from GZ we got to stand and watch a echidna on the path eating ants, got about 1m away from us and wasn't spooked. Made our day. Cache was easily found. Dropped TB. Also spotted a birds nest on the way back, all the blue bottle caps made it stand out...I forget what those birds are called. thanks CashMan.
Second find of the afternoon with the mrs.
Nice long walk in to this cache.
There were literally hundreds of black swans out on the lake nearby.

Parked and jumped on the one remaining Scooter and off we rolled, well, in turn, it does make these walks a lot faster, but is just as tiring. A very windy foreshore greeted us and a cache fell into our hands, we were heading back within seconds. GPS is working a treat today, wish I could say the same for 3G.

Lovely walk. The Bellbirds chiming away. Further on the sound of the wind off the lake coming through the casurina trees. Picnic tables at the end of the trail.
Lovely walk in the forest. Arrived at GZ and looked and looked for about 20 mins without success. The GPS then changed its mind and sent me 5 metres in the opposite direction. A few minutes later the cash was in hand. Thanks Cash Man.
Nice walk, with each call of the bell birds you cant help but feel more n more relaxed
Took us forever, lasted through a half an hour rain storm, but eventually found the bugger! TFTC. TeamQOL

Nice walk in on seemingly newly made paths. A few new benches and picnic tables along the way too. Was a shame to see someone had already engraved their initials and 12/1/12 into the top. Took 4yo with us but he felt the walk was a bit long so he hitched a ride on dads shoulders! Once at GZ the geoson made a quick find. We left a geocoin then we followed a different path out.....
.... two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less travelled by and that made all the difference......

Lovely walk out to the point and GZ. Nicely hid cache not far off the track. TFTH. TNLNSL.
very prefect stroll on smooth track to gz, lovely view everywhere... Easy to find as cache very well... thanks
Reperio at 1100. Had some time before I headed off to work, so figured I'd get things off to a good start with a walk and a cache. Parked the trail head, and thoroughly enjoyed the walk out to the point. The birds were alive here, and with all the recent rain we've had over the past two weeks, the area had a rainforest feel to it. Once at GZ, the cache was spotted surprisingly close to the track. Great cache location.

Nice easy walk to a lovely spot, if you want a leisurely stroll with a nice place to have a break at the GZ this one is for you. TFTC.
I had been getting very bored with urban nanos and no swaps, so it was great to get out into the great outdoors for a decent walk and cache. The weather has been unseasonally cold this week, so today's sunshine during my walk was heavenly, and the birdlife was exceptional too. Didn't meet a single person on my walk, which took 45 minutes in all. Took cow coin to mooove along. Thanks Cash Man.
Lived in the area my whole life and didn't even know this was here, really great bushwalk and it's been all done up with chairs and picnic tables along the way. Nice find, put a VERY CUTE cow GeoCoin here that my gf didn't wanna get rid of lol.
We parked at the suggested parking spot at the start of the trail and headed off down the track. We had a very pleasant walk and enjoyed the views and the bird life. Very intrigued by the pink and blue rocks though! Once close to GZ Marco started looking on one side of the track and I on the other, but Marco came up trumps - but I got a huge fright when I stepped on a small snake as I was walking back to the track! Dropped off the Summernats GC and signed the log. TFTC
We didn't realise this one was so far in on the trail (a whole 800 metres), but the bush walk was just stunning. We were so lucky in that the track had just recently been re-surfaced with a thick bark mulch which made the trip so pleasant.
We just had to sit and drink in the view from the nearby picnic table... again, TFTC. TNLN

Great location and facilities but does any one know whats the go with the pink and blue rocks? Wonder if it was more assessable if more people would go there as there is a lot of funding being put into this area.
Found today at 3pm after a cross-country hike through the rather rough scrub, before joining the easy walking path! All good fun - thanks!
Nice walk to this one,My iphone was telling me at one stage that i was getting further away so i thought we were on the wrong track, but when the track started to go back to the right we were soon on top of it and it was found in an obvious place. TFTC SL
After a trip down to the Entrance it was caching time and this was the first as a wander was involved. I must say the Bell-birds were in full song just before dusk about half way to this cache. I wonder what the blue and pink painted rocks were used for in a previous life.
The cache was found in the first place I looked and the log duly signed and noted that an old caching friend (pprass) was the last finder who is now living up in this area.
Thanks to The Cash Man for placing this cache and showing me an area that I did not know existed.

Found at 3.55pm GAFF1. There was some sort of festival going on in the adjacent property and when we got down to the end of the peninsula - after finding we took a wrong track here and there, we could hear some of the campers playing a harmonica and a guitar. Lovely setting and it was even lovelier at GZ with a black swan gliding past and the light softening in the afternoon.
Thanks The Cash Man - a great spot.

Found easily enough today, got half way out to this one a few days prior and realised my GPS wouldn't get a fix so I wasn't even sure if I was on the right track.
Nice flat walk to and from this one. TFTC

Far out !!! Found it, took longer than expected to get to the 'destination' but worth it in the end.

A great walk down to an area I did not know existed. Very quiet, though flocks of black swans were cavorting nearby. Easy find, and a nice cache to be my 100th find. TFTC.
Great bike ride through the bush to the lake, some pretty pink & blue rocks on the way, found easily enough.
A lovely walk up to the point. Saw a big goanna along the way. The swans are certainly an impressive sight. Thanks Cash Man.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Mousewiz and I made a wrong turn but quickly found our error and got back on the right track. This was a pleasant stroll out to the waters edge. Once we got sight of the bay we saw what seems like hundreds of black swans out on the water. WOW! TFTC
I loved this walk and now I know why they call it Swansea. Will post a photo when I get back home. TFTC
After reading previous logs and on a very hot day we were a bit apprehensive about what we might find on this walk, but it was incident free. A nice short walk took us straight to the cache. TN, LN but thanks for the walk and hide.

No driving to this one--Madstars please note--a long walk through the gate and down the walking track. Made it at 1430, TNLN saw sleepy black swans.
We spent about twenty minutes trying to work out how to get to this one. The only road we found had a big gate up saying not to trespass....
I will wait for the cashmans event to find out what we were doing wrong.
Thanks

What a great location for a cache. I really enjoyed the walk in on a warm day. Luckily I did not see any "Joe Blakes" although did hear much scurrying in the bush at different locations. Hmmm could be a few slippery friends on safari!! Found the cache without difficulty.
On the walk to GZ, I rounded a corner and came across some "naturally" coloured rock formations. An interesting find on the way in. Paint tins and lids were lying around so decided to do the enviromentally right thing and remove them. They are now in my garbage bin awaiting disposal.
SL. Took ugly golf ball. Left gold pirate coin and red fire truck.
Thanks Cash Man for an enjoyable cache. By the way, I love your $10 note calling card!!

A most exciting cache. A nice walk out to the cache but on the way back I was not watching were I was going and stepped in front of a brown snake which slid over my boot. "Crystal Pauls" who were following screamed at about 130 dB, I did my imitation of a Massai dance followed by a sprint which should qualify me as a short price favourite for the next Masters Games. Other than that the walk was uneventful. TFTC.
After we read the previous log posted by the "Lyrebirds" i feel enough has been said!!! Except for the fact that i hate SNAKES!!!! Great Spot. TNLN, TFTC.

I thought I'd try this one on my way home from Sydney because The Wobbly's probably didn't come out to this one in the dark last night and I was right, but they did still beat me to it by a couple of hours.
I managed to get out to the cache right on sunset and it was spectacular looking west with the red sky reflecting off the lake, unfortunatly the camera phone wasn't able to capture it.
Thanks again Cashy.
